thanks D~ he insisted on wearing them, so I gave in shows how much rain we had....the falls were running really high for October

forgot I hadn't finished posting the rest of our itinery for SC and NC


8/12 - flight to Charleston we will arrive around 1030 am, get rental car and head to our inn...The Anchorage Inn Charleston ...

nothing is set in stone, these are our must do's / hope to do's though

visit golf course Jim built...The Golf Club at Wescott Plantation...hope to be able to show Megan around and take a few photos

have dinner at California Dreaming...was our favorite restaurant, they have the most wonderful salad and mini warm croissant's with honey butter that melt in your mouth and potato soup....guess you know what I'm having to eat its right on the Ashley river and we almost always saw dolphins swimming around

visit Foley Beach...another place we went almost every Sunday afternoon

carriage ride through old Charleston

visit the market and aquarium

take tour of a mansion or the harbor

shop and see what else we might be able to squeeze into our two days

we will leave late afternoon/early evening on the 14th to drive up to Charlotte (about 4 hours) to Judy & Pete's for the remainder of our trip....so excited to see them again and be able to spend so many days with them

only thing we have planned right now is visiting the course Jim built (hopefully they will let us on) Longview Country Club.....and the BIG DISBoutiquers shopping spree that mphalens (Marianne) has set up...not sure how many stores Judy and I will attempt but want to hit a couple and meet up with all the ladies think we have about 12-15 attending at this point...will also be spending extra time with VBAndrea (Andrea and DD Alexa) and 4monkeys( Amy and DD Alli) as they will be spending the weekend at Judy's...going to be crazy with all the girls running around and hope MarvAli (Marv, Ali and boys) can come up to see us also!

will plan some other things as we get closer, but know we will be having lots of time chatting and hanging out as much as we can


we fly out of Charlotte on 8/20 at 5pm...to ATL then on to Seattle and arrive back at 935pm

so I just need to get through the next few days and survive the Willy Wonka show, last few things to attend at school, three more dance classes and we are free for the summer

I think the four of us at my house are looking forward to meeting more than shopping ...correct me if I am wrong though ladies...My girls can't WAIT until the sleepover! Lisa told her hematologist this AM she was looking forward to a sleepover in August and didn't want to be leaking...

And Marv HAS to come since I am the one who remembered to invite him...Love you Marv! WHERE are you!!!???!!!

As for the rain... it rained during my wedding too. The rain stopped just long enough to get pictures outside but don't they say it is good luck to rain on your wedding day

you already knew what day we were coming in silly! hope to be there by 8:30 -9:00 pm....will call you though when we are heading out!

"sleep" over...you know there's not going to be much sleep happening just lots of giggles and talking .....hope the surgery will be a success and the leaking will be all done by then!

I am done with the extra's I am done with anything else too! just have to get through Tuesday!

Megan didn't have school yesterday so went to get some shopping done, picked up gifts for a big give, a few things for some girls we are seeing this summer and lunch out!

today is and cleaning day....wrap the BG....work on some swaps

tomorrow have a bday party to go to over on Bainbridge Island so will be gone most of the day for that!

they did a wonderful job, the sets looked great and was a fun show! one tired mama here today though, was a long day!

going to chill for a bit and then tackle the 120 pairs of socks and gloves to wash for the oompa loompas, will need them again for the short version of the show they are going Monday am at schooL!
