Hello everyone! We're back from Disneyland and I got to tell you, we had a G-R-E-A-T time! The Park was very crowded, since many kids are going back to school this coming week. I guess everyone wanted to get their last "fix" in before school started.

It was so special to meet Sandy, Joe, Miriah, Steve, Michelle, Kirsty and all the wonderful kids. Wow! What a nice group of folks. We certainly can't wait for the cruise, but now, it will be even more special!

Steve took the photos, so you get to see the pictures when he gets home.

I found lots of fun things to buy, many of which will be surprises for some of you. "wink, wink"!

OH! OH! THANKS FOR THE REMINDER!!! I'm going to have to get my pins from home!! I was so upset, because I forgot to get a year pin in Feb. Who would have thunk it! I now get a second chance to get one.

So will they give them out to us or are they to be purchased? If I have to buy them, I would like to know when and where so I can get a good spot in line!!!

Hopefully they will actually do it like they did last year on the eastbound repositioning cruise.

At some point you will receive an order form in your stateroom. You'll probably need to fill it out and deliver it to Mickey's Mates. On the form you'll be able to request how many of each pin that you want, based on the number of people booked into your stateroom. They'll probably charge it to your KTTW card and deliver the pins to your room, or have some kind of pick up system set up somewhere.

I'm working on the one thing at a time, but multi-tasking gets me out of that mode at times. With five little ones - 3,5,6,9,10- it gets pretty crazy around here! I'm sure I'll get there one of these days! lol

I did some reading last night! This fish extender thing seems really cool. I really like how they have turned out! Are you making/bringing goodies to put in others fish extenders while on the cruise? If so, can we join in and about how many people should we plan for?

Also, is anyone still planning on doing the Scoops gathering at 3pm on embarkation day? I know that would be a big treat for DJ!

Wan - I am sorry you have to show up for jury duty, I was lucky enough to be able to send in all my travel documents and a few weeks later found out I was deferred until November, I was so scared they would not excuse me!!! Hang in there and take a deep breath!!!

My mom and I did receive our docs on Friday before we left camping for the weekend so we were doing the docs dance all weekend long.

I am sure I missed a ton but my brain can only remember about 2-3 pages back (NOT 12 pages!!!!)

When we are boarding the ship, I will be wearing a lime green tropical shirt and a kakhi skirt, with light-up lime green flip flops.

It really doesn't matter where we meet, it's a short walk and down a staircase to get to Scoops. As everyone gathers it's easy to slip away for a few minutes to get some ice cream and then reappear at the DIS-gathering. I know it works,and no one ever noticed! Alex

ok...i've got my boxes almost packed. but the kids and I are going to WDW tomorrow and i don't want to send the boxes for the cruise til i get back. so i will be fedex'ing the boxes on 8/30. the express rate for a 12x12x12 box at 15 lbs is about $30....it arrives tues 9/5. the ground rate is $8.50 and it arrives in 3 business days- which by my calculation is also tues 9/5.

my question is.....if they arrive on tues 9/5 or, things get screwed up and arrive wed 9/6 will they still make it on the cruise on 9/7?

we only get back from WDW on 8/29, so i can't mail them before 8/30.

We're mailing ours on the 24th. Two weeks out. Since we are sending drinks in the box we want it to go ground. And I think it has to be there at least 3 days before sailing.
