I told DH about your BWI trip plans and he said, I don't know if I can go back to Moderate!! He loved the bigger beds at Swan and BLT!!

When Sarah turns 10 if her eating habits don't change, we will be foregoing DDP because it would be a big waste of money, so then maybe we'd stay at Swan/Dolphin again. She doesn't even turn 9 until March, so maybe I can get one more trip in with DDP. I really like having it prepaid!!

We liked November better than October. When we went in October it was the very first week of the month, and it was HOT and it was CROWDED. It was our first trip, so of course it was still very magical, but we probably wouldn't choose to go that week again. [/COLOR][/FONT]

Why thank you, Mz Jo, for the compliment! I'm not a regular reader on the CB, but that guy has caught my eye several times on football threads. I remember him hating all over the Tim Tebow threads a few months ago. It just seems to me that he is way over-invested in topics that shouldn't concern him.

Ooh, you sneaky thing, you! Had a trip booked for a month and didn't tell us. All kidding aside, CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!!

You must be so excited!! I have no doubt you chose the right deluxe for your family, after all the research you did. Your DH must rest very easily knowing you always do your homework when it comes to a Disney vacation. He doesn't have to worry that you haven't considered everything or that you aren't trying to get the best deal.

oh Shelly....I am so happy for ya'll!!! You are gonna love being over there!! I love it!!I am very tempted to do Nov again---it is just so hard to pack for both types of weather with these dang luggage fees!!!Plus, I would rather just do shorts/capris and tee shirts anyway!!!! I have to say that clown IS a BIG issue for me I really don't like them and I think it's scary! I don't know what the kids think about it tho'....anyhoo--I am so glad you got that awesome code----I didn't get onehmph..wonder why? I sure would love one!!!

Thanks Shawna. I know, luggage fees stink! I did pack quite a bit less for early Nov than I did for late Jan though. I knew from the forecast that we were mostly only going to need shorts & short-sleeved shirts. We did end up needing pants & sweatshirts one day. We wore pants down and I only packed us each one extra pair. So it wasn't bad!

Yes, DH is worried that once we go deluxe I won't want to go back to a moderate. But I know that I will be fine with going back to CBR or POR. The beds are only about 5" smaller anyway, plus my kids sleep on an air mattress! So that's definitely not an issue for us.

I think that 10 year olds being charged as an adult on the DDP is ridiculous. Maybe 13 or 14, but surely not 10. It is very convenient to have it prepaid, but it's just not worth it for us anymore. I think I will get a Disney gift card before we leave and use it for dining, so it will still be prepaid! The only thing that might not work for that is the restaurants that aren't Disney owned.

Deluxe 2010!

Woohoo for going deluxe in 2010!! Thanks for being my deluxe pusher! Although I'm not sure DH thanks you!!

Sorry, I wanted to tell you so badly and almost did several times!! But I didn't want to ruin the end of the TR for you. I mean, since it was a part of your daily routine and all.

Congratulations!!! Sounds like a dream resort! CBR is on my radar for our next trip. Can you please tell me what you loved about it?

Yes, I'd love to share my CBR love with you!!

First, here is my review of our last stay there ~ http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2074555 There is a lot of info and pics in there.

CBR is very spacious, but laid out much differently than OKW (I know you just stayed at OKW and had a pretty far out room like me). We have had a standard location both times we have stayed there and both times we have been within a 3-5 minute walk of everything -- main pool, quiet pool, children's pool, food court, bus stop, gift shop, etc. The rooms are good sized and are Disney themed - Nemo or POTC. The main pool is zero entry and has 2 slides, one shorter & open, the other longer & enclosed. Couldn't keep DS10 off of the enclosed one!! There is a children's pool next to the main pool and it is pirate ship themed and has 3 slides and a tipping bucket! The grounds are beautiful and we just love that paid back tropical feel. There are hammocks by the lake and playgrounds on the beaches. You can even see the higher parts of IllumiNations from the resort. The food court is very good and has lots of choices. There is a marina and a pirate cruise for the kids. And the bus service has been excellent! Let me know if you have any specific questions and I will be happy to try to answer them!

DS8 got this sand castle kit and it works great! I was surprised by the details that showed up in the sand. Very neat!

It was actually nice out for a few weeks after we got back from Disney, so we were able to get a little use out of it!

OMGosh, I don't even know where to start! Ok, I too am a huge sap and your vaca video totally brought me to tears...ugh! I truly hope that when I get to take my DS11 there in late April that he too will get the same feeling about Disney like your DS's do. This was such a great trip report, you really should do this for a living or somethingWe also want to stay at BWI and almost did, but DS11 is pumped about ASSP so it'll have to wait til next timeThank you so much for spending so much of your time on your TR...it was so informative and fun...can't wait for your next one!!!
