Glad you are joining us! :wave2:

Now that I am sure we will be on this sailing, I'll offer to be the backup FE organizer in case Malificent one changes cruises or doesn't feel up to it anymore.

I got so excited about confirming our booking that I designed one of our FE gifts this morning. LOL

Hi! This is our first Disney Cruise and to be perfectly honest, my first time on discussion forum. You seem to know a lot about what's going on and I'd love for you to share some of your knowledge with me if you don't mind. I've been pouring over pages about fish extenders and pillow cases and pirate parties and fireworks... Lol I love Disney!!!! How do we get on a fish extender list? Is there anything else I should know?

ShavWhit, looks like we are in the same boat (pardon the pun :rotfl2:) I've been reading and reading and reading posts on this forum too and have learned so much! We are wanting to participate in fish extenders too and, from what I understand, we start off in this post, get to know everyone and then put our name on the list when the organizer calls for it. Does anyone have any idea which night of the cruise that pirate night will likely be? Also, I was reading about meal rotations. How does that work? I know that we are assigned a rotation, but thought that Animators Palate was considered the main dining room and we could alternate to other restaurants on our own for the other nights...

There are three main dining rooms. You are assigned a time and table number. Your dining rotation will be on your room card. You dine in the specified restaurant of the night and your table mates and servers rotate with you. Each dining room has a different menu. On the other nights the same menu is served in each dining room such as the Pirate Night menu, or the Til We meet again menu.

I'm glad to know I'm not alone TexMicks! We have cruised before but from what I understand there is nothing like a Disney Cruise. We have also been to DW twice and LOVED it! I've already started searching the internet for our FE gifts!!

Eeek. Just decided to use my tax return to book my very first cruise ever with my best friend, Adam! I'm very excited, even though we still have a bit to figure out (what to do with the dog, do we drive down super early Saturday morning when I get off work, or wait till like 7am or so, etc). I also booked a guarantee inside cabin, so hoping I get some pixie dust and get something decent, though really anything is good with me right now, lol.

I'm excited by all these new bookings! Whoo hoo, I think we are going to have a good sized FE list. :thumbsup2

Hi there! Glad to have you here. You are in the right place for the FE list. At some point we will collect names from this thread and the organizer will create a document with all of our info for sharing.

Hi there to you too! As far as I know, this is the first cruise with this itinerary so we don't know 100% until it is published. It should be listed on your "My Reservation" page online about the time when the port activities open for booking. On my Magic cruise a month ago, it pre-loaded the pirate night onto the "My Activities" part of the website.

From what I've seen of other itineraries and from how ships sail to/from that area, I'd guess (pure guess) either the night of Castaway Cay or Nassau. Anyone else have other info or a guess?

Hi there! Glad you are joining us. You are going to get spoiled making Disney your first cruise!

For our cruise earlier this month, we left our house to the west of Ft Worth at 7 am. It seemed just about perfect in timing for us, but on a Saturday it might not matter as much since you don't have rush hour to deal with through Houston. If you decide to leave early, we like to stop at Sam's for their buffet. Never had the breakfast, but I'm sure it is good too. http://www.samsoriginal.com

Woohoo!! Just booked this for me, my husband, and our 6 year old son.! Can't wait! This will be our second Disney cruise... several times on other lines. Our first Disney cruise was 3 nights and WAY too short! Really looking forward to a longer cruise on Disney. We are in for the FE! Still have mine from our last DC 3 years ago :)

I have only taken two three nights and one of theses was BTB with a 4 night. Three is way toooooooo short. These 7 nights are great.

This is our first cruise ever. Went to Disney World last year and still cant get over it. My 22 yr old daughter and I wanted to go on a cruise and we decided on this one. Its my wife, my two daughters 22 & 8 and myslef. We are going to pull our 8 yr old out of school for a week...oh well its worth it. Doesnt look like Disney Cruise line is coming back in 2014 so were gonna take advantage now. Looking forward to meeting everyone on the fish extenders...how do you get on that by the way???? Counting down the days.

:cool1: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Hi! We're on this cruise for exactly the same reason. We usually do Disney World the last weekend of September but figure we might as well take advantage of the ship being close.

Just keep watching here for the fish extender. Someone has volunteered to put the list together, and I'm guessing she will post closer to the cruise and ask for info. Most of the fish extenders cut off about a month before the cruise, so there is plenty of time to get everything together. If the original person doesn't do it, I'll make sure it gets done...I have already started putting gifts together so I have a vested interest! :thumbsup2

There are so many great ideas out there! How to choose only one or a few to do?! LOL. I hope I don't blow all of my cruise money on FE's just because I think they're so fun.
