I'm sure you'll get one soon enough. It's a little booklet with packing tips and information about the documentation you need, as well as the ship itself. It also has brief descriptions of the shore excursions that are available. I can book mine starting July 11!

yay!! i remember being so excited last year when mine came through, i took it to work so i could read through it on my lunch break!!
hows work going? i'm glad its the weekend but i'm working tomorrow and sunday, so it could be better, but at least i get a bit of extra cash!
cor i cant wait til the holiday, i want to be in disney now!!

I want to be in Disney now too! Especially since the weather here is such crap.

Work has been pretty quiet but the people that have come in/called have been on the annoying/ridiculous side.

I had a guy call that rented a car from Hertz who wanted his money credited back because he was given a Chevy Malibu and didn't consider it a full size....even though the company does. I explained to him that he would have to take that up with Hertz and not with us but said that Hertz gave him an 'unsatisfactory answer' and expects us to refund his money, even though he's in the wrong and we didn't receive his payment, Hertz did! I'm just going to pass it on to my manager Monday.

It's supposed to rain all weekend here.

know what you mean about the idiot customers, i had them all last year when i was doing customer services. one complaint we'd get all the time was when their kids are too short for the height restrictions so they're not allowed on the ride. the parents would be adamant that theyre ok and have a go at us, saying we're being petty, but if their kids did go on the rides and fell out or something happened, we'd be the first people they'd blame.
the amount of people we get who say "well they were allowed on ...... at disney world". to which our answer is always "we're not disney world!!"
i am glad i'm not doing customer services anymore though, the constant arguments with people over non-issues just did my head in!

hope the weather gets better over there. its been lovely here today but a bit windy.

Hey!! I got my cruise packet in the mail yesterday!! Yea!! It does make it feel closer. It FINALLY stopped raining here today, after a little bit this morning. It has been raining for what seems like FOREVER.

My sister & I are going to see Ghosts of Girlfriends Past tonight. I'm excited, it looks really cute!! I have my Team In Training kick off tomorrow morning, its at 10 and about an hour away...so that is a little early for me on the weekend, LOL. I was supposed to go to my neice's softball game, but now I don't think i'll make it. She has lots more still though.

We haven't gotten our packet yet which is odd to me since we live only one state away from florida. Maybe it will come tomorrow (i hope) That makes me feell good about the day you can start booking your shore excursions since my soon to be DBIL is paying that off on our disney honeymoon registry.
The weather has been crappy all day it has been raining off and on and poor greg had to work in the Yard(train yard) from 4am til 4pm so he was soaked and tired i was working on about 3 hours sleep. We are so ready for Disney and the warm pretty weather. i'm watching POC3 right now it is making me want to go on the ride NOW since i havent ridden it in about 5 years

i'm hoping ours turns up soon too, but it'll probably take a while as it has to make its way all the way across the pond.
well i've been at work all day, normally get weekends off, but i was helping the gift shop guy out, so i've been filling and tying helium balloons for 5 and a half hours which was REALLY dull. but hey its a bit of cash and it means me and gary can go out and do something on monday. i'm helping him out tomorrow too which i dont really want to do, but its only for 5 hours.
i got home and gary had the barbeque going, so we've had some BBQ food, had a bit of garlic bread and now all i can taste is the garlic. it was sooooo strong!
my friend is at the airport right now, they fly out tomorrow, and get married on wednesday, i really wish i could have gone out for the wedding, but i couldnt afford to go this early in the year.

My weekend has been good we went to see Wolverine and loved it and my mom and I took my little brother to see the disney movie EARTH and we liked it but my poor little brother didnt make it through the movie he fell asleep but i liked the movie. I hope all of yall had a good weekend maybe our paperwork will come in next week.

glad you had a good weekend, i was working again today, but now for once i've got a bit of money so we've just been out for dinner and we're going to go out somewhere nice tomorrow (thinking cambridge or canterbury) and going shopping!!
it'll be nice to go out and not have to worry about wasting money, i can go out and buy something without feeling guilty about it!!!

havent got a clue where to go or what to do but i've got some money to do it with!!!

Hi all! DH and I saw Wolverine yesterday too! I really liked it, DH said lots of the story is different from the X-Men comics...but he still enjoyed it.

