9/7/06 10 night Wonder Southern Caribbean "Cruising in WONDERland!"

How about 3 - 3:45pm (until time to get ready for the drill) on Deck 10 right above Scoops? I don't know what side of the ship that is.....
I know that at least a few of my family will be front and center for the sailaway party! I wouldn't be able to keep 5dd & Pirana (15dd) away from it!

Steph- I think that's a great location and time. It's above the Mickey pool on the right side (as you face the front of the ship)toward the back of the ship so it shouldn't be too crowded. There are chairs and loungers as well. Alex

For all those pin traders out there, the last time we cruised, they had special pins for "Annual Passholders", but you had to have your Annual Pass with you to take advantage of the offer. Remember to take it with you if you are a pinaholic. LOL!

Heads up about Pillowcases: I was reading in the Passporter Tips that parents used to take their pillowcases to the front desk and ask that they be returned to their cabins with all the signatures. I guess they don't do this anymore, since there are so many requests. It may be more memorable for your kids to collect the signatures anyway! I'd love to do this for my granddaughter since she won't be with me. (sigh)

This is great. If some one wants icecream ,they can get it. Easy to find and deck 10 is the least crowded. With the wearing of the lime green,we should be easy to spot.

Do you know when that policy became effective? We have had a pillowcase done on both of our cruises. The last one was last August/Sept 2005.

If they don't take them over the counter anymore I have a piece of cardboard packed to put inside the pillowcase for when it is signed. I will just have my dd take it on the autograph days to have it autographed that way! Then the kids don't miss out!

The most logical back-up place would be deck 9 by Scoops and next to the Mickey pool. Things would be a little crowded, but it might work. Alex

I am not sure how frequently Passporter Tips are updated, but there are several recent posts on the main Disboads cruise forum which state that pillowcases are still being signed and returned to the staterooms. There are some posts from lte July/early August cruisers. Other items seem to be being signed as well. Sorry I don't know how to link to threads, but a search of "pillowcase" will turn them up.

In the threads, some posters mention that they haven't gotten very many signatures on shorter cruises, and some people have heard that others didn't get anything back on shorter cruises. Other posters suggest picking up the item at guest services the last rather than waiting for it to be delivered.

I am going to bring my items (t-shirt, photo mat) and see what they say once we're onboard. I may try to get signatures myself for the photo mat anyway, because dd may appreciate it more if she actually sees the characters sign it.

dznylnd Celia's husband John is a prince of a guy.

Celia I trust that for the cruise since John is not going to be with you are going to have tons of pictures to take since he hasn't been to these islands either.

My DH went to Costco and bought me 3 1gb memory cards. I told him that means that I am filling each one up and then bringing them home to be downloaded.

I found that the local winery can ship to Fl. Now I just have to go there and figure out which ones I want to bring. I'll probably try them first. I can't bring them unless I know what they taste like.

Stepht5 I I bow to your greatness O lead Mouseketeer. You have put together a fantastic time and I look forward to meeting everyone.

Sorry...but we left early as Jody had hurt his back almost as soon as we got to the park and he was in a hurry to get home to his drugs.

Kirsty... I'm so glad we got to meet you & your little Juliette. She is such a sweetie. Thanks for asking about Jody, he is better today, although still sore and moving around more carefully. I don't think he will be jumping any fences in the near future.

Michelle... WAKE Steve up!... we want to see the pictures. Thanks again to all of ya'll for driving up.. err.. down.. or was it over? Anyway... I'm glad we got to meet up. Your baby is just as adorable in person as in her pictures.

Mary, this came from the "new" Passporter Tips. Of course, things change, but I did want everyone to be prepared in case it was true. I think the kids would have a blast searching out all the characters and asking them to sign anyway!
