A Dream Is A Wish...**Joe and Becky's Trip Report!** WP, CT, Yachtsman

Okay, on to our Rehersal Dinner (without the rehersal! lol) at Ohana's. We figured this would be a good time to get everybody together and have some fun the day before the wedding, and give them all an idea of the timeline for the next day.

We get there pretty early, and everybody finds some where to sit outside the restaurant while I go and check in.

The whole group lounging around:

Joe and his parents waiting patiently:

We figured we had at least a 15 min wait, so we decided to hand out the gift bags. Instead of giving out individual favors, everybody got a bag. We all got leis, too, which Mom purchased ahead of time on Ebay. The gift bags had hot chocolate packets in a mug, door hangers Joe and I had made, ornaments made by my Mom, candle votives my mom had etched Mickey heads into(the were so cute...and I'll post a pic as soon as I take one!) CD's that we had burned with special songs on them, and cinderella carriage picture frames. Tied onto the bags were small bells which had a tag tied onto them that read "Today as we gather together, Wish us A Love to Last forever. If you would like us to share a Wedding Kiss, Ring the bell for Lifelong Bliss." These of course, were supposed to be for the next day, but everybody got a kick out of making us practice! Also tied on were bubbles for everyone to blow as we walked out of the Pavillion. The had a tag that read "Rice may be traditional, but bubbles are more fun to wish the newlyweds well as their new life has begun!" My Mom was responsible for almost everything in the bags, except for the door hangers, and I was so happy with them-she did a great job!

The doorhangers Joe and I made:

wedding005.jpg

Aftet everybody got their leis and bags, Mom headed towards us with two presents. Before she gives them to us, she gave us both a visor...mine was white and said Bride, his was black and said Groom. They were soo cute!(another thing i need to take pics of!) Hmmm what is she doing? Gifts at the rehersal dinner? Well, little did I know what she was up to...so in front of everybody, and I do mean everybody, I open the box:

of50296442.jpg

of50590442-4.jpg

Joe knew what was coming, so he was a little bit more cautious in front of all of the people in the lobby who were listening and watching the big loud group!

of50590442-5.jpg

of50590442-6.jpg

I thought I would pass out from laughing so hard, and I wish I had a picture of the look on my Mom's face! Something was said by her, in between laughing and crying, that she expected us to wear them the next night! LOL, it was too funny.

So as soon as we get over our new "gifts", our buzzer goes off. We're walked through the restaurant, right past the dessert....yummy! I can't wait!

We finally get to our table and get situated. We stick out just a little bit...10 people, all dressed up, wearing lei's, and Joe and I wearing bride and groom visors! I was really happy to be there with everybody, and I knew we were gonna have some really good food soon!

Everybody haging out right after we get seated:

wedding044.jpg

We get our drinks, and the entertainer for the night comes over to our table and starts talking to us. We tell him what's going on, and he's extremely friendly and gives us a lot of attention

of50590442-7.jpg

He asks Joe and I if we'd be willing to help him with the limbo later on, which of course we say yes to. Lots of screaming kids running by, and they're all a different height-sure it was no problem! LOL! We had a lot of fun watching them and being a part of it!

of50590442-8.jpg

Also during the dinner, we are singled out by the guy(I wish I remembered his name!!!) and he announced who we were and what was going on, and got us to slow dance in front of everybody in the restaurant! We were pretty embarassed, but it was lots of fun, and our families got a kick out of it!

of50590442-11.jpg

of50590442-12.jpg

While I'm talking about dancing...a few people at our table learned a little about how to Hula while we were there-I haven't laughed that hard in a loooonnng time!

