Question of the day:

This is for Bill so he can answer yes or no.

Do you like Rotational dining on Disney ?
I think they are the only cruise line that does this.

My Answer: Yes

Are you or anyone in your party going to dress up for Pirate night?

My answer:
- Yes, I love to dress up as a lady pirate.
- DH usually wears a pirate t-shirt, and a bandana, although he has been looking for a pirate hat to wear, so we shall see.

I, too, love to dress up as a lady pirate ... but, by special request of those dining around us ... I am often asked to wear the obligatory bandana.

So that's how you get out of doing the laundry. Next week I'll try white with red in hot water. That should keep me from having to do the laundry for a long time.

TRUE STORY ... once, I threw a load of blue jeans in the washer. I added (what seemed like) laundry detergent. Apparently, DOWNY is NOT considered a laundry detergent. At the time, Downy's label did NOT indicate it was merely a fabric softener. Nowadays, when I am asked to do the laundry, I respond with something like, "Do you REALLY want me to do the laundry?"

Do you like Rotational dining on Disney?

Absolutely! Other cruise lines have TRIED to institute rotational, but have failed miserably! I guess they cannot comprehend the idea of similar size restaurants, with matching table designations (not necessarily the same layout).

I personally believe the idea of so many alternative dining options on other cruise lines, as well as FREESTYLE, was an attempt to keep up with Disney.

So my question is, do you plan on going to the adult clubs in the evenings?

Of course we dont have young kids to care for.

we go every evening before dinner...Sessions on the Magic is an absolute favorite and we love the club chairs near a porthole! I try to get to the clubs after dinner, but usually by the time dinner is over and we've walked deck 4, we are ready to head back to the cabin and turning in. As we are such early risers (4AM dueto work, not desire) in our everyday life, we usually head to bed between 8:30 and 9. so it is Well past our bedtime. I want to pull Sulley into more in December and maybe if I can, we will be able to do so on this cruise!

True the clubs are quiet but maybe a few of us will bump into each other in the clubs after late dining ends and can have our own little meet there to liven it up.

Just dont ask me to do Karoake, that will clear the place faster than a bomb threat

If you could change one thing about DCL what would it be?

Even if this is your first cruise you've probably read enough to have something in mind you might like better if it were different or have an idea of something you wish Disney had on their ships.



My answer:

I would like Free Style Dining or Anytime Dining in the 3 main restaurants.

Other lines have this. It simply means the restaurants are open at specific times, usually an hour apart for 3 or 4 hours each evening and you can go and eat when ever you want and in any restaurant you want.
That way you can eat when you're hungry instead of when you're told to go eat and you can sit by yourself or with others.
I would like a 24 hour buffet too.

I like the rotational dining and getting to know new people. We've met very interesting people on our cruises. I also enjoy having the same servers every night and them taking good care of us, iced tea ready for me, water with lemon for DH...and I know my table will be there waiting for me and I won't run into everyone wanting to do the same restaurant on the same night at the same time and I have to wait for a table.

If I could change anything about DCL.... the coffee. I would love nothing more than GOOD COFFEE!!!! I don't mean Quiet Cove, I'm talking dining room, the beverage station....enough of that nasty NesCafe...since WDW is changing their coffee,...perhaps it will roll through onto DCL.

I think the 24 hr buffet thing is a great idea, I know my sister would love a 24 dessert buffet!

Did you choose the original room when you booked? If so give them a call and ask if you can change rooms because this is not what you booked!!! Tell them you prefer a specific side. Maybe they will change you back. It can't hurt to ask. I know I would if they changed me if I booked a specific room, not a GTY room.

I know Donald's middle name is Fauntleroy, but I have no clue about his sister so I will guess....Donna? And nickname....ummm Sissy or Dee Dee.
