had fun watching these guys...was cool to get into their habitat
and some of my favorites
we had tickets for the later show to see the dolphins so had some lunch , Megan had a cheeseburger...I can't remember what I had though
after lunch we headed up to see the show, unfortunately no photos allowed...the dolphins were amazing!!
head over to check out the gift shop, but didn't see anything we HAD to have so took a couple more photos
and decided to head back to the hotel....I had some laundry to get done for the next part of our trip. decided to stay in the rest of the day and had dinner again downstairs, it had just gotten very humid for us and didn't feel like going out.
Saturday -----------------
had a lazy morning, ate breakfast and then we headed out to visit the "High Art Museum" but got there a bit to early didn't check Saturday opening times) so found a Barnes & Nobel to hang out in for a bit....we enjoyed the museum , sorry no photos though....was a good mix of masters, contemporary, sculptures, great area of local photos too! we had a light lunch before we headed out to visit some other friends for the night and have dinner.
Jim and I had worked with Melanie up in Shawnee on the Delaware back in 1996 and had stayed in touch...we did meet up once in Atlanta when Megan was a couple months old and she visited us in Charlotte in 2003...she married Dave about 7 years ago and they have two adorable little girls Caroline is almost 4 and Sara is 19 months! Megan had a blast playing with them while Mel and I chatted
we had an early night since our flight to Charleston was at 8am the next morning! got back to the hotel, packed up all that I could and we got to bed by 9pm.
up next Charleston!!!
