$99 HP Touchpad

The closest Sd Md store is in Waldorf at the corner of 5 and 228.

I don't know how much they are selling for. They were selling for $99 there when the deal first came out, but the store was out when I checked it.

And, there were a lot of local people there looking for the same deal. Let us know if you get one.

I haven't yet to get the update email from HP SMB but my order is still showing up both ways to check order status....

I was losing hope in getting one anywhere after having 3 places cancel my orders so I got one off craigslist. I need 2 one for me and one for a Xmas gift for DD. I still have one left on HP SB so I will wait and if that one comes in I will give that one as the gift and in the mean time I get to sneak the other one out sometimes late at night when no one is around and play solitare with it

How did you shipment arrive?

We selected UPS - however, we received a note from USPS while we were out of town that we have a package to pick up at the post office...

We can't think of anything other than the touchpads that we ordered that wouldn't fit in our mailbox ?!?!

Do you think we are going to go to the post office tomorrow and have our touchpads waiting on us?

The Small Business shipping site said yesterday that our arrival date was... yesterday...

On this one mine show backordered and a ship day of 9/6 arrival date of 9/7. I know it won't be here today because there is no quantity allocated and when I click on tracking information it says no tracking info available.

I am starting to think I need to cancel my card over this deal. HP has put a "pending" on my card three different times and have yet to ship anything. It seems like every couple of days they put a hold on my account.

Today I finally got another email from them about my order. I guess some of those they're producing after the fact are actually going towards Small Business to fulfill orders. Good news I think?

Yep... I got the same email . Still deciding if I'm going to cancel or wait. After waiting two weeks and finally getting a response from HP that it's going to take another 6 to 8 weeks I'm about done with HP. I guess I won't miss what I never had.

Wait it out, definitely. Your DDs will love them once they get them....

I agree with waiting it out. At the very least you could sell them to someone else. (have you seen the crazy prices people are getting on craigslist?)

I figure since this wasn't something that was even on my radar there's no rush for me. I'll just be happy to get one! Hopefully I didn't jinx myself by buying accessories for it this weekend.

We have accessories at our local Walmart, but they are full price. He said he would sell me the folio at $30, but that is as low as he would go. I just bought one on ebay and it works great. You can even charge through it on the touchstone. We also have touchstones in our store, but expensive...

I took printouts of Office Depot's pricing (19.99 case and 39.99 touchstone) in to the small town Walmart where we were over the weekend. They matched those prices. I had my brother try to get his WM to match the walmart.com pricing ($19/$35) from a few weeks back, but that didn't fly. (I've read where some people were able to get their WM's to match those prices, guess it just depends on who you get.)

Yeah, we don't have an office depot within more than 100 miles of us. The manager told me that he couldn't match their price unless they were within 25 miles. I tried really hard. That is when he offered to go from $59.99 to $30. LOL He said he couldn't go any lower. I don't know who they think they are going to sell them to since he sold me all the TPs they had.... LOL I will just wait for them to go on clearance because they can't sell them. My WM doesn't PM the online store.

I got the email today also, I plan on waiting it out though, this is a xmas gift for DD so the waiting will work better for me cause I cant keep suprises and would most likely give it to her early.