of50590442-9.jpg

All of this went on through dinner(I can't remember what happened exactly when.) However, this is where the story turns a little sour. After we got our appetizers, we had to wait a pretty long time for any other food. Then we finally get some sides, and an extra suprise with it. The server with the shrimp somehow managed to pour the sauce down my brother's back while he was sitting it on the table. He saw it, and barely acknowledged it. We finally got someone's attention, who brought over a damp towel to try and clean it up. In the meantime, I realize that Justin has a LOOK on his face. He's pretty easy going, so I knew that wasn't the whole problem. I finally found out that the food was really hot, and it was just as hot when it slid down his back. We tried to be cool about it, but nobody seemed to care, so Mom called over a manager and told him the problem. He was nice and apologetic, and offered to have the shirt dry cleaned for us. Ok, fine, shirt problem now fixed. Now on with dinner. But wait, there's nothing to eat! No skewers came to our table! We finally got 2 of them(steak and somehitng else) and ate them. Our drinks were empty, and our server seemed to be completely ignoring us. We were finally offered the other 2 typed of skewers about 5 mins after we were done eating. Keep in mind, that there were 10 of us. Add in everybody getting up, dancing, limbo, etc...we were there a pretty long time. I used to wait tables, and know it is a very hard job...but we were never really helped after the "shrimp incident." So back over comes the manager. He and Mom have a quiet talk, and eventually he comes over to Joe and I to personally apologize. He also let us know that the holiday Wishes would be starting soon, and we should stay to watch it. Turns out he took 20% off the total bill, and the shirt would get dry cleaned while we were at the Poly for the week. I would have rather had the good food, but it didn't quite work out that way. We received our dessert, which was the most delicous bread pudding, and watched Wishes from our table. Aside from the food and the service, we had a great time. The guy (why in the world did I not write down his name?!?!?) who was entertaining could not have been any better, and really involved our whole group in a lot of fun. I wasn't going to let this ruin anything about the trip or our wedding. Turns out, this was by far the worst thing that happened in the 2 weeks we were there.

After dinner, we walked back to our room, where we would split up again. This time, Mom and Joe were switching places. Mom would spend the night with me at the Poly, and Joe was going back to the condo with my grandparents and brother. We agreed we wouldn't see eachother or talk to eachother until the wedding!!! I told him goodbye, not believing that the next time I talked to him, I would be repeating wedding vows!

Up next:

It's finally here!!! Our wedding day!!!!!!

I am so glad that you didnt let the horrible service ruin your night at O'hana's. When we were there we had no idea who our server was... accept that we should call him Jackie Chan... lol. Beats me? Sounds like you and your DH were a great sport about the activities... which make for great memories together. I loved your door hangers.

:rotfl2: I cant believe the gifts you opened! Think of it this way though- you will never see those other people again. I hope your gifts turned out well. I can imagine your DH liked them.

On another note, I bet during these photos your nerves were getting to you. The night before the wedding threw me for a loop.

I cant wait until you post your wedding day :)

2 weeks in Disney? Wow....

Wedding Day!!!!!!

I can't believe it's finally here! I have waited for this day for sooo long! We had a 2 and a half year engagement, so this was a very long-anticipated day!

I woke up that morning at the Poly very well rested. The comfy beds are great, and I actually slept all night. I really didn't think I would be able to, but I felt pretty good when I woke up to our wake-up call! Mom was nice enough to stay with me that night, so that she could help me get ready. No way could I get that dress on by myself!

I had booked Carolyn Allen for that morning, along with Anna Warcaser from Majic Makeover. Carolyn was scheduled around 9 I believe, and Anna would be there around 10 or so. I took a shower, and decided I had to eat. Our ceremony was at 2PM, and the limo would be picking me up at 1:30. Once Anna was done with my hair and make-up, Randy would be showing up to take some pics, so there would be no time to eat. I walk the marathon distance over to the food court and pick up some Tonga Toast for Mom and a Mickey waffle for me and head back to the room. Believe me, the 10 mile walk to the main building was well worth it from my standpoint-I loved our room! Before I left, Carolyn Allen had arrived and had started steaming my dress. Once I got back, she was already gone! She did a really good job, and was really nice. I would recommend her to anyone! Even though my dress was lying flat in the back of a covered pickup truck, I wanted it to be perfect, and it was!

