well since i heard from you that it was smaller i wasn't surprised but i still like it and i think it will work good from what i remember the fish isn't that big so it should work good. Why would someone be traveling to Dallas, GA unless they have family here there is nothing here now in ATL there are things to do but traffic is so bad that people tend to get mad before they get where they want to go. Its cool though that someone wants to come here. Oh they repainted my mom and stepdads house today and it looked like Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream so they picked out a dif. color hoping that it will look better. :rotfl::rotfl:

Mint chocolate ice cream? I bet that looked interesting!

So, speaking of indecisive, I was going to just rent a car to get to the port, but now since we are staying at the airport, I am thinking of taking the shuttle. Its only a little bit more, and you get to check in and everything at the hotel, and leave your luggage and everything. Something to think about!

My FE should come soon, yea! I will post a puc when I get it. Off to bed!

i'm pretty sure we'll rent a car from one of the hotels at DTD, we were going to get the DCL bus, but that means we'll have to take all our cases with us on the ship, and i dont think there'll be enough room in the room without tripping over cases all weekend. the rent a car plus the port parking, is the same price as the DCL bus, and that way we can leave some of the cases in the car.
the only indecisive bit for me is trying to decide whether to stay at BWV the night before. arghhhhh!

I just can't decide on the rental car thing!! Tim wants to get the shuttle, I think, he thinks it will be less of a hassle. Alamo has been running a lot of weekend specials though, like $10 per day...so I'm hoping that I will be able to get that, and then it will be as cheap as taking the shuttle.

I signed up to run a half marathon the other day!! :scared1::scared1: I'm doing it with Team In Training, so now I have to do a bunch of fundraising...i'm kind of nervous about it, but I think I can do it!! I'm doing it my Grandpa's honor, he died of leukemia when I was 12. Wish me luck!! My training starts in 2 weeks, and the run is in August...so, hopefully I will lose a ton of weight doing it, and look good for the Curise!! LOL!! :goodvibes

Off to lunch, we are going to Panera today. Yum!!

Lainey - They were traveling to see family. I was like 'Oh, I have a friend who lives there!' :) They were driving. That's a looooong drive.

Karen - Book the BWV! It'll be worth it for the night! And then we can all crash at your place :rotfl: Just kidding.

Mary - Good luck with the half marathon! I would collapse about a mile into it. Me and running don't mix. It I could rollerblade the thing, then I would sign up. I love Panera Bread...pick me up some k?

How is everyone's day?

i've had the most boring day, i havent really got much to do til next week so i've been trying to make a couple of really quick jobs last all day. our debtors reports normally take me about half hour to do normally, i somehow made it last 2 hours. i've just been so mind numbingly bored. thank goodness i'm home now!
i'm thinking of booking the BWV room, but not cancelling the ASM room for the night. that way i can stay at BWV and still have the nights dining credit. i'm just so short of money at the mo saving up for the holiday that i know i shouldnt spend another £60. why cant i be more decisive! i'd love a boardwalk view room but i dont think its worth paying the extra $33 as its not a guaranteed view, i'd be paying for preferred, and a boardwalk view is only a request.
mary, good luck with the marathon training. its one of those things i'll never do (i'm slightly asthmatic, and running is one of the sure fire ways to set it off), but i admire people who can and do!
i'm trying to get a bit more exercise now that the weather's getting a bit better, i still drive to work as its about 5 miles from my house, but i've been parking about 3/4 of a mile away and walking the rest. its not much but its more exercise than i've been getting recently, so thats better than nothing!

My day is going pretty good the painters are back we have changed the color now it is actualy a nice green color with a hint of gray in it and i think it will look good. Well i took pictures of our FE here it is:

greg and i love it we think it is so cute

Karen, our FE is the same style as Lainey's but the top where it says cruisin' with mickey is red and the background is red with mickey heads on it.

cool, Lainey's looks great so i bet yours does too!

now whoever said exercise is good for you is a darn liar.
i decided to be healthy after dinner, and go for a bicycle ride into the village (about 3/4 of a mile each way). havent been on a bike in years, so dug it out the garage, put my mp3 player on, and away i went. all was going well, went into the village and then turned round to come back, was ok til i got to the end of my road, stuck my arm out to signal left, wobbled a bit, hit the kerb, and fell off the bike. i'm now missing skin off both knees, my left foot, and there's a big hole in the top of my right foot. i'm kinda in quite a bit of stinging pain at the mo. why oh why did i go out for a ride in shorts? at least if i had pants on, i'd have some skin on my knees right now.
oh well, wont be doing that again any time soon! i think i'll stick to walking, there's a lot less chance of me falling over that way......

