8 to Universal

We will be a party of 8 going to Universal from CBR and back. I know we can use the Mears shuttle. That will be $160.

My question: Is this the most economical way for us to get to Universal apart from public transportation?

Well there's always walking or hitchhiking!

I would think that 2 taxi's might be cheaper than $160.
Or have you priced 2 rental cars for 1 day (24 hours) or even a rental van?

Call a vehicle for hire company that has the vans. You might try Murray Hill or Wheelers. You can both on the Orlando International web site under vehicles for hire.

I found Tiffany Town Car. They provide a private van shuttle for 12-15 people for $90 round trip.

Has anyone used any of these services - I would assume there are more.

Much less than $160 for the 8 of us on Mears and we wouldn't have to share.

I am going to call Mears though to see if they have rates for a private van,
