The small business site now only has the 32GB tablet available. The home side of HP now has a link to notify you when it becomes available. I know someone posted about a twitter comment that the small business inventory was a glitch, but I'm not so sure. If it was a glitch, why are they still selling the 32GB today, but know the 16GB is sold out? They clearly were aware of the situation and if the website was selling product that wasn't there they would have shut it down instead of spending so many hours fighting to keep it up.

Good morning! Just an update.... I ordered from the HP site last night enduring the refresh, refresh.... for well over an hour. I placed the order around 6 pm.

My credit card has been charged. I received an email confirmation at 2am. Ship date is listed at the 25th...

Now I am just hopeful that I actually receive the tablet...

Thanks for posting. I just checked my order. This site says estimated ship date is 8/27 with arrival for 8/30. I am encouraged!

Yes this is where I got the one from this morning from HP. I typed in HP dot com and that came up and I clicked the touch pad and it said that the 16G was sold out but the 32g was still available. So I did it. Of course, I got the one from Best buy before they sold out, but like a pp I used my paypal account and it was charged in full. So we will see what happens on both. I called my discover card and there is an authorization charge on my cc of $1 so we will see ..

I figure something went though because I got the same message as you. I called my cc and they did say that there was an authorized amount on there.

Just checked my cc acct. It seems that they billed my card twice. 2 separate charges for $1 then 2 separate charges for $327.xx. We got 2 32g tablets, plus tax & shipping.

Oh well, I guess if we end up with 4 by accident, we can find some family or friends to buy one. May dh & I will share our own.

Sure will be nice to watch a movie with on the plane ride.

that is the hard thing.. you have to keep hitting add to the cart.. then the cart will pop up.. and who knows by that point how many are in your cart!! I really only wanted 3 to begin with. I ended up with 6.. I let my order go through that way.. I figured my 3 adult kids (who were the original 3), my DH said he would take one. I may keep one, if not, one of my friends said she would take the other 2.
The cart will pop up on the left hand side.

Cart appears at top left and gives you the option to click checkout. If you don't see that, you are either A) using a Mac or B) having bad luck.

If not on a mac, switch to a different web browser. Or refresh and add to cart again. If on a Mac, go to Windows or use something other than Safari as that seems to be causing all sorts of problems, namely not seeing the cart.

Just ordered a 32GB one from the HP site. My dad and I went to our local Office Depot when it opened this morning in hopes of getting some, but they were apparently sold out as of yesterday afternoon. I'm really hoping my order actually went through. I got an order # and it was estimated as shipping the 23rd, so now I'm just awaiting a confirmation email. My dad wanted me to get a few of them, but I'm hesitant to do so until I know my order did go through.

I cannot check mine... I don't have an order number. That screen came on literally for about 30 seconds yesterday (the screen with the blue line). By the time I went to write the number down, it was gone! It went to the error page. The charges are pending on my credit card, so I know they went that far with it... now if they are going to actually ship them to me is a different story...but as they have pending charges on my Disney Visa.. I have a leg to stand on if they don't ship Usually when you do an online order, they don't do anything to your card until the order is processed..and ready for shipment.. seems they went directly to my card!

I ordered mine from Best Buy early this morning. Chase is showing it on my account. I guess I'll know in a couple days if I got it. Of course, my plan for this thing is a bit different than most. I need it so I don't have to share my iPad with my DD8.

I can get to through the checkout process, but the unfortunate part is I somehow ended up with 3 in my cart and since I only want one I'm trying to remove 2 - but the site errors every time I try to do it...

that was how I ended up ordering 6, when I really only wanted 3.. I settled for the 6 order.. now that is if it actually did even go through! At this price, if you end up with the others, I am sure you can find a family member, friend or even co-worker who will take them off your hands... I know my friend already told me she would.. that is with not knowing if I am actually getting them... I will probably keep 4, my DH wants one.. I will use his.. when I go out of town instead of taking my laptop. I prefer using a laptop with the larger screen and real keyboard..

OMG.. you are reading my mind.. I was actually wondering the same about the email. I was thinking that maybe that page did have an error and they didn't get it correctly!!! I tried calling there today and their sales dept is closed until tomorrow. The charges are on my Visa though.. so they got my credit card numbers fine funny how that works isn't it You were smart not to go to BB.. if you end up with nothing.. then the way I am looking at it is.. it was not meant to be for us.. we will find a deal come Black Friday on something

Excaliberpc.com website says they have 6000+ of the 16G in stock, but it shows a price of $399. Would anyone assume they would price match if bought one today? Their phone sales appears to be closed.
