Thanks for reminding me. I has almost forgotten that today was Wednesday with all of the work. Somehow I missed Tuesday, LOL! Now I can tell my daughter she will meet Mickey in 2 weeks!

It really is pretty mind boggling that two weeks from today we will all be stepping on to the Magic. For as many months as we have been planning, it is crazy to think it is almost here. The DH and I are both in desperate need of this two week vacation. So if see two over worked, worn out, frazzled Texans walking around Barcelona; you will know its us.

I can't believe it. I have been having a nightmare that since I haven't slept due to the excitement, I hope I don't crash once I finally get to my stateroom.

I know that feeling, we booked this vacation 2 YEARS ago on a Halloween cruise! We leave 1 week from tomorrow (OK,Scott and the kids leave 1 week from tomorrow, I leave 1 week from Friday, but I'm rounding ) and I'm so ready to go! I just need to get ready to go if you know what I mean!

Since I booked the cruise last minute, I got the Disney air arrangements because it seemed reasonable. Flying out the 7th on Delta and returning the 18th on US Air.

DW and I were talking about things we like about Barcelona.... If this is your first visit, try and make time for the fresh market on Ramblas. It is a remarkable sight. We just like to walk through and take pictures. Also, there are quite a few counter service cafes.
Located on the west side of Ramblas, all kinds of fresh fruits and veggies, meats, seafood, and candy!!! yes lots of Candy!!!! We will need the sugar for all of the ports that we will visit!!!

How about eating our way around the MED!!!

Another site to see.... City Hall, I think it was built in the 13th century! And there is no charge to visit!!! It is nice to see something older than me!!!

Montserrat, is a wonderful day trip, we plan on going again on Monday. Short train ride and well worth the trip. IMHO

Sagrada Familia, is interesting from a religious and archectitual standpoint.

Anyone else have anything to add to the list of things to do?

We are trying to get out of work mode, and into vacation mode. Even though we have been there before, we always find new and exciting things to see and do.

Look out Barcelona.....DISers are coming!!!!!!

LESS THAN 2 WEEKS! I'm almost freaking out! DH is on business and gone basically till Sept 2 & I'm trying to get EVERYTHING done with the two munchkins. Oh, and last weekend, we drove 10 hours to pick up DH and then another 3 to hit Pensacola Beach for old time's sake. I needed it though, a vacation from the vacation planning

And I've been trying to find a place to rent a lens for my DSLR but can't find a place, so now am debating buying one, but they're not cheap! Sigh... why do we beat ourselves up over the details? I do have a lesson scheduled with an instructor before we leave to help me get the most out of whatever I end up going with.

I have the piles of stuff too... working on getting more laid out soon. I feel like my life is a giant to-do list right now, lol.

First ... I'm digging but not finding where we decided exactly where we'd do the met and greet.

Second ... spoke to EaglesWingKS last night for about 3/4 hour and giggled and laughed and planned our way around the ports, etc. Any of you lucky enough to meet these ladies ... and especially take the TA with them and our friends John and Susan MUST be prepared to laugh and get ready for the most outrageous inside jokes - all clean of course.

Beware cheap wine offerings, folks!

Making last minute plans. Waiting on two pieces of mail that have things for our trip. To make it even more stressful we are throwing our daughter's 3rd Birthday 2 days before we fly. But it will all be worth it when we get on that boat.
