A Bit Disappointed With The Main St Bakery

Went to the MK for a few hrs last week. I went into the Main St bakery hoping to purchase some Chritsmas themed edibles, especially wanted a Gingerbread Man cookie. But when I went in, i discovered they didnt have any christmas goodies what so ever. The only things i saw were christmas decorated cup cakes. I dont understand why they wouldnt have any Christmas cookies, or gingerbread men etc. I was disappointed :( I know the GF sells Gingerbread men and houses, etc in their life size gingerbread house, but i didnt have time to go over there. You would think the MK would have more christmas edibles available for the guests.

I'd guess it comes down to how few people would actually make significant purchases. It takes quite a bit to ramp up for producing specialty products on site (since the bakery probably cannot get away with selling things baked elsewhere -- without risking someone complaining about it here online.) :rotfl:

I love the Main Street Bakery. Everyday of my trip that I go to the Magic Kingdom (which is usually about 4), I always go there for a cinammon roll.

In fact, 40 days from now I'll be on my way to get one!

I found the Candy store at MGM to have more in the line of holiday treats. We saw snowman sugar cookies, frosted snowman and stocking rice krispy treats and green and red sprinkled chocolate Marshmallows. Those were the best deal at $1.41 for three on a plastic Mickey Mouse straw. :)

I like Disneyland's main St Bakery better than the MK's. Altho they dont sell Christmas Goodies, either. I like Disneyland's Chocolate Chip Cookies from Disneyland's Main St bakery much better. I miss Disneyland :(
