Thank youMy DS has had speech therapy since Kindergarten. He is now in 4th grade & doing much better, but he still has a bit of a problem with the ch & j sounds. The doctor seems to think that by the time he is a teenager, even those sounds will be corrected. Hope everything works out for your DD!![]()
I'll make him stop......how much?Jared didn't talk when he was little. He did plenty of screaming. He'd see a bunny in the back yard and want us to see it too, so he'd scream. Got me every time....I'd go running thinking he was being murdered!
I kept telling the doc that I thought something was wrong, and he kept giving me excuses like "he's a boy, they're slower" and "maybe the girls are talking for him". He finally got tired of me bugging him, and sent us for tests.
Apparently, Jared's multiple ear infections as a baby caused his speech patterns to not develop normally. He had two years of private speech therapy and then went to the Developmental Preschool. By the time he was ready to start Kindergarten, his speech was perfect.
Now we sometimes regret paying to make him talk. He talks constantly!
Can we pay someone to make him stop??

make it 2 bad things about a crockpot----the bear fur gets stuck to the inside and is hard to scrub off......I have to say there is one really bad thing about a crockpot and it is smelling the food all day long
You forgot crocs.![]()