We ate our breakfast, and Anna called and asked for some help finding our building. Once she got there, she got right to work on my hair. I didn't really know what I wanted, I couldn't make up my mind. I knew I probably wanted it down, but I wasn't sure. I was extremely worried about my hair-the humidity outside was AWFUL. As in, it felt like August, not November! It was also a pretty cloudy morning, which had me concerened....but not for long :). Anna suggested that she would curl my hair, and pull the sides up just to see how I liked it. She said she could always pull more of it up. Once she finished and I saw it, I was really happy. It looked really natural, and I no longer wanted it up. Then she worked on my makeup, asking me what I wanted. I don't c wear makeup. Ever. So, lol, I told her I would trust her, and I just wanted to look as natural as possible but not washed out in the pictures.

Anna working on me in our room:

2801re2.jpg

She didn't take very long at all, which surprised me. She really knew what she was doing and didn't hesitate. At the same time, I could tell she wanted me to be happy, and kept asking for my approvoal. And she used a ton of hairspray, which really worked all day long!

While she was working on my hair/makeup, I had my Mom on the phone with DFTW. There wasn't exactly a problem, but I hadn't heard from my planner, Karen S at all. I called her when we arrived in Florida, and again on Monday afternoon, and again on Tuesday morning. I was a little concerened that I never received a call back. I wanted to make sure everything was in control, especially our marriage license, which she was supposed to have. We got our license by mail, and they sent it to her which was pretty convenient, but I was worried to say the least. So finally Mom got in touch with her somehow, and she informed us that she would not be at the wedding, but another Karen would. Fine with me, as long as someone is there. Not too long after Anna left, I received a phone call from Karen Skilling, who would be at our wedding that day. She was sooooo great!!!!! I cannot say enough good things about Karen! She talked to me for a while, explaining what was going to happen, when it was going to happen, and she asked me if I had any questions. I told her no, and then she said she'd see me at the Wedding Pavillion soon! She gave me her number, including her pager number in case I needed her for anything. I felt much much better.

On to Randy Chapman. What a great guy! I don't have his pictures yet, but he was wonderful to work with. He came to my room to take some "before" pictures, which he didnt' have to do, but he said he had extra time. He walked in the door clicking away on his cameras! He was really good, and took shots in the room, on the balcony, and then down on the Poly beach! I can't wait to see how they turned out...I was so nervous/anxious at that point I was practically shaking and probably wasn't smiling too much! LOL

from my Mom's camera in the room before we left:

d6dfre2.jpg

See what I mean? Fake smile!! LOL

Anyways, Randy left and we headed down to the main lobby. Hiking that far in that dress was, how should I say it, interesting. I didn't know how to act. On top of that, everybody that walked by was staring, saying congratulations, and I was freaking out. I tried to stay cool though.

The limo was already waiting for me, and then it hit me. Oh my gosh, am I going to cry or laugh? Neither, I just got in the limo and we headed over to the Wedding Pavillion which was about 3 mins away.

I forgot to add...at some point before Randy showed up, that cloudy humid day turned into a gorgeous sunny humid day!!! It was warm, but the sun was shining and I was soo happy about that! I was wondering to myself what Joe was thinking and how he was feeling about all of this. I hadn't talked to him all day, but Mom had. She said he sounded pretty shaky, so I was worried! I knew he would be there and everything would work out, but my nerves were trying so hard to get the best of me!

Once we got to the WP, I had to wait for a few minutes before they let me out. They wanted to make sure Joe was out of the way where there was no chance of him seeing me. I finally got out(probably not too gracefully-I tried, but it's not as easy as it looks!) and Stan from STVS and Randy were both there with their cameras ready to go. The outside of the WP was beautiful, and the weather was perfect! It was actually about to happen....wow!!!

