Help!

I need to make reservations for 8 dinners at DisneyWorld. We are all vegetarians, although my husband will eat fish.

We have 3 little kids, so need kid-friendly options (food and atmosphere), but my husband and I are real foodies and want great dinners as well!

Suggestions?

Wow! That is a tall order!

I'm not a huge meat eater, but I do enjoy seafood and have somewhat of a sophisticated palate.

You may run into a problem with the kid menus, vegetarian choices will be relegated to basically mac and cheese. You may find more appealing options by ordering appetizers for the kids.

The best advice I can offer is to look at all of the menus posted online and decide what sounds most appealing to your family. Sorry I can't be of more help to you!

My 10-year old daughter is a vegetarian (we are not) and I have to tell you that the vegetarian kids options are pretty lame. Most of them are mac n cheese, cheese pizza and spaghetti with marinara. The counter service choices are even worse with PB&J being the best option. When my DD was younger I would pack my own PB&J into the park so we could eat where we wanted to and she always had a meal.

I would start over on All Ears. There is a whole section about vegetarian dining: http://allears.net/din/dining.htm . They also have up-to-date menus to look at.

Off the top of my head, I would suggest Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and Yak and Yeti at Animal Kingdom. Boma is a buffet with a large variety of vegetarian dishes. A chef will actually take you through the buffet and let you know that is safe for you to eat. My daughter got a nice kids meal of Vegetable Lo Mien at Y&Y and they allowed me to add tofu for about $2 more. I've also heard that the chef at 'Ohana makes a great vegetarian dinner. Here is a review of restaurants from a pair of vegans: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2270539

a vegetarian but I sometimes go meatless. Based on what I have seen Boma, Crystal Palace, Tusker House, Restaurant Marrakesh, Tutto Italia and even Ohana are good choices.

As mentioned above, kids' choices are limited. You may want to make some ADRs at buffets so the kids can eat off the "adult" selection.

A couple to start you off:
Sci-Fi (besides the veg dish listed, which my husband loved, they have a veggie burger)
Jiko (a little fancy, but by DH called the manager over to tell her how awesome the veggie option was and compliment the chef's creativity) and/or Boma
Magic Kingdom: Columbia Harbour House hummus sandwich, or Golden Oak Outpost veggie wrap
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons, or Morocco
Animal Kingdom: Picnic in the Park (only 1 veg sandwich option, but lots of sides), but the atmosphere is great and kid-friendly at both Pizzafari (pizza, duh) and Restaurantosaurus (veggie burgers)
Studios: Um ... I suggest eating elsewhere (except for breakfast) or doing a TS (besides Sci Fi, I've seen good reviews of the ratatouille at 50s PTC)

For characters, Cape May breakfast, Crystal Palace, or maybe Tusker House

Don't know what the options are anywhere for kids, unfortunately
