I've never received a "Castaway Club" compass in my life. Didn't know there was such a thing. We did receive a broken CD after our last cruise.
I received that today also. Sorry John.

Well...
Didn't I win ... THREE Oscars? You just go ask Andrew about this. Not only did I win 3 Oscars - but this feat is reknown litterially AROUND THE WORLD! Well... at least from California to the UK.

Here is my son steering the 'Brig Unicorn' from the POTC movies in St. Lucia in December, complete with authentic pirate on cell phone in the background....

I just finished a round of Supartz injections in my right knee. Wasn't too bad, and seems to have helped quite a bit. The doc says that's just about my only option for now, since I have NO cartilage left to try to repair. Only other option is knee replacement, and he says he'd rather see me get a little older first. I guess they only last about 10 years, and he said if I got one now, I'd have to have it done again in the future.
Greetings from the Magic!
I couldn't stay away! Gotta type fast only 86 mins left. Just got out of the CC get together. Tom Waller? was there. 2 new ships in 2011 & 2012! Will be built at ship yard in Germany. He said that there is alot of speculation on the DIS Boards! Bigger, more tonnage, hold 4,000 people. New design, 2 decks taller and combine Mickey and Goofy pools into one big family pool. I don't know if this is somthing that has been posted before, but if it's new I wanted you guys to be the first to know!
I am having CJ thread withdrawls, but we are having a great time. Too much to ketchup on! Gotta go, there is a deck chair on deck 4 with my name on it!
If the NCL is one of the newer ships bulit for freestyle cruising, I would choose that one. I have been on the Star and the Dawn. It is fun to go to all the different restaurants, especially the Mexican on the Dawn:yum! We are actually going to try Costa April 1st as they had kids for taxes/port fees only, so it was only $3000 for the week for 5 people in two obstructed view balcony cabins. And we only booked 10 days ago! Remember, just because it's not Disney, that doesn't mean don't do it. It will be different. But it will be different traveling without the kids, too!

YEP!! I'm definitely jealous!!!
I am SO ready for a vacation! *SIGH*
The last vacation I had was our 7-night DCL in September of '05.![]()
In '06, we were hoping to concieve, so I was HOPING that my vacation would be spent at home with a new baby. But that didn't happen, and we never got around to planning anything...
This year, I will be doing what I WANTED to do last year, and spending my whole vacation at home with a little one when we get an adoption placement.(and that's not to say that that this does not make me happier than I could possibly imagine, I am truly excited about it!
)
But let's just say that next year, I will NEED this cruise!!!![]()

Oh, how I wish we had the kind of meters that could be read from the car, it would extend my working years. The town next to us just started installing those type of meters, but nothing has been said about our town doing it. Our town built a very large community center a few years ago www.riverwinds.org so there isn't any extra $$$$ for nice things like car remote style meters......![]()

Well, it's time to get back to the meters, see y'all later.........![]()
Car?!Our area is going to phase in new meters (or in many cases an add-on module) that will record the information, send it to a concentrator and then transmit the data wirelessly to the Utility...yes, that means that a lot of meter readers (many of whom are temp employees) are going to be out of a job because they won't even have to drive around!
