I received that today also. Sorry John.

I would have been very upset about the broken CD if I hadn't realized it was the same old Castaway Cay Survival Kit that's been posted on the DIS half a dozen times. Why can't they package them in CD holders, though and not in a paper envelope?

Too early!

Yet I got it in the end!

CONGRATS ON 33,000

Well...

Didn't I win ... THREE Oscars? You just go ask Andrew about this. Not only did I win 3 Oscars - but this feat is reknown litterially AROUND THE WORLD! Well... at least from California to the UK.

In the UK CAPTAIN CRASH IS A LEGEND IN HIS OWN LUNCHTIME!

Dame Helen Miiren wants lunch with the queen but only after Crash.

I just finished a round of Supartz injections in my right knee. Wasn't too bad, and seems to have helped quite a bit. The doc says that's just about my only option for now, since I have NO cartilage left to try to repair. Only other option is knee replacement, and he says he'd rather see me get a little older first. I guess they only last about 10 years, and he said if I got one now, I'd have to have it done again in the future.

Hopefully it will help you.

Greetings from the Magic!

I couldn't stay away! Gotta type fast only 86 mins left. Just got out of the CC get together. Tom Waller? was there. 2 new ships in 2011 & 2012! Will be built at ship yard in Germany. He said that there is alot of speculation on the DIS Boards! Bigger, more tonnage, hold 4,000 people. New design, 2 decks taller and combine Mickey and Goofy pools into one big family pool. I don't know if this is somthing that has been posted before, but if it's new I wanted you guys to be the first to know!

I am having CJ thread withdrawls, but we are having a great time. Too much to ketchup on! Gotta go, there is a deck chair on deck 4 with my name on it!

YEP!! I'm definitely jealous!!!
I am SO ready for a vacation! *SIGH*
The last vacation I had was our 7-night DCL in September of '05.

In '06, we were hoping to concieve, so I was HOPING that my vacation would be spent at home with a new baby. But that didn't happen, and we never got around to planning anything...

This year, I will be doing what I WANTED to do last year, and spending my whole vacation at home with a little one when we get an adoption placement. :cloud9: (and that's not to say that that this does not make me happier than I could possibly imagine, I am truly excited about it! :woohoo: )

But let's just say that next year, I will NEED this cruise!!! :yay: :cool1: :dance3:

If the NCL is one of the newer ships bulit for freestyle cruising, I would choose that one. I have been on the Star and the Dawn. It is fun to go to all the different restaurants, especially the Mexican on the Dawn:yum! We are actually going to try Costa April 1st as they had kids for taxes/port fees only, so it was only $3000 for the week for 5 people in two obstructed view balcony cabins. And we only booked 10 days ago! Remember, just because it's not Disney, that doesn't mean don't do it. It will be different. But it will be different traveling without the kids, too!

ITA!!! NCL is our second favorite cruiseline. We've been on the Dawn a few times. We love freestyle! It's so nice to go eat where & when you feel like it. Plus we can just drive to NY so that makes it even nicer for us. We had the new NCL Gem booked for next April, but due to the "trip of a lifetime" we had to cancel. I'm a bit sad, but I'm going to try & talk DH into going in 09. Shhhhhhh! :rolleyes1

HAPPY MONDAY, everyon!!!

We've been so busy lately!!

We got the mural that we ordered for the nursery/child room!
We have all textured plaster walls in our flat (historic building in South St. Louis  ), and the mural is basically a set of wallpaper panels, so we're having to prep the wall in order to get it to take the walpaper. We got all of the supplies this weekend, and hopefully by this time next week, I will post pics of the mural!! :thumbsup2

I have done my best to skim and read summaries, but I will probably have to just keep up from here on out rather than get completely "ketchup"-ed.

Reading posters comments on events on the ship I have a memory of a small event on the last repo and just reminds you to agree a meeting place before you board the ship if you loose each other.

Two years back kids 8 and 5, we boarded the Disney magic in early afternoon it was already busy, and we went to topsiders for late lunch.

In the queue for the buffet line we were all together, as we had just boarded we had some bags with us for carry on stuff, camcorders etc.

My wife first then DD, then DS then me, bring up the rear.

At the end of the line where they offer sodas between my DD and my DS, a man cut in and poured out a few drinks, I presume he had a table and wanted a refill.

My wife and DD went off, thinking I was just behind, and by the time the man had finished my DS and myself were left behind, he started to run off, I was left with his and my try, drinks and carry on bags by myself.

A lady cruiser seeing this very kindly offered to help carry a tray, I found DS, and he stopped and came back when he couldn’t find the rest of the family.

But DW and DD couldn’t be found.

The kind lady did give up after a time walking around, we found a table DS started his food and drink and I went around and around until I found DW and DD at a table, they had got one, and when we went missing, gave it up to find us and I think we all where going around and round,

Just because one guy couldn’t wait for a refill of soda!

There's a NEWSLETTER?????

More proof Mickey hates me.

Up to now Casterway club stuff has only been sent to CC members in USA only, now they promised people of the UK to add us on and we will receive CC packs and cards and newsletters from about 8-10 weeks.

They say a mailing of everything is going out to every CC memeber then.

Our very first cruise was on the Wonder back in '03, and we've discussed trying another line, but it always comes down to plain fear of disappointment. I know it costs quite a bit less to cruise on other lines, but after it's all said and done, it's still a substantial amount of money to shell out no matter what line you cruise. And we're just spoiled by Disney. We're seriously afraid of being let down on another cruise line.

Have they given you a time frame yet of when to be expecting your bundle?
And Yes, you will definetly be needing this cruise in 08!

It is brand new.. I received it today also.
and I really don't think that Mickey hates you guys!! That would just not be possible!:)

Oh, how I wish we had the kind of meters that could be read from the car, it would extend my working years. The town next to us just started installing those type of meters, but nothing has been said about our town doing it. Our town built a very large community center a few years ago www.riverwinds.org so there isn't any extra $$$$ for nice things like car remote style meters......:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Well, it's time to get back to the meters, see y'all later.........

Car?! Our area is going to phase in new meters (or in many cases an add-on module) that will record the information, send it to a concentrator and then transmit the data wirelessly to the Utility...yes, that means that a lot of meter readers (many of whom are temp employees) are going to be out of a job because they won't even have to drive around!

At least I can feel like I accomplished something today. Dishes are done and DD4's room is cleaned... But did it even dent it? :headache:

Andy, I sure hope you are retired before that happens!!
