Hi everyone....well, it's only taken me about 3 weeks to get the photos online but if you wish to take a look at our 8/3 Magic Cruise Western you are welcome to.

I was going to try and do a written trip report, but after MtDewBuzz's fantastic one for 8/3 mine will pale in comparison. I'll stick to the pictures....

Thanks for all the nice comments. It was our first time using our new digital camera and it seemed to work out great.

The only thing I encountered that was problem was going from the A/C of the ship out into the humidity. I had to wait a bit for the lens to clear before I could take the pics.

We really did have a fantastic time. It was our first family vacation since 9/11 and my hubby is Port Authority Police and this has been in his first time off since then. He really needed the downtime.

The Magic was still there, even after six DCL cruises.

Thanks for posting your photos, they are great..and it looks like you had a great time. We are going to do the Western cruise next April and after seeing your phots, I am even more excited!
I am sure this was a well needed holiday especially after what your Husband has been involved with since last Sept, and it I am happy for you that you were able to have what looks like a very nice time.
The 'Magic' is not just the Ship or the Cast Members, its what the people bring on board with them and share with others.

I have never seen any pictures at Capt Marvins. Now I can see the water is really that clear blue - I just cannot wait.

Beautiful looking family. We were on the Magic one of the past trips with you. We'll be on #3 on 2/1/2003, Western. You helped us adjust to our 152 day count-down.

By the way, a long time back, I read on these boards that you can put those silicon(e?) packets (the ones they put in the shoe containers), into your camera case to absorb the moisture. Try this next time. I love my digital camera - they make pictures on-line so much enjoyable.