Ouch! Sorry to hear that. I haven't been on a bike in years so it should be interesting when I try to bike around Castaway Cay. The only bike I've been on recently is the exercise bike.

I used to have those kinds of injuries when I rollerbladed all the time. I used to either take nasty falls from doing stupid stuff or welts from having street hockey pucks fired at me. :scared:

cant remember the last time i went on a bike anyway, so dont know why i decided to go for a ride! i should stop trying to be healthy! its not good for you, i've never heard of anyone getting injured by a bar of chocolate! its only when people try to work off the chocolate calories, thats when the injuries happen! :rotfl:
just remember the bikes on CC dont have brakes, you have to peddle backwards to get them to stop, they didnt tell us this when we rented them and panicked a lot going down the hill round the corner from the rental place!

Yes, I remember you telling me that! I thank you for it. Otherwise, you would've seen me flying over the handle bars and into a tree.

lol, we so nearly did that!! there's a slight hill down to the runway area, we very nearly went across the runway and into the bushes on the other side!

Karen, that sounds painful!! Last year when I was walking out to my car in the parking garage, there was a HUGE sinkhole in the sidewalk and I tripped on it and went flying. I too lost the skin on my knees, the tops of my feet, my elbows, and my hands -- Ouch!! No surprise, about 1 week later our construction people were on top of that. The worst part was, I had my cell phone in my hand (wasn't talking, just carrying it), and I scratched it -- it was my brand new pink blackberry, I was so sad!! But it survived!!

I am thinking of renting bikes on Castaway Cay also. The trail looks like fun! I also want to snorkel. I've been before, but Tim has only gone at Typhoon Lagoon, and that water is so cold that he didn't have much fun. He is not a cold water boy, has to be very warm for him!!

So, my work week is almost over -- only a few minutes left!! Yea!! Then I am off to my Neices's softball game. Hopefully, my FE came in the mail today too!! I got my cruise passporter yesterday, so that was fun!! Talk to you all later!!

its a shame that they have to wait til someone injures themselves before they fix something. if its obvious that its going to cause an accident they should do something first!
i cant wait til the weekend, wish i had the option to do 4 day weeks, the weekend is never long enough!

Mary, I'm doing the 4 in 1 option at Castaway Cay. I think it's between %50-$60 and you get snorkel equipment for the day, a one hour bike rental, a stingray feeding time, and float rental for the day. I can't wait!

I have an hour and 15 minutes to go until the weekend. I took a personal day tomorrow because I'm going to Williamsburg for the weekend!

we did the snorkeling last time and it nearly killed me we thought we were gonna be tough and swim out to the EXPERT area well we forgot that the current was helping us out there and that when we were coming back in it was going to be working against us so we had to use the ropes to pull ourselves back in it was sad :lmao::lmao: so we are just gonna go to Serenity Bay and relax on the beach after our fishing excursion. I hope you have a great weekend Jen.

Yea, my FE came today...

I was surprised (though I shouldn't have been after reading Jen & Lainey's responses) at how small it was! But then I went on Ebay and checked, and they are all the same size, so I guess it's good. But I really like it, it's cute! I got a couple of iron on rhinestone transfers, one with a mickey pirate for Tim, and one with a Minnie with a flower for me. I'm going to put them on the pockets.

One time when I was snorkeling, I got a ton of stress sores in my mouth from all of the salt rubbing the inside of my mouth. It hurt like nothing to it!! Major pain!! Now, I buy my own snorkel equipment and use that. The doctor said it was just because it was used and salt got into the rubber mouthpiece a little, and I have a very sensitive mouth. They aren't like cold sores, just from like biting your lip or whatever. But still, it hurt bad (I had like 30 sores)!!

Karen, have fun at work tomorrow!! LOL. I'm kind of bummed that I'm not working tomorrow, it is Spring Cleanup day, so we get to wear jeans. We NEVER get to wear jeans (that would be the second time it 5 years), so i'm sad to miss it!!
