9/10/2012 ~ 6 WONDERful nights ~ VC to L.A.

We are on this cruise too! It's our first Disney cruise and we have 3 nights in Anaheim when we dock. We live in Vancouver and are very excited!

I can't believe it is almost here! We are set for cabin 1044 on the lowest deck!

I have sent a request to join the facebook group - Helen Harries

Welcome! The post sounds so familiar! My bf and I live in Vancouver and are also spending three night in LA after, only 39 days! If your interested in participating in the Fish Extender let me know :)

I'm waiting for someone to write about the "fish exchange" and see how many people pounce on 'em! :rotfl2: I was considering giving everyone a can of tuna just to see them shake their heads and say "shoulda been more specific." I'm thinking of hanging a plastic fish from the Fish Extender because I like irony. ;)

I found a hop-on hop-off tour in SF that looks pretty good:

Does anyone have a company in mind for this type of excursion? With Alcatraz, these guys are $40 per person cheaper than AAA. I've got 4 so that's some savings.

Maybe I should start packing!!!!

Oh, I routinely call it Fish Exchange LOL !!! All of my extended family who are not going on the cruise and have no other knowledge of this even know what I"m talking about now<hee hee> :rotfl2:

Thanks for that link, I think you posted it before. After you posted it before I was looking up other tour bus options and it looks like a lot of them don't actually cross the bridge, so I like this one. Looks like that's probably what we will be doing and using as our transportation in SF for a couple of days.... Are we the only ones not too interested in going to Alcatraz? Personally I'm pretty excited about Golden Gate park and all the miscellaneous little touristy stops along the route. (lombard street, cable cars etc) We have a friend who lives in the vicinity who may even come and play tourist with us yay!....
:thumbsup2

Also, :cheer2: :cool1::cheer2: look how close the ticker is to the end now!!!!! :jumping1:

(sorry, I'm just that excited)

Wooo!!!:banana::banana: I can't wait to get mine... I'll have to go in to see my agent to get them maybe in a week or two

We got our park tickets and made some dl dining ressies and ordered the photopass + pretty much all prepared getting really exited! I want to start packing soon! Seems so close yet so far! Lol

DW is checking with travel agent on cruise docs, dining rotation and our transportation options to LAX and back from the port. It is a little strange as we are leaving Friday evening but I am working that day. Plan is to have car service pick up DW from the house with all luggage and then have car service swing by on the way to the airport to pick me up.

I would love to take the day off but I am starting a new position (just found out yesterday) in a couple of weeks so ... Not going to happen. In fact, I am pretty lucky to get the cruise week off. It was looking like DD17 was going to have a mother/daughter vacation for a little while there. We seem to be past that now so DW and I are back to planning!

My family will be on the cruise. We live in San Diego and are excited about visiting Vancouver Look forward to see you all in about 1 month.

Hey Kathy and Richard, we live in San Diego too! Good to meet you. We're in La Mesa, which I realize is viewed by North County people as "West Lakeside." :rotfl2: We're flying out of Long Beach because SAN was double the price. Go figure. See ya on board!

Our TA will be on vacation until the 24th so we have to wait until then for our docs. Am very excited to see them!

Welcome Kathy, Richard, and daughters! It is great to have you on board! See you in less than a month. It is going to be a blast!!!

Please can we be added to the FE list? Just sneaking in before the deadline. :)

Judith (30) and Roy (32) I can't give you my stateroom number as its GTY. We will be given it when we arrive. Will this be a problem?:confused3

Welcome Judith and Roy! :banana::banana::banana:

I know some folks who travel GTY do get their stateroom # prior to sailing, but if you don't, you can let us know at one of the meets (still in planning stages, but at last discussion we were having one at 3pm on embarkation day, and one at 10am on the 11th).

Also, one of the members of our group will have a white board on their door where you can update your stateroom number.

Do you Facebook? We have a pretty active facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/164554590317363/

Thankyou glad we can be part of the FE. This is our first Cruise and we are both sooooooooo excited with the days counting down! Yes I am on the facebook page do I need to update the FE list on facebook myself?

I went ahead and added it to the one on FB, and Tinkerbell will take care of the one here. Can you check to make sure everything is correct? If not, edit away!

We are SO excited for this cruise!

We did the reverse cruise last May (2011) and loved it so much that we decided to book the opposite direction!

We have two boys -7 & 9 years old and they are super excited about The Oceaneer's Lab, the shows and, of course, THE FOOD!

We are from Calgary, Alberta and are looking forward to visiting San Francisco again and enjoying the amazing service on the Wonder!

How do we sign up for this meet up?

Lisa
