a couple of years ago i made mum a photobook of our dog (its actually mine and garys dog but she loves him to pieces), she loved it, well worth the price!

I was just looking at last year's MNSSHP pictures. It looks like so much fun! I absolutely cannot wait. Tickets go on sale tomorrow!

MNSSHP is super fun!! I'm excited about that to, it is my favorite party, although i've never been to the pirate and princess party since they cancelled it when i was going to go this year!!

i can hardly see, i had to have my eyes dialated at the eye doctors today. everything is so blurry!! my work hasn't banned the disboards, but even if they did, i can just go on in on my phone!! take that!! LOL

This is the only party I haven't been to and I hear it's the best one. I've heard the parade is phenomenal.

we went to MVMCP last year and enjoyed that (me more so than gary as he was ill with the man flu), but looking forward to trick or treating at MNSSHP!!
i've got a really basic phone, but gary's contract is due for renewal in june, so depending on what new phones are out at the time, he'll either be getting a new one and i'll have his nokia n95, or he'll keep that (he likes it) and i can pick a new phone. either way i can start getting the net on my phone!!

glad the day's over, the afternoon really dragged, i didnt actually do any work the last hour and a half, was just rearranging my emails and trying to look busy. that and dis-ing!!

i bought an a4 whiteboard a few weeks ago that i was going to use on our room door, had a good idea when i got home and i'm going to stick some of my little alphabet letters i bought on it and some mickey confetti, and jazz it up a bit! give it some more colour!! think i'll still put it at the top of the door though, so kids are less likely to scribble all over it (i'm going to put permanent markers instead of the whiteboard marker so people can leave messages and i thought it'd be a cool souvenir).

We went to MVMCP last November. We had a lot of fun but Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year so I'm looking forward to this more. Plus, I plan to hit every single trick or treat stop and stock up on candy!

The white board idea is really clever Karen! That will be a really nice souvenir. I'll be sure to leave a message.

hey yall sorry i haven't been on today i have been putting the bigger FE gifts together and last night i put everyone(well almost everyone's) names on their goody bags i hope yall like them i am really proud of them and so is greg. However with the bigger gift my arms are now sticky from spray adhesive and i wish now that i had used it outside so that my floor wasn't sticky looks like i will be moping today but they look good and i am almost done but i don't think they will fit in the bags so i may just sit the big ones in the FE outside of each room. Thanks Karen i needed the numbers to put on the gift bags i think it will look cute plus incase i forget(with my wonderful memory) the paper with everyones statroom numbers on it i will still know where everyone is. Well with Jen and Joe its easy they are on the same deck as greg and me.

We're practically neighbors on the ship, Lainey. I guess I need to get on top of the FE. I haven't started working on anything yet but I have plenty of ideas. I don't think my goody bag will fit into a pocket on the FE so I'll just hook it around the actual fish somehow.

i know that the bags that i got will fit in mine and your FE i measured the FE before i went to Michaels so that i would know what size bags to get and now with all the little gifts i am gonna get i am trying to make sure they are pretty flat so that they are easy to pack.

ditto, i'm not sure if my bags will fit in the FEs but if not i'll hook them off the fish itself.

the only room numbers we've got at the mo is lainey, jenny, and mikkel. me and mary are in GTY's and the rest are not known at the mo.

i'm really happy at the mo, i went on one of those price comparison sites a few weeks ago for my car insurance, and got it down to a good price. i've put the money aside in my other bank account for when its due in the first week of june. well i've just gone on a different comparison site, and the same insurance with the same company is £89 cheaper!!! thats about $125 i've just saved!!! i'm so happy!! and since i've already put that money aside, it means thats now £89 more that i can put towards the holiday!!

For setting money aside for the trip! I have a savings account that I've been putting money into from each paycheck and it's starting to add up. And I have a jar that I throw all my change into plus singles so I'll make sure I cash that before we go.

Karen, will you get a room number before we sail or do you find out when you get to the ship?

we'll find out about a month or so before.
i'm so happy, my insurance is much cheaper than i thought it'd be, until a couple of months ago (before i started getting comparison quotes) for some reason i thought my car insurance was about £800, so to get it for £346 is just soooooo great! it also means that in the next 4 months, i dont HAVE to save as much as i had to before just to be able to afford to go.
i think thats cause for a dance!!

i switched mine in december and it went from $140/month to $76/month WOOHOO I switched b/c gregs insurance was less than mine and he had 2 speeding tickets on his record and i haven't ever had a wreck or ticket so i figured that it had to be lower somewhere else.

I'm thinking of switching my insurance or at least raising the deductable so my rate is cheaper. I'm with Geico now and paying about $130/month. Maybe I'll look into it now since there's nada going on at work.

they're not on line yet, apparently for the first few days its phone only (so i've been told on the dis).
we're going to head for the 15th i think, there's an AP discount all 3 nights that work for us, but i still fancy going earlier so we can get loads of candy to nibble on all holiday!!

i'm really happy about my car insurance still, its now £346, which is about $485 for the whole year. i was looking at my little budgeting spreadsheet i've got on my computer (obsessive planner alert!!), and before i HAD to save £350 a month just to pay the balance of the holiday, let alone any spending money or anything else. gary's helping me out a bit too (he'll be able to put more money towards it when he finds a new job), so now i only HAVE to save £250 a month. yay!! its taking a lot of pressure off. now i can put more money towards spending money!! plus this time i dont think we'll need anywhere near as much spending money as we have in the past as all the food will be paid for.

We'll definitely be attending the 22nd because that's the only date that works for us! I'm just gonna wait until they are available online.

My trip is (luckily) paid off but I still need to save for spending money plus Joe and I are looking for an apartment so I'll need to have the money for a deposit. It's a month and a half's rent here and rent tends to be around $900-$1000/month for a decent place so, it adds up. To have the amount I want I need to save $355/month. It's definitely do-able!