DH has finally embraced the FE exchange, and has decided he is going to make our FE. We went to the fabric store today and settled on a pirate theme, so we got all of the materials that will make up the hanging part...but he wasn't satisfied with the dowel or the knobs for the end of the dowel, so he we had to make a trip to the hardware store so he could pick up some knobs with skull and crossbones. . It's fun that he is getting into it now. I haven't added up what I have spent yet, but I have a 18 gallon storage tub that is about 1/2 full of stuff for our gifts. Which brings me to a question...are we going to have a cutoff date that people can join the FE? I have been buying two extra of everything, just to be safe, now I am wondering if that is enough, or if I should buy 4 or 5 extra of stuff.

Well, no restful weekend for me, I worked 9 hours at my part-time job yesterday and I have an 8 hour shift today....so I will catch up with you all tomorrow!

so far we've got 9 groups, i've been buying 15 of everything, just in case. we will have a cut off point, but it'll probably be about 3-4 weeks from the cruise, a lot of people dont join the meets threads til then so we need to leave enough time for latecomers to join. i'd say buy more just in case.
18 gallon tub? you must have loads of stuff!! i've been buying bits and pieces here and there to try and spread the cost a bit, havent kept track of how much i've/i'll spend on each room, think its better not to know!! lol
i'm so looking forward to having tomorrow off, i didnt realise quite how much i've gotten into the 9 to 5 monday to friday routine til this weekend. i was only helping out one of the franchisees on the park, if he had his way i'd be working for him every weekend but i've told him theres no way of me doing that, it'd kill me!! as it is i ache all over at the mo!
i'm enjoying a well deserved glass of baileys at the mo.....

since i will be REALLY busy with wedding stuff if we have people wait til the last minute to join the FE thing they prob. wont get the bigger FE gift i am making for all the cabins b/c it takes me a while to make them and i will be too busy to make any more i will prob. have all the FE gifts paked then so that i wont forget anything. Since i have a tendency to do that everyone will be getting the goodie bags but if we have people that join late they probably wont get the crafty gift i am making which stinks b/c i am really proud of them and i want everyone to get them. I have a feeling i may be just a tiny bit stressed out by that time who knows maybe i wont i am hopeing that i wont be but everyone is telling me that i will be even if all the details are done with the wedding.

Lainey - You know what they say: "if you snooze, you lose!" They should get to the boards earlier if they want your craft gift! I think I'm going to buy a dozen of everything, just in case. Some of the stuff I want to buy comes in packs of 24 so if we have late comers, they'll get the left-overs rather than a goodie bag. Late comer number 13 will be out of luck!

Joe and I went to see Wolverine this weekend too. I thought it was pretty good, except for the fact that Ryan Reynolds was only in it for 10 minutes. Joe didn't like it at all because it wasn't as good as the other X-Men movies. He just can't fully appreciate Hugh Jackman, I guess. We're going to see Earth on Tuesday night.

It's been raining all weekend and it's supposed to continue throughout the entire week. Except for Wednesday. That's complete luck because I'm going to a Yankee game that night.

Ugg, so remember how I had my vacation points all worked out for 9/20? Well, that guy apparently fell through or something. He just never emailed me back. Good thing I never paid him!! He said that he made the reservation and would email me back...but I never heard from him again!! How rude!!

However, one of my friends at work has DVC, and she rented me the points. She made the reservation for me this morning, Yea!! So it all works out in the end, and I get to rent from a friend rather than a stranger.

So I had a pretty good weekend. It FINALLY stopped raining!! I had my TNT kick off saturday, and got my training schedule. It's not SO bad, and it's nice because you have other team members to walk/run with, so you don't have to be all alone. I think my Dad is running the race also, but he is a running person, he runs in marathons and half marathons often -- so much more advanced than I am, LOL!!

I have been slacking!! Usually, I make a countdown to hang on our fridge when we have 150 days to vacation -- now there is less than that!! So I have to get on that!!

tuesday is the only day that it isn't supposed to rain here so it will be ugly all week. Yeah jen if there are REALLY late comers they wont be getting the crafty gift or even the specific goodie bags that i am doing they will have goodie bags but not the same looking ones yall will get. Ryan Ryenolds was in the end (well his mouth wasn't in the end of the movie ) Greg said after the movie that he hopes that they do the origins movie for more of the x-men the only one that i know they are talking about doing is Magneto.

I also think there was talk about doing a Xmen Origins movie for Prof. X. I don't know if I'd want to watch an entire movie about him though. He's not as cool as Wolverine or Magneto. Now, if they wanted to do one about Cyclops, I'll gladly watch James Marsden anytime.

The late-comers will get little stuff but not the goody bags I'm going to make. They come 12 to a pack and they aren't your typical kid's party goody bags so I don't want to have to shell out more money for just a couple more ya know?
