Hi Jeff: I am sure the repo will show a big difference in price between cat. It just seemed for reg. cruise it was only a couple hundred difference for a cat 5 or 6. It is only 3 of us cruising this time. The one thing WE do know is we would like a verandah and a cat. 6 would do just fine.

It is good to see you on this thread Tina. The more familiar faces the better. :thumbsup2

Oh, it's even worse for some of us! I'm about 5 years younger . . . we had Leif Garret ! :rotfl: Followed by Duran Duran & Wham! It is amazing anyone my age ever grew up to marry a man who looked like a, well, MAN!

:rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

excuse me Captain, sir, but last I heard your compass didn't point north.

You are undoubtedly the worst pirate I have ever heard of.

Its not north me compass be pointing , but to what one desires the most my luv...

I see we made it 1000,um pirate: . I left at page 61 this am and glad you guys only made it this far. I don't think my eyes could've gone too more further.:surfweb:

DisneyVegas1, My DD will be out your way on the 30th to join her fiance. He is there for some training. I wouldn't be surprised if the have Elvis do the deed. :bride: They've been talking about this for ever and changing their plans.

Andy, hope you make the post on Wed.

There is always the Drive Thru Chapel ....:car:

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I am nervous too, and hope that we can get the rooms we want, especially with this popular cruise. Our situation is a little tricky, so I will just have to keep my fingers crossed for the staterooms we want, and hope it won't break the bank too much!! :confused3

DisneyVegas1, I was born and raised in Vegas. I have all of my family that still live there all over from Henderson, to North Vegas, so we still visit all of the time.

Sounds like a Pre cruise meet to me ...LOL were you born at Sunrise , Womens or UMC or Valley Hospital ???

pirate:

Agreed. We had the Roy in August for our DD and it only cost me $7,000. The repo will probably be over $20,000.

WOW the ROY for just 7,000. for the DD WHat a Deal ...we had it in June of 06 and we paid about 12 or 13 ....

It was nice to have the DIS meet in Greet in there ...We had a small group of Disers compared to the Dec Double Dip we went on ..

pirate:

I should have know better. Why did I have plans this weekend that kept me away from the DIS? It took me almost 2 hours to catch up to you all. :scared1:

I don't doubt that we'll be able to get on this cruise. I just am starting to doubt that I'll get the particular rooms I'm hoping for.

Question for those that have done a PC cruise. Is there a particular side of the ship that provides a better view during the crossing?

Now, bring me that horizon.

CRASH.......I'm taking the kids to Disneyland for our Spring Break (March 22) and since we have teens, we're (breaks my heart!) ditching the Grand Californian for the DLand Hotel and a one bedroom suite ( so that we'll have two bathrooms).
Know where I kind find some pics of those?? Looked on the DLand DIS and came up empty!

I have to say that as much as I love Disneyland and the GCH, they are not very FAMILY FRIENDLY with their rooms.....especially the suites. They're all geared toward meetings and not families. :headache:

I googled some stock images... here they are plus I figure if I had known I might have run through on the monorail and snapped photos of a 1 bedroom suite for you. We have cause for doin' all sorts of unlikely things. AND... maybe I'll be going back to DL on superbowl sunday ... or certainly in the month of February. When I do - I'll try to swing through IF I can... and I'll PM the info to you. That is - if I don't google an image of the 1 bedroom for you...

In the mean while - here are the images I found:

Above - a "Bucaneer suite"... below are standard suites/rooms. If your ONE bedroom suite is "standard" as opposed to being a theme bedroom - then maybe this is the type of appearance you can expect.

OK... here I've found 6 pages of photo album links with just photos of the Disneyland Hotel - and from the DIS! Try this link....

OK, who needs a good laugh?

Hazel left the house at 5:45 to go to church tonight, Angelina had a birthday party to go to at 7:30, so I stayed home to walk her over to her friends house a few blocks away. OK, here goes: I get Angelina halfway there and realize I picked up my cell phone and wallet, but "NO" house keys. It's 30* outside and the wind chill factor is in the teens. I tried to call Hazel, but since she is in church her cell phone is on vibrate and "IN" her pocketbook. It's 7:15 by now, and I know church won't let out until near 8:00

Luckily, I had on my ski cap, my very warm heavy work coat with hood, gloves, and of all things, my new Goofy bedroom slippers that just arrived on Friday. That's what I get for not putting on better shoes for the walk.

I arrive back home at 7:30 and start walking around the backyard to keep warm, then I nestle up against a big oak tree that is covered with ivy to try and block the wind. It did help by the way, LOL!!!

Finally, at 7:55 my cell phone rings, it is Hazel calling, church was almost finished, but she said something (thank you Lord) told her to check her phone. Hazel went out in the hallway, heard one of the five messages I left, called me back, and headed home. She arrived home at 8:20, and I am now back in the house, none worse for the wear, except for :cold: frozen piggies, LOL!!! :rotfl:

Whew!
Glad to hear you SURVIVED! We need you at the helm of this juggernaught!!! Otherwise - who knows where we'd all end up?

My family is there for the repositioning back to Florida, just got back from 7 day Western, already booked a dummy date, waiting to transfer my ressie when the dates open up.

I am starting to realize that I am about to enter a whole new level of insanity. One I am actually looking forward to.

Many people already think that my addiction to this forum is a little "out of hand", but this thread (I have a gut feeling) is about to push me to a whole new plateau of "Is there something wrong with you?" and I am okay with that.

We are 82 weeks away, approximately 18 and 1/2 months to go, and "the ride" has just started so all I can say is "buckle your seatbelts" because this is going to be a whole lot of fun!!!

I love thepiratezone.net ! I'm sure we'll hear from others soon.:lmao:

Do you think we can do a bulk order for lime green carpal tunnel wrist braces? I think I'm gonna need one of those by the time we sail!

So now we'll all be the walking wounded DIS pirates who TAKE WHAT WE CAN!!!!

Bite your tongue!
....I've been wearing a lovely black wrist brace since 2 weeks before Thanksgiving! And most likely will be wearing it for a good long time...unless the doc does what he threatened, and puts a cast on my wrist.
I fell, landed on my hand/wrist, and damaged the tendon just below my thumb. I would have been better off had I broken the wrist!
