Ahhh...another beautiful day dawns and I am still at WDW...I wake up with a smile. I start over toward the drapes to let the sunrise in and that is when I hear it...the little whistle like sound...and it's coming from "Aladdin". Sure enough, he was sick. Lungs whistling in your sleep kind of sick. NOT the kind of thing that can be ignored. So I wake dh to make his listen (why do I do this...what good does it do...I don't know but I do it anyway). We call down to the front desk and get the name of a reputable, yet close to the resort, clinic where we can take "Aladdin". The clinic opens at 9:00 AM...that's almost three hours away so dh falls back asleep while I sit and listen to my poor baby's lungs and worry. Now I know that the sun must have risen just like every other day...but I didn't really notice. I was too busy being worried. Even worried moms get hungry

and so I went to the fridge and grabbed my half eaten slice of cake (yum F&FC chocolate cake) and had a quick (yet way good) morning treat.
Soon it was time to wake dh and "Aladdin" (no need to get the other two up just yet). Upon waking "Aladdin" once again said "I don't feel right". We informed him that he would be going to the doctor instead of MK this morning and the face he made just broke my heart.

He knew he was sick and had to go in but he didn't want to miss out on one minute of the fun we had been planning together for months. I assured him that just as soon as we got him the help he needed and the doctor was okay with it, we would have him back in the parks in no time flat.
So, as sad little "Aladdin" and dh set off for the doctor's office I sat there wondering what the rest of our vacation would hold. I took the time to journal what had happened so far so that this (the trip report) and later our scrapbook would be full of as many details as possible. Well, as I sat there writing down what great things had already happened, I "got better" and my attitude improved. How could I be even a little disappointed? We had already had such a magical time that even if we were unable to spend another hour in a park, we would have already had one of the most magical vacations ever. So that fact understood...I sat there happy (yet still worried about "Aladdin"). I made a few phone calls and talked with family and friends about what a great time we were having. I sorted out the many items we were already collecting. I repacked the dirty clothes into ziplocs. Finally, the little boys woke up and we took our time getting ready for the day. WHERE ARE THEY!!??

My worry was starting to grow...why was it taking dh and ds so long??!!
That question was answered 3 hours after they first left. Finally dh and "Aladdin" were back. Turns out "Aladdin"'s lungs were "acting up". They gave him a breathing treatment and put him on steroids and an antibiotic just in case. Poor kid. Having asthma is just no fun at all. However, both dh and "Aladdin" assured me that the doctor gave him the okay to return to his regularly scheduled vacation...WOO HOO

Magic Kingdom, here we come!!
By the time we had grabbed a quick bite to eat, it was time to head down the path to the Magic Kingdom. As we walked along the path we saw loads of lizards skiting about. This made my creature loving crew pretty happy. We tried to get some good pictures of the little fellas but they were quick little buggers and none of them came out so well.
By the time we finally walked through the turnstyle it was 1:00 PM. Not the 8:00 AM breakfast with Pooh and company that we had been aiming for, but not the day spent caring for a sick child I had expected after hearing him that morning either. Just that one breathing treatment had helped him a WHOLE lot!!
Our first order of business this day? To see the new pirate show outside of PotC. Upon inquiring we learned it would be starting shortly, so we quickly made our way over to Adventureland and asked the CM at the start of PotC where the show would take place. That knowledge in hand and the wait time being only 5 minutes we took our second ride through pirate infested waters. The new additions to the ride were no less fun this time then the first. Really, Capt. Jack looks so real! Disney really outdid themselves on those figures!
Once off of the ride we lined up to wait for the show (which was to begin in a few minutes). When we saw Mack

(I think that was his name) come out we got ready to "run for the rope". Not run, but we knew from reading the board that the kids (if they wanted a chance to take part in the show) needed to walk quickly to the rope circle (another great tip gleaned from the DIS boards). Dh and I hung back. We wanted to give other kids a chance to get close to the fun. The boys had so much fun watching this show! "Look it's the governor's daughter!!" I don't know how many times I have heard that line since my boys watched the show! Upon the shows conclusion some of the children around the circle were chosen to join those who had participated in the show to be sworn in as part of Capt. Jack's crew. "Goofy" was chosen for this honor by Capt. Jack himself. "Goofy" was so excited to be part of the crew

and when they gave him his very own proclamation from Capt. Jack he was over the moon!!
Pictures will be added as soon as they are found.
