A BIG Grumpy HELLO!!

I've posted a few times, but never actually posted to say hello. So here I am, HELLO!! Just call my Grumpy or Grump for short.

Now, I have a question that might seem convoluted. My annual pass expires on May 31st. I will be up at Disney on May 29-June 1st. I've already renewed my annual pass for another year and received my magic band and discount card today. My question is, can I use my new magic band when I go up before the 31st or do I need to bring my old magic band and then switch over on the 31st? I would love to just bring one magic band, but if I need to bring two, I will. Thank you in advance and thanks for having such an awesome forum with awesome people.

Either of the bands should work for the whole trip as long as your current AP and the renewal one are on the aame MDE account.

The band itself does not have information on it but just accesses information on your MDE account.

Because I tend to be over cautious, I would probably just bring both along, but it shouldn't be necessary.

Log into your MDE account, click on "MagicBands and Cards", and look for the bands that are "Active" on your account. All of the bands and cards shown will work and you only need one of them.

Thanks for the info and I am definitely NOT Grumpy when I'm at Disney. (Except when standing in a long line)
