A couple of questions

Hi everyone! Boy, I haven't been here in eons, but it sure is good to be checking out the boards!

I have a couple of questions for you. We're leaving on Saturday for 5 nights at BWV and 4 nights at VWL. We're staying in a studio both places. We're bringing along one of my 13 YO son's friends. The boys of course do not want to share a bed.

My first question is: will the resorts provide a cot if we ask, or should we plan on bringing an air mattress and sleeping bag?

My second question is this: We've not stayed at VWL yet. We've already requested a quiet, dedicated studio. Are there any other room requests we should ask for at check in? Are there view studios? Anything else we should know about room requests there?

Thanks in advance and have a great day!

You will need to bring the air mattress & sleeping bag. The DVC resorts do not provide cots or rollaways.

Can't help with the VWL view questions - haven't stayed there yet either.

Enjoy the trip!

The vast majority of VWL views are of the woods. The one thing I would ask for if staying in a studio would be to ask for a studio with a tub...in other words, not a handicap access room. It appears that in a studio this makes a significant difference, especially in storage area and the shower area.

I'd also put smoking/non-smoking at the top of the list unless you truly don't care which one you get.

And last but not least, there is one studio (don't have the number) that doesn't have a balcony. Personally, I would miss that a lot.
