i live in new jersey also in cumberland county. i have the travel channel its on channel 188. you will think you would of had it first you live in glouster county if i remember correct. glouster county is a whole lot more populated then cumberland county. we had the travel channel here about a year now.

Oh WOW!!! Thanks for the tip!!! I just tried channel 188 and there is The Travel Channel. We have two months free of Digital Plus because Comcast messed up on our billing when we switched to the phone-cable-internet special. I never checked to see if TTC was part of Digital Plus. We might just have to keep Digital Plus when our free period runs out. ;)

Reminds me of one of my favorite pictures from our last cruise. It is not the best photo of any of us, but

LOOK! BAKED ALASKANS!

bakedalaskans.jpg

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Best of luck to you!! :flower3: WIll you be having a grand opening? How fun to own something that you love.

Most likely we will. We're still kind of wandering around in shock, thinking "What did we just do?"

Oh take care Andy!

Just saw a commercial for Alaska on The Travel Channel, I sure hope DCL start cruises to Alaska once they get their new ships sailing. I am so there!!! I had a friend take a couple cruises to Alaska, he said they were some of the best cruises he and his wife ever took. :goodvibes

Towards the front...

The floor...

Very nice job on the floor and the paint color. I won't make any more comments on you being behind on the boards -- that looks like a LOT of work.

Thank you! I think the hardest part was picking a paint color.:lmao: I usually stick to neutrals, but I really like the color.

I'm in a funk. I think I have a case of DDCLF, Dreaded DCL Fever.

I'm sitting in my office overlooking the grey dank parking. There absolutely no color except for who ever is driving the electric blue Toyota. It's cold both outside and in my office and the trees look like leafless popsicles. I have a ton of work to get through but all I want to do is look at the DCL picture of the day or my own that I have loaded. To add insult to injury my iPod will play the ship's whistle every now and then between the entire collection of Buffett that I have loaded on it. What is a poor girls to do?:confused3 :confused3

What's the cure gang??????

Just got in for lunch, spent the last 2.5 hours walking around in this sloppy mess, I'm pooped, and I'm not talking bricks here people..........:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

The meters I'm reading today are all outside on the side of the residents homes. With all the sn*w on the ground, it makes it difficult to get to some of the meters, especially if there are little mounds to try and walk up, just think, slip, slide and away, that would be me..........:lmao:

I go, after work tomorrow, to get a series of x-rays on both of my knees. I know one thing, my knees are quite stiff and sore today.

You know, I've lived in this house over 2 years and I have no idea where my water meter is. I think we have one of those kinds that they read from the street via RF because I think the meter with the spinning dials is down in the basement and no one has ever come into our house to read it.

Looks like I've missed tons of stuff again!

Condolences to those with recent losses.

Congrats to all the award winners; that looked like a fun list to compile!

MR, I never noticed you were from Jersey! I live in Hillsborough.

Andy, I'm not happy to hear that the snow has started! Hope you won't have to deal with ice tomorrow.

In the spirit of the oldies e-mail, I will pass on this one I received:

Some of the artists of the 60's are revising their hits with new lyrics

to accommodate aging baby Boomers. They include:

Herman's Hermits--- Mrs.. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Walker.

Ringo Starr--- I Get By With a Little Help From Depends.

The Bee Gees--- How Can You Mend a Broken Hip.

Bobby Darin--- Splish, Splash, I Was Havin' a Flash.

Roberta Flack--- The First Time Ever I Forgot Your Face.

Johnny Nash--- I Can't See Clearly Now.

Paul Simon--- Fifty Ways to Lose Your Liver

The Commodores--- Once, Twice, Three Times to the Bathroom.

Procol Harem--- A Whiter Shade of Hair.

Leo Sayer--- You Make Me Feel Like Napping.

The Temptations --- Papa's Got a Kidney Stone.

Abba--- Denture Queen.

Tony Orlando--- Knock 3 Times On The Ceiling If You Hear Me Fall.

Helen Reddy--- I Am Woman, Hear Me Snore.

Leslie Gore--- It's My Procedure, and I'll Cry If I Want To.

And my favorite:

Willie Nelson--- On the Commode Again

Good ones. :rotfl:

I've bought and sold on Ebay. Got a really nice leather Mickey Mouse jacket for $50.00 just before Xmas. We had paid over $200 for Kev's at Belz Mall in Sept. Bought several pins,Kev gets alot of his train stuff there.

SWMBO used to buy Barbies from E-Bay quite a bit, but I she stopped a few years back. There started to be too many scammers and people jumping in at the last minute and driving up prices that she soured on the experience.

Greetings from the Magic!

I couldn't stay away! Gotta type fast only 86 mins left. Just got out of the CC get together. Tom Waller? was there. 2 new ships in 2011 & 2012! Will be built at ship yard in Germany. He said that there is alot of speculation on the DIS Boards! Bigger, more tonnage, hold 4,000 people. New design, 2 decks taller and combine Mickey and Goofy pools into one big family pool. I don't know if this is somthing that has been posted before, but if it's new I wanted you guys to be the first to know!

I am having CJ thread withdrawls, but we are having a great time. Too much to ketchup on! Gotta go, there is a deck chair on deck 4 with my name on it!

I went through this with my oldest DD. I had to talk to her teacher about letting her read after a test, etc because she would make silly mistakes because she just wanted to read. I also had to ban her from reading during lunch or recess so she would talk to her friends instead.

Our DS10's idiot fifth-grade teacher let him read instead of doing other assignments and we had to step in and put a stop to it because we know his teachers in 6th grade won't let him.

This teacher is retiring after the year and just doesn't care what the school or the parents say.

Which model/brand TV do you have? How long did it last? I've been wondering how long our bulb will last....

Our bulb has lasted well over two years -- rear-projection LCD, but we are having issues with the light engine right now that we are trying to get Circuit City (ugh) to fix b/c it is under warranty.

Oh, how I wish we had the kind of meters that could be read from the car, it would extend my working years. The town next to us just started installing those type of meters, but nothing has been said about our town doing it. Our town built a very large community center a few years ago www.riverwinds.org so there isn't any extra $$$$ for nice things like car remote style meters......:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Well, it's time to get back to the meters, see y'all later.........

www.disneycruise.com. There are cruises leaving this week.. :)

Glad to know I'm not the only one :laundy: today.

Now that the kids are finally off to school after the 2 hour delay, I can :surfweb: a little between :laundy: loads.

My goal is to get 2 closets and all of my kitchen cabinets emptied out, cleaned & re-organized before Easter. I'm 1/2 way through the first closet, so I am hopeful.

Enna, I did my side of the closet yesterday. I need to do DS's today.
