I was able to score two through the Small Biz area. It took almost 2 hours but we just got our confirmation number (no email confirmation yet, though).

Such a great deal and cheaper than a Kindle!

If you only want to do browsing, email, and photos, why are you paying more for 32GB? The extra 16GB won't matter for browsing or email. You'd have to have a LOT of pictures to need those extra 16GB. With 16GB you could have a few hundreds songs, 5 or 6 movies, and still plenty of room for pictures.

I am a photographer, so it is likely that I would have a few video slide shows, 1,000+ full HD resolution photos for consultation with clients and for slide shows.

I also plan to use it in my full time work as well - and that is as a college admissions counselor - so it is likely that I would have at least 500 photos, ebooks, and other media (videos etc)

- However, I'm not sure we got one, because a post to twitter from an HP executive said that the inventory on the Small Business site was indeed a glitch - SO we may not have purchased them after all. We'll have to wait and see!

If not, I think this may signal to me that it is time to just give up and buy an iPad! HAHAHAH

Has anyone received an ACTUAL confirmation e-mail from HP to confirm your order?

A Twitter post from an HP executive says that the Small Business (SMBC) site was OUT OF STOCK - so the website was incorrect.

So - unless you have received a confirmation from HP, please be cautious in getting your hopes up until all of this settles out on Monday.

I you have received a confirmation e-mail - PLEASE let the rest of us know!

I hope it went through for ALL of us! But I'm going to be cautious and not order the accessories that I was going to order until I'm sure the TouchPad is in the mail!

Well, it keeps coming up that the web page is unavailable, but the good news is that it lets me keep plugging along -- slow but steady - I just got through the billing information page. Next screen, if I ever get there, will be the credit card info... if this doesn't work, I'll be at Best Buy at 10 am sharp! Thanks, OP for letting us know about this.

Been trying for a couple of hours now. I've gotten as far as the shipping information. I thought it was supposed to be free shipping, but the screen is displaying $38.xx.

I did find a code for $30 off $150 purchase (buying 2 16GB) but I'm still waiting for the page to display to see if the code worked.

If you are ordering thru the small business side of the site.. the coupons will not work, they are from home and home office.. I tried.. It will only cause you to have to retry and that makes it even harder doing it.. so don't bother.. trust me.... There are no free shipping deals for the Business side.. I looked everywhere.. that free shipping is only for the home and home office.. read their fine print

Yay! Thank you OP! I've been at it since 3:00 and FINALLY got through. I submitted my order then the site timed out. Ugh...looked at my bank account and the money had been held. Called and stayed on hold for a bit and spoke with someone who said my order did, in fact, go through and gave me an order #. Here's hoping I don't get cancelled.

The $1 charge is just a test hold. Mine has it too. They do that to make sure your card works. It will drop off.

My niece who works at bet buy confirms clearance price tomorrow. She says they will be limit one so if you need more find a friend who doesn't need one!

After spending 2.5 hours of hitting refresh, going back, putting in info a 1000 times and changing the quantity that I wanted versus the number actually showing up.....the order FINALLY went through who knows if we will actually get them but hey....nothing ventured nothing gained.

I do find it ironic however that I placed my order on the very product that made them do the firesale....my iPad2...with this purchase my daughter and wife can each have their own tablet to play with leaving me all alone with mine

Yay! It finally worked!

I got 2 of the 32G ones. It was offering free shipping but I figured those would be the people to get theirs last, if there's any left. It's worth it to try for 2 day shipping.

I hope it worked and that there's no duplicates on my cc bill.

You are doing just what I did.. that was how I knew it didn't work... and had to refresh, refresh, refresh.. oh, did I say refresh

I still have yet to get my confirmation code too.. and here it is 1:30am.. I cannot get thru to check my status either.. I am still doing the refreshing game here for that..

I've been looking at every other online retailer, but if you want to pay $30 more OfficeDepot.com has them for $129 for the 16gb.

I also tried to order one on the HP website and got to the CC info and hit submit and it just kept loading . never got a confirm # so I'm not sure it went thru.
