More Days!!!​

Last night Rob & I were discussing our Disney schedule for the 365th time . He usually closes his eyes and pretends to listen to me but I'm onto him. I usually don't mind too much as long as he listens to what I really want him to and then I go ahead and plan what I really want.

Well this time he was really listening and he perked up after day #1 and asked, "Aren't we going to DownTown Disney this trip?" I told him that I didn't have that worked in our plans. He said that he really wants to go there and he thought the kids would like it too. So, as he has never really made any request in our trip prior I thought I should let him have a night out in DTD.

I then started to go through the days again to figure out which would be the best evening to go. When I got to Tuesday I read off what was scheduled for that day. Brooke & I were going to the MK for mommy/daughter day whilst (for you Jo) Rob, Evan & Alec will be going to BB. Since we already had 2 other days planned at the MK I figured we could just forego the evening MK and go to DTD instead.

I quickly started naming off the dining places in DTD and we thought Raglan Road would be the best. I jumped on the phone and called Disney Dining. Well, I didn't actually jump on the phone. It would have broke. I picked up the phone and called DD. We had a choice of 5 pm or 7 pm. I chose 7 pm as I didn't think we could all get washed up and over to DTD in time for the 5 pm. I figured if the kids are hungry we could always get a quickie snack.

I am pretty excited about going to DTD now. I really want to use snack credits at Goofy's Candy to make our own rice krispie treats. Someone on the Dining board posted a video of them making a treat and my mouth was drooling.

I do need to figure out which other meal I will be paying OOP for myself only. The boys will all have credits on the DDP but because I used 2 credits for Cindy's I now need to pay OOP. I'll be figuring that one out very quickly.

So, this is my update! I think it's much better than Jo's update as I have a lot more paragraphs!

Friday, June 22
Day of Arrival
Evan & Alec go to school at 9 am. This is their last day of school and it ends at 10:30 am. I know, I know...why bother, right? Rob has to work so I will be the one rushing around making sure everything is all packed up. My parents live next door and have (hopefully) agreed to watch our dog, Jake, for the night until Jake's sitter comes on Saturday to pick him up. We need to be to the airport by 5 pm. Dad is driving us in our minivan. Our flight leaves at 6:20 pm, layover in Charlotte, NC, and arrives in Orlando at 10:55 pm. After reading all the mess with the luggage after 11 pm with DME, we will get our own luggage and take DME to POR.

Saturday, June 23 **update
Epcot
We will sleep in and then go to Epcot. We will probably grab a late CS breakfast in Epcot. We have a 4:10 pm ADR at Le Cellier. At 7:30 pm we will be in Norway to meet a whole bunch of fellow DISers including twob4him (Cathy), Karibritt01, Ragnrok, maybe SingingMom. A few others have expressed interest in meeting. We'll probably all have a drink and then ride Maelstrom together. Cathy will be passing on Felicia von Focker Crocker to me that evening. After that we will call it a night as we want to get to the MK early tomorrow.

Sunday, June 24
Magic Kingdom
Hopefully be at the MK by rope drop. We will be meeting up with CourtneyandRyan this day. We have an 11:30 am ADR at Crystal Palace. Plan on an afternoon break and then back in the evening for a CS dinner and fun. Probably not too late though. Early morning tomorrow.

Monday, June 25 **update
Animal Kingdom
We have to get there very early as we have an 8 am ADR at Donald's Breakfastosaurus. We will be meeting up with CrazyKanga (Laura) at the gate and hopefully we can get a table next to each other. We then plan to run to Expedition Everest as soon as the ropes drop and ride EE with Laura and her family. Of course we will need to do the Child Swap. Laura will have Flora Crocker and hopefully we can get a few pics of the 2 together. From there we will enjoy the park with as many FPs as we can. There is a chance of meeting up with tnmomof4 at the 11:30 am Nemo show. We will have CS meals whenver we are hungry. We plan on resting in the afternoon back at the resort again and coming back for more in the evening.

Tuesday, June 26 **change
Magic Kingdom/Blizzard Beach
DownTown Disney
This is the day we split up. Rob, Evan & Alec will be going to BB for most of the day. Brooke & I will be having a mommy & daughter day at the MK. The 2 of us have a 12:10 pm ADR at Cinderella's Royal Table. I plan on a slow paced day with Brooke doing all the kiddie stuff. We plan on doing the parks until about 2:30 - 3 pm and meeting up at the room. We will get washed up and take the ferry to Downtown Disney where we have a 7 pm ADR at Raglan Road. I also want to go to Goofy's Candy to make some rice krispie treats.

Wednesday, June 27 **update
MGM Studios
This will be a long day as we probably will not be taking a rest during the afternoon. We have an 11:30 am ADR at the Sci-Fi which we all are looking forward to. We love that place for lunch. Then we have a 5:40 pm ADR at 50s Prime Time. Sometime during the day we will meet up with tnmomof4 to give her Felicia. We will probably skip Fantasmic to be able to enjoy the "quietness" of the park that evening.

Thursday, June 28 **update
Epcot
Plan on getting here at rope drop and doing the biggie things we probably missed on Saturday - like Soarin'. We have an 11:30 am ADR at the Coral Reef. I mentioned on the ADR that we will be celebrating Rob & my 11th anniversary. I think I may try to arrange for a diver. We'll see. Not sure about a break today. We do have to make a choice between 2 different ADRs I have made - Garden Grill at 5:50 pm or Spoodles at 5:10 pm. We are leaning toward GG just for the convenience and characters. We have been to both already.

Friday, June 29
Magic Kingdom
We need to spend our final full day here of course! The only ADR is for lunch at 11:40 am at Liberty Tree Tavern. We will take a rest in the afternoon and then hopefully come back and have fun until everyone drops from exhaustion!

Saturday, June 30
Day of departure
We plan on getting CS breakfast and lunch to use up our credits. Maybe Rob & the kids will go swimming one last time. I am sure our DME bus back to the airport will be at 3:30 pm as our JetBlue flight leaves at 6:30 pm. We have a layover at JFK and then touchdown in Syracuse at 12:14 am. Whew!! A long day it will be but we can all sleep in...

First of all, I have never heard of a toilet paper cozy. They are quite interesting and cute. I never knew people made little dolls to hold toilet paper. But.. I did grow up in the North so I am sure there is a lot I don't know. Anyway... How nice of you to let your husband have a night at DTD!! You are so sweet. I too want to make those rice krispie treats. I watched that video on the dining board, and they do look really good. Someone also posted pictures of these cups. You pick out the bottom, middle and top. The bottom part are feet and the tops are ears. The cups are characters like Mickey or Goofy. I guess you get to fill them with slushies after you pick your cup parts. I think the kids will really like them.

I had a question about the fans you posted pictures of. I got the same ones. You said that you tested them. How did they work? I was wondering if they leak since they are made to hang upside down?

I remember seeing a TP cosy a very long time ago but not with the scary doll heads on them. I think they are pretty funny now as there are so many people with them as avatars!

I tested one of the fans really briefly in our bathroom sink. The kids caught me doing it so I had to stop it pretty quickly. I don't think it leaked at all. On another thread posted about those fans and there have been rave reviews! I think they will be just fine. I worry more about the blades being ripped off but they were cheap so I don't mind too much what happens.
