So what was the conclusion?

We still haven't decided. See, we are doing a big family shin-dig from the 24th to the 30th. My boys, DH and myself are arriving on the 20th, give or take a day (or two, and it will be give, not take ) so we are trying to decide if it's worth it for the 6 days with my sister and her family to be on the plan. They'll slap the 18% no matter what because we're a group of 12. We won't do it from the 20th to the 24th, because we'll be at SOG and they don't let us do it. So, we're still undecided.

Well, since Waldo and TE joined us, that makes us a group of 6, which like you said, they'll slap the 18% on us automatically. I'm not happy with the changes - since I'd rather have a salad before my meal, than a dessert after, KWIM? That said, I think no DDP is a better for us. Also, there were some days where I just didn't feel like eating anymore, but had to since we'd already paid for it - I hated that feeling! So, to ask your question, I think we're still on the NO side of the fence.

I would say Mike will have his best days out by Feb 1st. He got a lot of grief for being late on June's best days, and I noticed July's days were out promptly, if not early. I'm sure August will follow suit. I'm ready - bring it on baby!

I wouldn't add the DDP until the very last minute....that is if you decide on the DDP. My hope is that it's popularity will decline enough to force some changes. I doubt they would do it mid year, but you never know.

Pic please? I did get some blank t shirts to make a couple of shirts. Micahels had them on sale 5 for $10. I got 4 for Jimmy and 1 for Andrew. Yes, I am going to try the make your own shirt thing again. Maybe if I actually follow the instructions this time they will turn out better

LTT = Liberty Tree Tavern - I'm disappointed you didn't know that. Thanksgiving = man food = stretchy shorts = GUD.

So, as we know, I have thoughts of a 5 night/6 day reservation for all of us from 8/20 to 8/25. School in NH starts 8/27.

D said that I could bring the boys alone if he can't get time off - my thoughts for that are 8/21 to 8/24 or 8/25. POP instead of AKL.

IF the big deal thing happens, the boys would start school 8/18. That would mean a mere late arrival 8/22 (missing the TL meet) and leaving 8/24. We'd be looking at a 2 hour drive. Probably POP there as well - unless I get FL resident AP's and can find some sort of fantastic rate.

The "advice" part comes into booking. Should I go ahead and book anything at this point, or do the wait and see approach? I'm fully able to cancel until something like July, right?

Should I book AKL for the 4 of us - the ideal trip, or something else? Is it likely to be booked if I wait?
