Hey all - just noticed on the travel channel next saturday 6-7pm I think) is a Top 10 Beaches special - Mexican Riveria Beaches, Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco and Puerto Vallarta beaches will be featured. Enjoy!

:cool1: Thanks for the heads up!:cool1:

I've been keeping a little journal of the whole process that I will someday share with my son or daughter. ;)

That is something that all of you will treasure. :goodvibes I have pulled out the journals that I kept for both of the kids when I was pregnant & on & off after they were born. I wrote like I was talking to them. They have both enjoyed me reading to them from their journals on their bdays.

The main reason I've been after these particular duffels is that the large (32" and 26") models fold down to nearly flat :woohoo: The "foot" (the part that the bags stand on when upright) folds so that when the bag is packed, it will stand on its own just like any other piece of luggage. BUT when empty, you can fold that foot (end) part down and the whole thing will slide unde the bed! So even if we have 3 of the large and medium bags, they'll all flatten down and slide under the bed, saving us precious closet space! :woohoo:

We don't have that kind...but we always put the bags under the bed in the stateroom. I have to lift the frame a little bit but once they are under you would never know it. :thumbsup2

A not-so-funny story. When DD#2 was tiny, we went out to dinner one night and she was wearing one of those itty bitty headbands. Some woman came to our table and said "Oh, what a pretty little baby" but then she looped her finger under the elastic headband, snapped it back, and said "But why do people like you insist on putting these on their heads"!!!
DH had to hold me back. It was about to become MOMMY SMACKDOWN!

Stacey it's a good thing your DH was there. I suspect if he wasn't you would've made minced meat out of the woman :thumbsup2 The nerve of some people. It reminds me too of being pregnant and people touching my belly without asking. Now, that's not to say I wouldn't have let them, but come on, don't manhandle the Prego...Hello!

That is so sweet! Something they will always cherish.

When my first DD was born I would go to Hallmark and purchase 2 ornaments - 1 for me and 1 for her - with her age on it. I would write her a note sort of recapping the year and what my hopes and dreams for her were. I placed the note in the ornament box and sealed it with her name on it. I did it for a few years but for whatever reason stopped :confused3 .

Greetings from the Magic!

I couldn't stay away! Gotta type fast only 86 mins left. Just got out of the CC get together. Tom Waller? was there. 2 new ships in 2011 & 2012! Will be built at ship yard in Germany. He said that there is alot of speculation on the DIS Boards! Bigger, more tonnage, hold 4,000 people. New design, 2 decks taller and combine Mickey and Goofy pools into one big family pool. I don't know if this is somthing that has been posted before, but if it's new I wanted you guys to be the first to know!

I am having CJ thread withdrawls, but we are having a great time. Too much to ketchup on! Gotta go, there is a deck chair on deck 4 with my name on it!

Yep, Postcard from paradise......... I'd say !!!! :yay: :yay:

That is how it feels sometimes! My DH would swear that his work day feels like 1200 hours...lol He is a NYC bus driver. :)

Mary

Mary I have the following to say about your husband: God Bless Him! Driving a bus in the city of any of the five boroughs is one darn hard job!!!!

:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1
It is amazing how people are like that though. I remember getting all kinds of unwanted advice from complete strangers when I would have DS out and about.

At least you don't have to go thru the part where your expanding belly becomes the property of anyone who wants to touch it. :scared:

This morning I get on my usual 6 train 1 stop at Grand Central. The train is pretty empty. At Grand Center they open on one side but at the next stop they open on the opposite side. I am easily able to stand in front of the doors that are going to open at the next stop- 51 street.

Ok, so I step on the train, walk toward the doors that are going to open at 51street and turn around to face the train - as opposed to looking out the doors. AS I am turning around this man just steps right up on me. I mean he was really freaking close to me. No need for it as the train is pretty empty. Next, I catch a whiff of him..yuck. He was so close that when I went into my bag- hanging across my body in front of me - I touched his coat.

I look up at him and ask him to back off. He moves a little. I move a bit away from him and turn sideways as I don't want to face him and I don't want to give him my back. I gotta tell you I almost decked him. I was pissed. I put my elbow out and elbowed him. It was all over in about 2 minutes. Jerk!

Mary

Yuck! Back when I was a strap-hanger, my DF at the time wanted me to carry a hunting knife with me as protection.

We took DS out of MS this last trip but it will probably be the last time we do so. Which means a cut into how many Mickey trips we can take. Now DH is eligible to retire in March of 09 and if he does there is a good possibility of us moving to Florida (which he doens't know about yet) which is where we want to retire to.
I want to retire somewhere warm also.

I thought it a bit odd when people would talk to FGM's tummy....... :confused3
