Congratulations on Deluxe!! I stayed in Deluxe once - as a birthday present my mom offered to pay half the cost of staying at the Grand Floridian over a long weekend. I really liked it, and had always dreamed of staying there. I liked being on the monorail, but I think I'll save trying the other two until I have stroller-aged children. I really want to try Boardwalk area some time soon though

That said - I am perfectly happy going back to moderate. I loved my stay at POR last February!! Like you, I do plan on trying all the resorts once. I should probably start doing some split stays like you in order to meet this goal...

Congrats again - and I'm really looking forward to your PTR for November! I just love Disney around Christmas Maybe I should push my plans for an October trip to November to see the parks all done up again

Thanks! He made it in our giant sand box. We have a balcony type deck coming off of the second story, DH built a sand box under it. So it's shaded in the summer. DS8 can spend hours in that thing!

OMGosh, I don't even know where to start! Ok, I too am a huge sap and your vaca video totally brought me to tears...ugh! I truly hope that when I get to take my DS11 there in late April that he too will get the same feeling about Disney like your DS's do. This was such a great trip report, you really should do this for a living or somethingWe also want to stay at BWI and almost did, but DS11 is pumped about ASSP so it'll have to wait til next timeThank you so much for spending so much of your time on your TR...it was so informative and fun...can't wait for your next one!!!

I don't know if I'll do another PTR. I just really don't have all that much to say before the trip to keep it going. If I do start one it probably won't be until about a month or 2 before the trip. But I will definitely try to do another TR!

Jamaica 45 and Aruba 51 are great locations to request at CBR. Right across the bridge from OPR! Each village has it's own bus stop, so you are never far from one of those. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Yes, it is fun trying new resorts! I figure you only get to WDW so many times in your life, so why not make each time a new adventure with a new resort! We do have our favorites - CBR and POR - and I'm sure we will return to them, but just not every time.

I'm sure you'll have a great trip whether you go in Oct or Nov, but I do vote for November!!

We got the sand castle kit at the Once Upon a Toy store in DTD. It was back near the Star Wars stuff, so you won't miss it!

Oh yes, I have been scrapping for weeks. I am nearly done with our WDW trip. Should be able to finish it up this week hopefully! Then it will be on to DS8's book, I am way behind on it.

After DH was done on the phone we headed back up Main Street towards Casey's Corner. This place is a must do for us every trip.

We totally fell in love with Casey's this trip!

BUT after we rounded the curve after the drop there was a big spray of water and the last 2 rows got soaked.

I always wear my poncho even though I look like a dork!

I think this turned out nice!

We will be going the same week as last year, but staying one less night -- Sat Nov 6 - Sat Nov 13. Hoping for low crowds and awesome sunny warm weather again!

Oh yes, I have been scrapping for weeks. I am nearly done with our WDW trip. Should be able to finish it up this week hopefully! Then it will be on to DS8's book, I am way behind on it.

Wanna scrap my book - I am so far behind, even reading about it set off the panic button. I even bought digital scrapbook software and it's sealed in the box... I feel like such a procrastinator, but then I look as my schedule and don't know when I would have the time

I am glad you were able to get so much done, I bet it feels great to have that accomplished ! So as happy I am for you, I feel sick knowing how much I have to do.


We were clearing off my SD card yesterday, there were over 2500 photos from April until now . I don't even have time to sort them, let alone scrapbook!

But I should add - I seem to have plenty of time to dis - ok the guilt is setting in.