Right after getting out of the limo with Mom:

of50590394.jpg

I started to walk across and Randy and Stan both commented that I looked like I was ready for a race. This walking fast would be a reoccuring trend throughout the day. I figure it was just because I was in a hurry to see my future Husband! I made it to the Bride's vestibule, where I saw my Dad for the first time, and I had to convince him not to cry so that I wouldn't cry! I also met Karen, who was absolutely the greatest! She gave me my flowers, which were beautiful, and reassured me that everything was ok, including Joe. She had seen him and talked to him and told me he was in one piece. Good thing! :) Rev Jack Day also came in to introduce himself. He was so sweet!!! He got down on one knee, kissed my hand, and called me Cinderella. I know that he does this for most of his Disney brides, but I felt like the only one! Speaking of which, we were the only couple at the WP that day!! How lucky can you get?? I gave him the rings, and he said he'd see me in just a few minutes! Just a few minutes and it would be time to marry the guy of my dreams....it really was turning out to be a fairytale come true!

Up next: The Cermony and The Reception

I promise I"ll post more asap, this has just taken longer than I thought it would! :) Thank you all for reading and your sweet comments!!! :)

YAY!!! Aww I can since the nervousness on your face!! Congratulations gal!!

Okay- This is my newfound reasoning... see if others find it the same.
:confused3 My WC was Tanis- Juliana showed up
:confused3 KimNKel's WC was Karen- Tanis showed up
:confused3 Your WC was Karen- a different Karen showed up

Is it just me or is it that the WC that you spend all this time planning with never comes to the actual ceremony?? Is it so they dont get chewed out if things dont go exactly as planned?

Anyways... You looked beautiful and Anna did a great job. I wish I had went with her instead of Lisa. I love your hair!!

I am so happy you loved Randy!! I loved him too! Isnt he so great? He did the same thing with me on my November 14 wedding- he came 1 hour early to start shooting (he said he finished up whatever he was doing sooner than expected). I was thrilled:woohoo: ! He also helped me a lot when it came to getting my DH and Dad ready. lol... I think they might have forgotten the marriage liscense if it werent for good ole Mr. Chapman.

Becky you look great!! Im so excited for you right now (I dont know why because you have been married for a month now..lol but... it feels to me like your wedding day!). Can't wait to ready more...popcorn::

Your trip report is awesome!!! We are, also, having our Welcome Dinner at O'hana and are staying at the Poly-Concierge for 14 nights :woohoo:

We are having our tasting, next month, but haven't got a date because our planner has to check on the chef's schedule. I am sooo looking forward to this part.

Is it just me or is it that the WC that you spend all this time planning with never comes to the actual ceremony?? Is it so they dont get chewed out if things dont go exactly as planned?

Such an interesting theory....you know when I found out that my original WC wouldn't be there I was actually happy. Hmm...wonder why that would be :rolleyes1

Becky, I breathed a huge sigh of relief when I read what you wrote about Karen #2. It seems that I'll have the same line up. My original WC (Karen), will not be there for the day and Karen Skilling will be there instead.

I'm loving your TR. Haven't had a chance yet to write because I'm frantically trying to mark papers (I'm a T.A. for Criminology class), pack, and fulfill all holiday obligations. What a hectic time of year!

You looked gorgeous! I can't wait for the next installment

Becky I'm loving your report. Can't wait to hear more details. I'm another whose WP was not there but she contacted me ahead of time to let me know and I ended up with Karen Syrette the day of my wedding.

im thinking that it might be standard for someone else to go to your wedding other than your WC. Hmm? I see a pattern...

I've got goosebumps reading your TR!!! :cloud9:

I've been married 23 years and your TR is bringing back all those wedding day jitters!:dance3:

It sounds so exciting!!

Can't wait to read more!!! :yay:

Becky, I just read your TR! How exciting! You have got me hooked. You look so beautiful! I can't wait to read more!!

