9/1/07 Eastern on the Magic... Anyone else?

How funny! We actually contacted him 1st on a reccomendation and he was already booked! Obviously by you Joyce operates the same way.... for example, we told her one of our "must see" stops is Maho so we can see one of the planes land.. we are really excited about being able to see so many things on St. Maarten. We'll have to be sure to meet up afterwards and swap stories!

Ha, I booked Bernard for St Maartin so this DCL sailing has the most mentioned guides booked! We're on a group tour, though, so who knows, might be with some others from other ships. Not expecting a lot of crowds b/c slow season, really hope it doesn't rain.

So what time does everyone plan on getting to the terminal. We are flying down the day before, prolly will do KSC for the entire day then head to hotel by the terminal. Will run DW and DD to terminal, unload the rental car, have them check in, while I return the rental car to Avis. Plan on doing this between 9:30 and 10 am, of course give or take a few mins! We are hoping to get group 1 boarding!

Well, I'm planning to get us there by 10-ish. Since we've never been there before I presume to give myself 30mins of bumbling to get where I'm supposed to go before the terminal is open hehe...

We fly in very early Friday morning, my grandfather is buried in a small town on the gulf side so we thought we would rent a car and put some flowers on his grave-we don't have anyfaimly in the state anymore so the occasion does not arise often. Then we were thinking we would head to downtown disney. Get a little dose of pixie dust without the rat race and then head to our hotel at the port. I would like to get to port around 10-10:30, where DH will drop us before returning the rental.

We're flying into Orlando on Wednesday afternoon, doing MK and then Art's Shuttle is picking us up on Saturday morning! Woo Hoo!!

In case you aren't reading both threads thought I would let you know there is a scheduled launch the night before we sail out of Cape Canaveral. It is scheduled between 8:30pm and 1:30 Am. Hopefully we can see it from the port. Worth a shot for those of us that will be in the area August 31st.---29days

Our party includes: Myself, DBF, DS (18), DS (13), and my Mom! Mom and I did the Western cruise last September and are SO EXCITED for the Eastern! This will be a first cruise for my boyfriend and my sons. We are celebrating graduations and birthdays for both of my boys...They are really excited for this new experience and to meet some new friends...

I just can't wait to get another Konk Kooler

WOW... sold out huh? I thought Sept is supposed to be a slow season being hurricane season and all...

I guess I should prepare for a really busy ship then...

Nope, no upgrade... not even an assignment yet...

OK - who's packing?

I am doing the majority of my packing this weekend because we're leaving on Wednesday (woo hoo!) My toiletries are all organized and packed up, all the clothes for everyone are in good shape and most just need some pressing and I have an entire bag of shoes for all 5 of us!!

Where is everyone else standing?
