Maybe they'll resurrect the Achy Breaky and the Romeo.

Did you end up at the SD Zoo on Monday? If so, you must have been drenched, the rain never let up here that day. DH took all three DSs to DL and said it was empty. They did both parks, rode everything they wanted at least twice, some four times and still were on the road by 5:00pm, that's a good day in our book!

My OU roommate was an ExPhys major. Don't even get me started on all of my housemates taking anatomy together!

If I ever earn my PhD I'm going to make DH & DSs call me Doctor for at least a month.

My DH's initials are MDW and he just got a JD, so he wants to sign his name "(last name), M.D., J.D."

That stinks! Are you putting anything on it?

Not yet. I have felt horrible most of the day so I haven't gone out. DH just doesn't quite get it. :sad2: I'll have him stop at CVS after work. Heck, he didn't even get the trash to the curb today...:rolleyes1

:worship: WOW, an old Leica.

Nikon snob here too. (bulk rolled agfa & printed on Ilfa in college too).

I didn't go digital until 5 months ago. Until the D80 came out, there wasn't anything (choke, cough) affordable that produced the quality photos I want.
Before that I mostly shot with my Nikon N60. I LOVE my D80 (10.2 MEGA PIXELS, people!). It's nice that I can still use the gabillion dollars worth of lenses I collected for my N60. I love that you can go almost fully manual with the N60 & the D80 - that's still how I shoot most often. I'm a control freak. I also have a late-'60's model Nikon my Dad got in Vietnam. The thing is a TANK! I usually have a roll of B&W in it.

OK - back to the pros & cons of plastic shoes.

heh heh well I, of course, not being a camera geek didn't know much about anything other than my old point-n-shoot film camera. She got the D70 because like you said, the digital Nikon bodies take the Nikon SLR lenses! In fact, she picked up a zoom lens while on our last Disney Cruise...saved some $80-$100 over the price of getting it in the States!

Yeah, you should see some of the camera techs when she asks if they can clean her :worship: Leica popcorn::

I thought about getting her a digital Leica for a gift but there's this cruise thingy we have to pay for!

I could never see him as Danny until he got his hair styled. :thumbsup2 I always vote for underdogs too. Sandy I am not sure of. No one blows my mind (My minds been gone for awhile) for Sandy.:happytv:

I feel the same way about the Sandy's. No one stands out that much.

But what is with the stupid Danny and Sandy names they gave them. I think I would be insulted.
:confused3

I finally scrounged the kiddies up some dinner: chicken patties, FF, and corn. Now if they would just eat, clean up, bathe and get to bed I could have some peace.:cloud9:

That is a great DL day.

We're not afraid of rain, so we went. The rain was light until lunch time. Then we decided we'd go on the train a second time since it's covered. Not only did it pour, but it got windy, too. We were drenched when we left, but brought extra clothes for the ride home. We went to Ruby's at the Carlsbad Outlets for dinner at 4:30 and then headed home. The kids had a wonderful time. DD and her "best boy friend" spent most of dinner writing love notes to each other. Since they're in Kindergarten the notes mostly went like this: I "heart" u, U "heart" me.

I'm going to have my hands full when she turns 16.

Great. I just got the mail and there is this big manila envelope from my DS school. I'm thinking it is something important about his schedule or grade. NO it is a fundraiser. Cookie Dough no less. Gee when did they start mailing this stuff home? Don't they know I have cruise to pay for.

OK Bed time here 10.30pm, I wont leave it too long this time before returning, if I missed any post again thanks for the good wishes on DD and DW.

Night!

I know this is late, but Good Night Andrew

I'm gonna "bolt" for awhile. I think I'll lay on the couch and dictate what I want the girls to do. Makes me feel good! :rolleyes1

My dh was the same way when we went on our last cruise. Finally, I made a profile for him.....made a sig and all.....and FORCED him to post a message. After that, he really enjoyed it. I think I'll be able to get him on here at some point. I've been "briefing" him about all of you.

Is Wolverinefan already taken? :lmao:
