We are going in Dec 06 at staying at WL. I was wondering if you Disers out there would cough up $300 more dollars for an extra day. I would like to stay for 10 days but it might just be too long and I do not want to stay less than 8... I will be there with our 2.5 DD and my DH. I have never stayed longer than 7 days and I know that there would be so much to do.. I just wonder if it will be too much.... not for me but for DD and DH. What would you guys do ?

Thanks :earboy2:

We stayed 10 days on our last vacation and it was wonderful. WOuld like to stay 14 the next time... we found that we could do things at our own pace. Go to the parks in the morning - come back for a swim, play golf - we went to Sea World one day and Disvocery Cove another day - we had a day at the spa - it was great... we never felt rushed - with that being said we leave in 38 hours for a trip for 3 full days in the park - leave on the fourth - that should be busy - but my kids are 12 and 16 so they move along easily... I say stay if you can... enjoy the magic just a little longer!!

We stayed 14 days last June. The ONLY problem with staying so long was being in a small hotel room. Now that weve stayed on site a few times, we are renting a villa. I think 14 days was perfect! We had down time to actually relax! We got to do everything we wanted and more. We had hopper passes so if one park was busy we could goto another park later in the day.

The other problem was not having a car the whole time.
This time we are driving down so we have a car.

Everytime we go we learn more ways to make the next time better for us.

14 days is a perfect numbers of days for us.

Longer is always better in my opinion - in fact, just this morning I added another night to our December visit. Yippee! The longest trip to WDW we have taken was 16 nights and I would have gladly stayed longer (darn that whole working for a living thing!). I think the longer trips give you more time to "stop and smell the roses". Enjoy, whatever you decide to do.

you can never have enough time at WDW, we went for 16 nights this year and barely touched the surface, in 2007 we are going for 21 nights.

Our last two visits were for 14 days each. We have split our stay with a week at each. It was wonderful. Still have not seen everything. Can't wait to go back. We plan on two weeks next fall. If you can afford it, do it! :cool1:

We average 10-13 days for every trip & never tire of visiting WDW! :) We are planning a trip next fall for 12-13 nights & can't wait. I would definitely vote for adding the extra night especially since your trip is in December - there is so much extra to see & do at WDW in December at all of the parks & even the Resorts.

Have fun!! :teeth:
