A different kind of trip report...

Thank you for posting this. I appreciated it!:goodvibes

I really enjoyed that. Forwarded it to a former pastor of ours who, with his family, travelled w/ us to WDW several times.

I love your trip report - I mailed it to DH and DF - both pastors.

Beautiful, Greg.

"Joy is the business of heaven." C.S. Lewis.....love that.

What an uplifting report. It brought a tear to my eye and I don't even cry at funerals. :( Thank you for sharing.

I guess I needed a good cry this evening. Thanks a bunch for this! :)

Thank you so much for this! It was beautiful and poignant. You illustrated the point beautifully, it is easy to see Jesus in Disney World, just like it is easy to see Jesus on Christmas morning. Anytime you can be a child again with that innocence and wonder you are closer to God. I am sorry that person criticized you. I feel sorry for them, to go to a beautiful place where people can find joy and wonder and kindness all around them and see only 'nutballs'. The world needs Disney World. There is so much pain and suffering and sadness; so much stress and so many burdens, but to have somewhere like Disney to be a kid again, to reconnect with your family, yourself, and yes, maybe even reconnect to God is so important. Admittedly, Disney is commercial -- they make money bringing people magic. Is it wrong that they should be rewarded for what they do? We all make money for what we do in our professions. Better that they should make money making people happy than making people miserable.

Thank you for sharing! I really needed a smile - we buried my Grandma yesterday ( a young 87!), and she lived her life for Jesus and we learned the same through her. We just took our yearly family vacation the end of May for two weeks, and our first day at MK there was a plane doing skywriting over the castle, and we have our family pic in front of the castle with the last part of 'Jesus Luvs U' being written! So we found Jesus too, right above my favourite place in the world, which I was happy to point out to my children - see, he's everywhere, even at WDW!:thumbsup2

I'm so sorry for your loss...you are in my thoughts and prayers.

In my 2 short years on this board I have read thousands of posts. I even have a few under my belt myself. Never has a post moved me to tears until I read yours Greg. How grateful I am to have found it!:goodvibes

Thank you for being so eliquent. My Mom always said that we shouldn't just think of God and Jesus when times were bad but also through the good times.
