I was thinking about doing that too. We'll see. It's only a 3 night cruise and we're not planning on getting wasted so I don't think we'll consume ridiculous amounts of alcohol. We learned the lesson not to do that after receiving our bill after our first cruise.

we're not planning on getting wasted either but its nice to have a glass or 2 before bed without having to pay the bar bills after! gary had a few beers a day last time and that added up to a room bill a LOT higher than i thought it'd be. think its easy to keep going "i'll have another" when you're not physically handing over money each time!

We'll probably get a couple drinks during the course of the day by the pool and probably a couple at night during the shows/parties. We usually don't get anything with dinner, maybe a glass of wine here or there. The first cruise we were buying coronas buy the bucket. Yikes.

LOL, we sound like a bunch of lushies!! We are going to bring some of our own alcohol as well, I want to bring rosa regale for the sale away (yum!!) for sure.

I'm excited for my OBC, we got $50 for paying in full with our Disney Visa, and $50 from Dreams Unlimited. Yay!!

i got a reply from the TA i used last year and they said that they wont match the OBC of dreams unlimited (oh well! worth a try!), but to be honest, i think i'll probably go with them anyway, ($25 extra would be nice but its not the end of the world), they were great last year and i know how they work and they're good.
plus the president of the TA is on our cruise! so i think i'll make the point of going to say hi.

Drinks are on Mary! Just kidding. That's great about the onboard credit. I don't know if we're getting anything to be honest. I booked us through the disney travel agent website. I'll have to look into it. I usually don't book DCL for anyone, just the Disney packages themselves.

Who was looking into the Sea Lion Encouter excursion? I know someone mentioned it. I'm thinking of doing that too. I thought it was a lot more money than it actually is. $99 really isn't bad!

It's about a 4 to 4/12 hour excursion so I figure we'll still have time to hang out on the ship before or after. Plus, you need to take a catamaran to where the excursion is being held so it's like you get a harbor cruise out of it too!

Hey Jen! It was me that was looking at the Sea Lion encounter. Plus, you get to go to the Blue Lagoon Island (where the dolphins & sea lions are), so you have access to their beach as well. It's supposed to have good snorkeling. The only thing i'm wondering is if you HAVE to go back on the boat with your group, or can you take a different shuttle. If you have to, I might book it through the company site, it's a little cheaper anyways. Have you tried the online dining thing yet? It's getting mixed reviews on the dining page. I'm curious to see how it works. The rumor now is that it will be open to the general public on the 26th.

I thought it was your Mary but I wasn't sure! That'd be great if we were in the same group! I saw on the site that it was a little cheaper but I'd rather do it through Disney because I can walk through Nassau in a big group. It's worth the extra money. I don't want to walk just the two of us because we'll have a million people coming up to us trying to sell us stuff. I hate that.

I haven't tried the dining system yet. I don't have any reservations where it's eligible to come up yet. You have to pull up the reservation and then go to the ADRs online. I'm trying it next Monday because my client will be able to make them then. I'll let ya know!

Will do. From what she's been telling me, I think she's planning on making a LOT of ADRs. She got the free dining but wants to experience any and all restaurants she can so I think she's going to have like 2 or 3 ADRs a day! And it's a 10 day trip!

thats a LOT of food!! we're going to be on the basic DDP so will plan one a day but i couldnt imagine having 3 ADRs a day!
