because "co-hearsed" would be when you have to share a car in a funeral, right?
I would watch who you pick on!!

I'll join in with all the moms who believe this should stay 'voluntary'. I have enough complaints about my school district requiring dental exams every few years (and why do they need to be involved in whether my kids have bad gums or not) let alone something like this.
Thanks! To me, AST is an accelerated stress test and FRR is a functional requirements review.
And TPS is "this place s....."![]()
Help, I am drowning in an SoA (sea of acronyms)!
Well, I can't believe it, but this is my 100th post on this thread!!!Considering I've on the Dis for over 3 and 1/2 years and I only have 257 posts in that time, I'm shocked at myself!!! I guess that's nearly 40% of all my posts on this thread?!?!?!?!?!
Holy Moly!!!
Congrats to you!!!This board does definitely brings out my more passionate side to talk. " My DH says if I had no one to talk to, I would get a wall to talk back to me."
Would this be the same event that the website we were spammed about last week is planning? If so, I think that it is only fair that people know who else will be there if they sign up for this.
I did see it on their site and looked into it online. I was checking to see if there would be enough interest for us to plan our own picnic. Or we could look into joining them as well. I'm willing to investigate further if there is interest.
I don't want to get flamed for this, I'm not insinuating that we can't work together, it's just that we seem to be getting to know each other on this board and thought this kind of get-together would give us the chance to get to know each other better.
Huh?
If we planned it for our group (those on this thread) it would be only our group (those on this thread) that will be there. If we did this, it wouldn't be merged with other groups.
*I'm confused what you mean*
Was the person that posted that talking about signing us up with another group doing this?
He was so upset for me, wrote a note stating Megan was fine and I took her back to school. I had to get her "relaased" by the nurse before she could go back to class. I gave the nationally known Dr's note and she said.... "Well, I don't believe it"!!! I got Megan checked in, glared at the nurse, and left in tears.
All of this becasue Megan holds the book closely to her face when she reads.![]()
Ours is five. We have at least a dozen Tar-jays within a 45 minute drive.
I trust all goes well for you DH's knee surgery!!! I've had 7 knee operations over the years, so I do feel for your DH.
That's one reason I had such a trying day yesterday, my left knee was so stiff because of the weather, I could hardly bend it at all.
Wow! That is interesting. You school requires dental exams? Now I noticed you stated only "every few years" so that is what people should be doing anyway but that does appear a bit intrusive.
This kind of reminds me of a situation w/ oldest DD when she was in the 1st grade. Her teacher called me and said "I think Megan needs to see an Optometrist". She has glasses, how in the world did she think we got the glasses to begin w/?I told her that Megan had seen one of 3 Pediatrict Opthamologist (MD's) every 6 months since she was born. She is in a multi-national study on her eye disorder and has been monitored very carefully. Well I thought that would stop the conversation but, no..... She kept calling me every day making me feel like I was worlds worst parent because I was "not taking care of my child". I was finally in tears when I took her to her main Opthamologist and he said "Why are your here so soon after your last appt.?". I said because the school nurse said I had to.

SO while I am up ranting by myself . . .
Reading about people who received e-mails about the new ships reminded me of something.
I think Disney hates me.
We've been to a park (WDW or DL) every year since we had kids in 1998.
We had WDW passes when we lived in FL
Cruised DCL 2x - '08 will be 3, we're on an every other year schedule (CC members, right?)
I buy everything with my Disney Visa
Disney shareholders (OK 2 shares, but still!)
Buy oodles of stuff from Disney Shopping
Disney Insider e-mail list
HAVE I EVER RECEIVED A POSTCARD, E-MAIL, OR ANYTHING ELSE????
NNNNOOOOOOOO! We've certainly never been family of the minute for any department.
I even had to call 3 months after our last cruise to see if they would send me the little CD kit-thingy I found out about on the Dis.
Come on Mickey - where's the love?
I received some bad news when I woke up this morning and have been trying to deal with that. DH's GM died Wednesday night. I haven't been able to reach him yet but the service wont be for a couple weeks. She will be buried with her DH in Arlington National Cemetary so we have to wait for an opening. Gram was a very sweet lady who I didn't meet until her DH died, but she and the rest of the family treated me wonderfully. We had just sent out our engagement announcements the week before his accident. She has been in a rest home for quite a while since suffering with alzheimer's. She died peacefully in her sleep, so that is comforting.
I just wanted you to know if I am not around much today.
Read this article this morning and it sort of goes with the discussion from yesterday. List of most and least affordable cities for home prices. It is based on home prices as compared to average income.
Most Affordable
Indianapolis IN $113,000 price $65,100 avg. income
Youngstown OH $83,000 price $52,100 avg. income
Detroit MI $92,000 price $56,700 avg. income
Toledo OH $105,000 price $58,900 avg. income
Buffalo NY $89,000 price $58,300 avg. income
Least
Los Angeles CA $525,000 price $56,200 avg. income
Santa Ana CA $620,000 price $78,300 avg. income
San Diego CA $475,000 price $64,900 avg. income
New York NY $500,000 price $59,200 avg. income
Modesto CA $360,000 price $54,400 avg. income
It is an interesting list, but who the heck wants to live in Toledo OH or Detroit MI?
There has been plenty of testing done on the vaccination. There has been at least 5-7 years. It works. The only question is whether the immunity will last a life-time vs 10-20 years. Only time will tell.
I really do wish we had a Target. Right now I wish it were at least 40 degrees warmer (it's -10).
BUT - this is about a block from my house.

I'll take this any day.
