I am wondering which rides tell a story in the line.. where it might be worth it to wait in the regular line the first time you ride to get the whole effect ( not using FOTL)? and also which rides get you so wet that when we are there in Dec. and it is cold.. should we avoid..or ride last as we are leaving..or other suggestions on how to deal with a wet ride in cold weather?
Thanks!

hi, I'm also going in dec. and worried about the temperatures for water rides. I was just there in april so it doesnt matter as much to me if I go on them but my cousin has never been there before so I hope the weather is nice for us and you. You get SOAKED on Popeyes and pretty wet on Dudley Do-Rights, never been on JPR but heard that in the middle of the boat you don't get too wet. As for the storylines, we always had FOTL so we never went through a regular line, sorry I can't help you with that.

Spiderman, Hulk, Doctor Doom, Dudley Do-Right, Popeye, and especially Dueling Dragons all have tidbits and atmoshpere you'll miss if you use FOTL. Definitely give a walk through the DD castle though.

Rocketman-I love your Lorax guy and quote - where did you get it?

Spider-Man is neat to look at, but if you have to wait more than half an hour, I'd skip the line and use the fast pass. I've seen the line on 120 minute waits before, and when you're outside, there isn't a whole lot to look at. The inside is sort of neat with the staff desks, etc.

Hulk has *nothing* to look at, with the exception of some televisions playing a cartoon explaining what happened to Bruce Banner. I prefer the music to the t.v., it's very upbeat and catchy.

Dueling Dragons is a definte walk though MUST! My favorite parts in the castle are the "ice" area, and the dragon skeleton.

Dudley Do Right really doesn't have much to look at...same with Popeye. Both do have some cute amusing signs to look at though.

The Unicorn Flyer is right next to Dueling Dragons, so all you hear is the screaming of the guests :) PLEASE NOTE! If you're taller than 5 ft 11", this is NOT the ride for you! I'm 6ft1", and I nearly broke my poor little kneecaps on this coaster.

One Fish, Two Fish is sort of aggrivating. When you wait in line, you see the fish and hear the song. When someone uses a fast pass, you have to wait much, much longer and the song gets on your nerves...and it's hard to explain to your 2 year old why everyone is skipping in front of her in line. I'm not a happy person when it comes to fast pass with this line...I wait in the line almost 30-45 minutes each time because of the fast pass.

Jurrassic Park has an amusing little show on the television...other than that, you're looking at a long line and some bushes.

Cat in the Hat has some different Suess animals inside the waiting area, and little blurbs about the book.

I would personally just use a fast pass on the bigger rides, but wait in line for the smaller ones to see some of the details. That's just me, anyways :hyper:

Hmm, must've missed this when you posted it! Anyway, better late reply than never...

First of all, thanks! Secondly, the quote is from Street of the Lifted Lorax at Suess Landing. It's at the end of the path. I used the Lorax from a book cover pic and just added the quote in myself.

MIB and ET tell a lot of story in the queue. Jaws, Shrek, and BTTF have some information that helps enhance the expereince.
