We head down Sunday, and while we know the resort (POR), we obviously don't know room number. Which service is the easiest to use (we are just looking for bottled water, and monster)? If I understand correctly, we can do this in advance, they deliver to Bell services (for a fee) and they will bring it to the room when we are ready?

If we add on any booze, is one better than the other? We'd probably just do beer at most. Thank you!!! We did this years ago, but you had to go pick it up and lug it yourself back then:-). I believe things have changed.

We usually use Instacart. They deliver to Bell Services. You can order on your way down and they will store it. Never thought of having Bell Services deliver to the room. Be aware, however, if you are getting booze, you actually have to be there and show ID to the driver.

You have to meet for alcohol. You can ask bell services for assistance back to your room but most hotels allow you to borrow a luggage cart (not YC/BC though, learned that the hard way lol).

Who is the easiest? I’ve tried a variety, to me no one stands out. Do one that allows you to pick alternatives in case your first choice is out and you don’t happen to catch the in the moment notice. In general they notify you a bit about the order status and drop it at bell services, there just isn’t that much interaction.

Bell services will deliver to your room for a grocery fee of like $6-8 fyi (you are expected to tip on top of that though).

We're not getting any alcohol, so that's not an issue. So best is Instacart? I agree, in terms of them being easy. And I like that they have a special help line for seniors, which I am. A few years ago, when we were going with DS and family, we had groceries delivered for the first time, and since DS recommended them, that's who we used. However, because I thought they were very expensive, I thought I'd try someone else this time. But maybe they're worth a little more, since they seemed easy. Any other easy, but less expensive ones? And any hard to navigate ones I should avoid?

I would vote no for Instacart as a first choice. They have a habit of cancelling our orders to resorts, and you order may sit in a trunk of a vehicle for long time. They also have higher prices for almost all items.

We have been happy with Kroger Delivery when staying at WDW. They have a fleet of customize refrigerated trucks, and they pull stock from a massive distribution center so a good selection is always easy.

Start here and enter the Zipcode of your resort to get started. link: https://www.kroger.com/rp/grocery-delivery?selectedState=FL (you can order right from your web browser or use the Kroger app).

My second choice would be Walmart, they have a number of nearby stores around WDW. The Walmart app is easy to use.

I plan to use Kroger Delivery for our stay in December. Have you ordered any produce (bananas) or fragile items such as eggs? Those are the items that lead me to want to choose my own, to make sure they’re not bruised or cracked, but we plan to use a car service from MCO to BWV, and I’d really like to skip the grocery stop.

Yes, and bananas are always iffy, often too green, too ripe, and sometimes just right. Other things like grapes or strawberries have been fine. We have never ordered eggs from any delivery service.

Since you are going to BWV for a DVC stay, I would suggest you might want grab those (2) items from the Screen Door General Store where you can make your own selection.

We used Instacart last week---no problems. Our order actually beat us to the hotel due to our luggage taking so long to come in from our flight to the carousel. However, I asked our instacart delivery person left our bags at Bell Services, which we were able to grab 20 minutes later. I asked for her to make sure the few refrigerator items were in one bag to be kept cold. I would recommend downloading the instacart app so you can better communicate through the chat there with the person filling your order.

In terms of Kroger delivery, here to say that I use this on a weekly basis at home. No problems with items like eggs or anything else for that matter. One time I did get some strawberries that had a few inside which were moldy---I just noted it on the app and they refunded me for them. I've also used Shipt through Target before too, however Target sometimes has basic items out of stock which is why I opted for Instacart to use Publix this time.