Thanks everybody!!! You guys are so sweet! Sorry this thing is taking me so long..I'll try to do better!

In all honesty, I was really happy that we ended up with Karen Skilling. She was absolutely fantastic!!! I agree, it sounds to me like maybe Disney does this on purpose to an extent? Hmmmm...lol! Either way, it worked out great for us!!!

Wedding Day continued....

Karen came and told me and my Dad it was time, and we walked over to the double doors in the pavillion. I didn't know what to think...my head was all over the place. Karen said something to me, although I'm not really sure what, but it was something along the lines of "when we open these doors you'll see your future husband!" or something...I wasn't quite with it! I started to laugh, which scared me! She informed my dad that I would be the one setting the pace for the walk down the aisle, since I had to deal with the dress. She also gave me some good advice: if your dress starts to bunch under you, kick it underneath and you will be fine! Good advice! I wasn't crying, more like laughing out of nervousness when I heard the chiming of the hour, just like I had requested. Wow...this is it. The doors opened, and Canon in D began to play. I didn't know at the time, but we walked rather quickly to the front. I remember seeing Joe and being somewhat relieved! He looked so happy, and had a smile on his face, which made me smile even more! My dad gave me away, and gave Joe a hug, which I really felt was genuine. My family was more than happy that we were marrying eachother. Reverend Day began the ceremony, which I can't wait to see on video! For some reason, the whole thing sounded like the teacher on Charlie Brown cartoons...mwa mwah, mwah mwa mwa! I heard him, but at the same time, I was staring at Joe, trying not to cry. I held my tears back, and almost lost it in the middle of our vows, but I made it through! Rev Day did an amazing job with our ceremony. He made it very personal, and talked to us and about us as if he had known us for quite a while. We said our vows, lit our unity candle, and then the ceremony was wrapping up. The words "Joe, you may kiss your beautiful bride", that I had been waiting to hear were finally said!!!

5c6cre2.jpg

Then even better words..."I know present to you, Mr and Mrs Joe Carter!" Wow, was I on top of the world. Our exit song was Zip-A-Dee-Do-Dah, and we couldn't have picked a better one! We were both so happy, and it fit so well! Plus, it sounded great on the organ! I didn't know until I watched the sneak peak video, but we walked out swinging our arms and holding hands!

We were ushered into the bride's vestibule so that Karen could line everybody up for the bubbles, and we got a few minutes alone together. I told him how much I love him, and told him how happy I was. I was on cloud 9, and I never wanted to leave!

Rev Day came by to wish us well, as he had another wedding to attend to right after ours, and Karen then came to get us to walk through the bubbles, which was lots of fun, and I'm sure the pictures will be really good!

After that, the formal pictures began inside and outside the WP. Unfortunatly, I don't have my pics from Randy back yet, so I only have a few snapshots. Randy and Stan asked everybody not to really take any pics during the ceremony, which I was fine with, but these are a few that I do have:

If you want to check out our Sneak Peak that Stan did from STVS, it is at stvsweddings.com, then "sneak peeks", then "Becky and Joe." It's about 90 seconds long, and I can't wait to see the real one! I promise to post my pics from Randy as soon as they're up....I can't wait to see them!

Up next: Commander's Terrace for a magical reception, Yachtsman for a yummy dinner!!!

Becky- YAY!!! OMG you looked so good... and everything sounds so perfect. I can promise you that you will love randy's photos. I can tell that in the photo of you, joe and "the media" that that photo he is taking is going to be a great one! Where he fades certain things out and focusses on other! How exciting for you!! Well congrats Mrs. Carter... lets hear more!

