Boys! I have four! fun little pirates they are!

Hi Everyone,

Just checking in. Yea Yea Yea!!!!! exactly 1 month till we set sail :cool1:
I can now officially start packing, but since we in the Northeast are finally experiencing summer :confused3 , I need to wear all my summer shorts and tops that I will be taking with me. Looks like I will be doing :laundy: they night before we leave :sad2:

crazy weather, I am looking forward to coming back to FALL cool though, hopefully it won't be indian summer when we return! But oh the :laundy:

I am also trying to calculate hair and nail appointments and there are still some on-line purchases I have to get to very soon.

me too, not to soon or I will break/chip with all packing, not to late or I will run out of time and not get to go, and the hair, how many washes to get it to look "natural":rotfl: and yet not back to completely grey:scared1:

See you all soon

:cool1:

Checking in for final roll call!!! Yay!! :yay:

Hi, everyone! :wave2:

Paige - Thanks for posting the dining thing. I just wish we could know what our rotation is.....ditto to that Paige, once again, you rock with your organizational skills!

disneyfinatics - I totally talk with my hands too! My husband has challenged me as well! Sorry about that poor bunny.......I hope the others will be ok.

DisneyRN1 - Hi! B2B - so awesome! dis green with envy! someday. . .you enjoy though, sorry I can't answer your question though, I kept coming up with 8 available in each catagory!

Kileybeth - I'm right there with you with the money situation! Sorry about the lack of info on hubby's job! That can be nervewracking!

nervewracking is an understatement, huge life change here for us, basically retiring from one job and taking on a very challenging new one with no clear time table for either:scared1: He does get to celebrate his 25 years anniversary tomorrow:woohoo: I am very proud of him!

We are all here just doing our thing - homeschooling, packing, waiting for room assignment....:rolleyes1
Is that what i am suppose to be doing instead of playing on here?

I got a wild hair last night at like 10pm (we are all night owls and later sleepers), and decided to try some princess hairdos on the girls. Here's a picture (just with my blackberry, so really small and a bit blurry). I think it turned out fairly well, esp. since it was my first attempt, and not trying TOO hard.

princesses.jpg

that is awesome! I am lining up too. Better print tickets, and hire an assistant:rotfl: Love that you called it a wild hair!! oh night owls and late sleepers, one of the joys of homeschooling, my older kids used to tell their friends they got to sleep 'til noon and go to school in their Pj's.

They absolutely LOVED IT!!!!

can't wait to meet you!

cakesnjammom; DH learned to french braid for me for the trip (I have carpal tunnel in both hands) and my grip is poor so he was so kind to do it. He still has not gotten his hand "stance" down yet so we all have to hold a piece for him to do it tight...it is a family project  As you can tell he is a good man...and very good to me. Not many men would learn to braid said:
What a great guy![/COLOR]

As I have said it takes me a bit...but only because I am making sure that when I open up I am not going to get my feelings hurt :sad2: "once bitten, twice shy!" but none of you seem that way at all!:grouphug:
we will be kind to you:flower3:

MONKEY WRENCH - I had to order a new passporter pouch last night...we looked all over for ours and it is MIA....cannot travel Disney without it!
I need this? Never traveled with my Passport before, do tell!

Can not wait to meet you Paige!!

Checking in for roll call! I am sooo ready to go! :cheer2: However...life has thrown a few bumps in the road at us... My friends dh is not going, and she's trying to find a way to get a refund for him. And my dh is upset that he's not going, and doesn't want to be a third wheel, since we usually leave the dh's home, while we take the kids. And lastly, he just found out that he has been scheduled to work an hour commute away...nights....while my friend and I are on our "Mom's Only" portion of our trip at WDW. So, my dd will have to stay with someone while he works nights that week, and will hardly see him while I'm gone. Poor thing, I feel for her already! :sad1: I know things could always be worse, but... ;)

Jody-So glad you are home and wishng you a speedy recovery.

LoriS-Your girls hairdos are really cute. Can I make an appt w/you for formal night?

Dennis-Please share the updated Magic info with us when your family returns.

What a nice group we have!

Checking in too..and this a doubly extra special: if the flight is on time, DH will be IN THE COUNTRY in about an hour or so. from this minute.. Alas, he won't be Home yet, he still has to do stuff in San Diego first..

but having him on the same continent for the first time in eight months is a good start! :lovestruc

So excited for you Mrsjvb!! He will be home in no time now! :yay:
Welcome to our newcomers:grouphug: as well! So much to do, so little time now! I just can't get off my computer! I just got back armed with more printer ink... :rolleyes1

Sorry about all that! Bumps in the road, but it will work out fine!

wonderful news!!

Happy One Month until the cruise to all of you! My DH and are super excited to be joining you. We have only ever been on the Wonder so we can't wait to check out the Magic. The closer the cruise gets the more I get OCPD (Obsessive Cruise Planning Disorder). It really should be an official disorder!!

Yay!!! :yay: I am so happy for you! I can't imagine my DH being away like that, either! Tell him thank you for serving our country and making such a big sacrifice to do it (until I can tell him in person!!)

Obviously I am getting nothing done today:rolleyes1

Just thought I'd mention that our cruise just showed up on Travelzoo's top 20list today for $599 per person soooooo. . we are obviously not anywhere near full ya think?

and there are FL resident and military discounts we also know about. My guess is this is the least expensive Disney cruise you could take all year long!

Now to keep the hurricanes away, we are all either very frugal, very smart or very lucky! Maybe all of the above!

I can not wait to see what rooms we each land in, should be interesting!

When I spoke to DCL last Thursday, he told me that the cruise was almost sold out.

Checking in for roll call. I was just saying at work how the days are starting to drag on but I am sure I will also be wondering where the days went when it is time to pack :rotfl2: I am still working on my FE gifts. My sister is worried that I wont get them done but I assure her I will even if I am working on them up until the last minute. :rotfl: Just because she finished the FE, 3 costumes for pirate night and a skirt for me doesn't give her a reason to worry. :rolleyes1

Jody - Glad your surgery is over and take it easy until the cruise!

I can't remember who posted that they wanted to upgrade to a cat. 8 but I wanted to let you know that we just went from an 8 to a 6 for the verandah so there is a cat. 8 open now lol It seems the upgrade offers are $300 so it's a good deal! My sister wanted a verandah to begin with but I didn't think I would be able to afford it. I told her it was a part of her birthday gift as her birthday is 2 days before we sail. :lmao:

Well, that's about it! Can't wait to meet everyone and I hope that those of you without cabin numbers find out soon!

SEE YOU IN A MONTH
