Hi.
A friend of mine was on the wait list for BCV points and was called today (Labor Day). There were 182 April Use Year points left (which he bought) and 800 September Use Year points available (which he did not buy). He was told that the 800 points just "came on". Thought those of us thinking about adding on may be interested in this info.
Aside from people not completing contracts, how do points appear like that? Is there some shifting between use years to consolidate or is it strictly buy-backs from ROFR and contracts fall throughs? Anyone know the innerworkings? There is a finite amount of points, right?