After we took indoor formal pictures, we headed outside and took some shots out on the beach and around picture point. The rest of the family went into the limo over to the Grand Floridian, and then the limo returned to pick us up. The ride over to the GF was probably less than 2 mins long, but it gave us a break to sit down and take a deep breath. We were both a little worn out at this point, and it had been pretty hot out, so the air felt good. Plus, it gave us another few mins to spend some time together to talk about being "husband and wife". :)

Arriving at the GF:
2e87re2.jpg

When we got to out of the limo, there were tons of people around....and all of them were staring at us. Usually I don't like to draw attention to myself, but I actually kind of liked it! They were all saying congratulations, and I can't explain the look on the faces of the little girls that were out there-it was priceless! I couldn't believe how good it felt to have all of the attention-it was kind of an odd thing, but I did feel like a princess for the day!

Karen met us (have I mentioned how great she was yet?) and took everybody over to the elevator-Commander's Terrace is on the second floor. The Christmas decorations were up, and were so beautiful. This was our first visit to the GF. Once up there, everyone went out on the terrace, while Mom and Karen worked on the bustle on my dress. It took a LONG time. There were somehting like 14 little ties on it....I won't go into the trouble we had with David's Bridal, but they changed the bustle at least 4 times....2 days before we left for Florida. I suppose I should have been happy they fixed it at all after the bad service we got from their alterations dept. But that's between me and their manager!
After it was finally finished, Karen went out and introduced us, and we walked out.

532cre2.jpg

Everybody clapped, and I was loving every second of it. There was our cake, which was so pretty! We went over, and Karen taught us how to cut it, and then moved out of the way so that Randy could get some good shots. She was always there when we needed help, but never too much in the way. Joe and I agreed we would be NICE about the cake feeding....but I didn't fully trust him, and he probably didn't trust me either! We behaved ourselves, and nobody smashed any cake or anything! He did end up with some on the jacket of his shoulder, but I didnt' do that! That doesn't mean that I won't get him on our one year anniversary!!!

Papa had agreed to do a toast, which was really sweet, and I can't wait to hear on the video!

After that, the dancing began. We had brought our Ipod, and planned our first dance to be "Promise" from the end of Illuminations, but somehow the Ipod got left over at the pavillion. It wasn't too big of a deal, since we had the violin player there, I just wanted something with words for our first dance. We talked about it, and ended up with her playing "A dream is a wish" and our first dance was wondeful. After all, we had practiced the night before at Ohana's! This was the only "glitch" that happened during the whole day...and it was such a minor thing, it was forgotten about really quickly. The violin player was really good, and played all kinds of Disney love songs.

After our first dance, everybody else came and joined us:

During the dancing, we took a break and got to eat some of our cake. It was DELICIOUS!!! We had yellow cake with strawberry mousse. I hadnt' ever tasted anything like it. The strawberry was really subtle, so it wasn't too sweet and overpowering. It was just sooo good!

After all the dancing, cake eating, and chamagne drinking(which was also really good), Karen came over to ask us if there was anything else we needed, and told us we were welcome to stay as long as we wanted, since there were no other events that day! Stan and Randy said their goodbye's and we stayed there for a little while. Eventually we left, and went downtairs to take some pictures with the Christmas tree and the gingerbread house. I was sad to be leaving, but I knew the Yachtsman was going to feed us soon-real food! I was starting to get really hungry, although that may have had something to do with the life-size gingerbread house that smelled soooo good!

Overall, CT was beautiful. I had been a little disappointed that we wouldn't have what I considered a "real" reception in the beginning of the planning stages. However, I completely changed my mind. The view was amazing, and there was plenty of room for everyone, without feeling crowded. I could not have asked for anything more. It really was magical!

This is great Becky. Your cake was indeed beautiful!! I am so glad everything worked out so perfectly for you. Truely a day to remember pixiedust:

Congratulations!! Everything looks like it turned out beyond beautiful. You look absolutely gorgeous!!! The cake looks great too - strawberry mousse - yum! Can't wait to hear more! :goodvibes

We had 5:30 reservations at the Yachtsman Steakhouse, so we headed that way after stopping over at the WP one last time to pick up everyone's cars. Joe and I rode in the limo over to the Yacht Club, and we got the same reaction when we got out as we did at the GF! People everywhere just stopping and staring. I was still on cloud 9, but at the same time I was getting hungry and tired. Food would definitely help! We were a few mins early, so we hung out in the lobby admiring all of the Christmas decorations, including the huge village, which was awesome!

