We will have 2 weekdays at BG (first week in June). We want to do all the shows and animal exhibits. Anything worth doing twice?

Do you think we will have trouble seeing Madagascar? since it is new.

DS loves water rides (I see there are 3) anyway we can do these several times without waiting for a long time and not buying QQ? Also, do you get soaked?

We won't be doing the big coasters (the ones that go upside down) How is Gwazi, is it scary, DS like Big Thunder Mt. Is Air Grover for little kids, DS is 11, would he be out of place?

We will have all day dining one day, what are the not to be missed food and snacks?
Any other tips welcome....thanks! :flower3:

Questions about getting there, how is the drive from Orlando to BG? I know it takes a little over an hour, but is the traffic horrible or pretty manageable? I ask, because I was considering the shuttle, but if its not too bad, I would rather drive, so we can get there early and leave when we want to.

Is BG easy to find? I don't want to get lost LOL.

I would say it depends on the time of day, and day of week, but it is really a straight trek down I4 from Orlando to Tampa, not generally a bad drive at all. And Busch is pretty easy to find. The supergrover coaster is definitely a kiddie coaster, however, my 15 and almost 13 year olds go on it, so comparable to the Barnstormer at Disney. I wouldn't think an 11 year old is out of place. There is also a "kiddie" coaster somewhat similiar to Primeval Whirl in the Timbuktu area, which we ride as a family. Gwazi is larger and more intense than Big Thunder Mtn, but not very scary, my ride chicken will ride it. My kids LOVE Wild Surge which is a kids drop tower (my ride chicken was scared at first but now adores it) and both could spend all day in the rope trails in Jungala and Sesame Place.
Of the water rides, the flume ride you really don't get wet very often at all on it, and the lines are ridiculously long for this ride, the boat (Tidal Wave I think) is great, short lines usually and you definitely do get wet here.

The all day dine is a great deal, we usually get it when we go for the day, as locals, it makes it so easy to be able to get drinks, etc as we want them. That said, we generally go by 9am, eat breakfast there, and also stay through supper, so that I am getting 3 meals per person to maximize the deal. The bbq place is really good, but we have enjoyed nearly all the restaurants at BG, and we are particularly fond of the Desert Grille in Timbuktu. It has air conditioned table area, for one, mostly italian food (spaghetti, etc) and the usual burgers, etc. And they do dance type shows on the stage in there so you can get food and a show all at once.

As far as Madagascar is concerned, I would expect them to have multiple showings throughout the day, usually at least 3 or 4 showings. They will likely open the theater approx 30 minutes prior to showtime. I would not expect it to be a problem as long as you are in line 30 minutes prior.