We had made arrangements with the manager to have special menus made up for our dinner with no prices on them, and it was a somewhat set menu. There were still 6 choices for entrees, which ended up not mattering too much because we all ordered the same thing! Once we sat down, our server came over, and she was extremely nice. Our menus were personalized, and read "the Yachtsman congratulates Becky and Joe!" and had a picture of a bride and groom Mickey and Minnie on the bottom! Too cute! We had several appetizers that were already pre-determined, that were served family style. They were jumbo shrimp cocktail, a tomato salad, and Maine diver scallops. Everybody said they were really good, and they had a really nice presentation. (I'm not really into seafood, or tomatoes for that matter, so I chowed down on some really good bread!) Next everybody got a caesar salad, which was really really tasty! There were a few choices for the main course, including Filet Mignon, New York Strip, Prime Rib, Ahi Tuna, Chicken, and a Ravioli Dish. Everybody got the Filet Mignon, which had mashed potatoes and Red Wine Sauce, except for my brother, who got the New York Strip. The steaks were absolutely delicous!!!! They were cooked perfectly, and were seasoned just right. For dessert, everybody got the same thing...a Jack Daniel's Mousse Cake that was to die for!!!!

wedding062-1.jpg

It was sooooooo good.....omg.....would I love to have that and some Ohana's bread pudding a few times a week! Hey, I don't ever have to fit into that wedding dress again, right? :)

Everybody before dinner started

As soon as we got there, I realized how thirsty I was!!(This is a good picture to show how well my hair held throughout the whole humid day!)
wedding055.jpg

Our table was decorated before we sat down, thanks to my stepmom Gina. She had taken antenna balls and put everybody's name on them which turned out soo cute! She then glued them to a little stand so that they could be used as placecards. She also had 2 different shades of purple mickey confetti and sprinkled it all over the table. To top it off, there were hershey kisses scattered on the table with little stickers on the bottom of them that said "Becky and Joe, Nov 28, 2006" (written in purple, of course!) with a tiny Mickey and Minnie bride and groom below it! It was sooo cute!

The Yachtsman was a great place to have our wedding dinner...I would definitely recommend it. Great service, along with great food.
The dinner was absolutely wonderful....a great end to a perfect day. I hated that it all had to end. But at the same time, it was just the beginning!!! :)

After we were all done eating, it was time to head out. We were given a ride back to the Poly by Joe's parents, which was nice of them since we didn't want to pay extra to have the limo stick around. Time wise, the limo worked out perfect when it dropped us off at the Yacht Club, and we didn't see any need to extend it just to go back to the Poly.

We were extremely extremely tired, and I was looking forward to some comfy shorts and a tshirt! As much as I LOVED my dress, it had been a long day. However, once we got back to the hotel and I changed(rather quickly since there were families waiting to come inside and talk to us!) I got a little depressed. There was my beautiful dress, in a ball in the floor...I would never wear it again. The day that I had planned over a year for was over...but I told myself that it was the beginning of our honeymoon, and the beginning of our lives together and convinced myself I needed to cheer up! :)

Several people came back to our room to pick up various things they had left, etc, and they told us goodbye and headed back to their own hotels/condos. Joe's parents were leaving the next day to head back to NC, so this would be the last time we would see them, which was also kind of sad because we had so much fun with them! I was happy just to know that they had a really good time and enjoyed everything so much.

The day had been a dream come true, and I wouldn't have changed it for anything. Disney was the perfect place to get married, and was truly memorable and magical, something that we will never ever forget!
