OK, that doesn't include tax or shipping so it would be a total of 356.58...so 35.66 per day.

Ticketmania.com has them for 346.00 total so 34.60 per day.

DL tickets currently are.

2-Day Park Hopper® Ticket
$102.00 3-9
$122.00 10+

1-Day Park Hopper® Ticket
$73.00 3-9
$83.00 10+

Single-Day Theme Park Ticket**
$53.00 3-9
$63.00 10+

I hope the prices don't go up too much between now and then - I'm thinking about getting two day park hoppers but that will also depend on how much Legoland admission is for DH and me, DS gets a free ticket because he belongs to Lego Brickmaster.

Mark--

You know I really REALLY REALLY hope that you and Laura are next! I also hope the Tag Fairy wil include anyone else who is feeling left out of the fun.

I have a feeling that the tag fairy will work her magic on all over the next 18 months! Here's some pixiedust: that it's sooner rather than later!

Back from Shopping. Note to self. Do not bring DH with me again. He grabs EVERYTHING.
Congrats Enna on the Tag!!!!

My peace and quiet will be gone in another hour as the kids will be dropped off. They are on a quest to see where I hid my :santa: chocolate. They found my secret stash the other day and this time it's hidden right under their noses:thumbsup2

I keep telling DD9 "you have beautiful natural highlights" - true enough, but there is method to my madness!!!!!:rotfl:

I am going to need to do it soon - trying to pluck the grey hairs out is starting to be futile!!!! I will probably try the box thing too - hate the time and expense of the salon....

The 2.97 green Clairol box works good once a month. :thumbsup2 I started getting white hairs at 21. Since I didn't want to waste color on hair that would be cut off I have waited 2 weeks longer than I usually do to redo it. It seems that I am probably over 50% white hair. I use to look like I had highlights...dark blonde with light brown. DD's hair seems to be the same way now.

Judy--

Does that mean my evil plan worked? :confused3

Lorri--

I forgot to mention that the bar trip might be a swimming excursion...but only if we miss the boat!

I can swim, I just hope it's faster than the sharks can!:scared1: Looks like I'll be spending some time at the Y improving my swimming skills!

Thanks for responses. I did run a 2 night stay w/3 day hopper quote for family of four on DL property for 8/15-8/17 this year to get an idea of cost, it came back $1228 at Paradise Pier  , this was a "standard view" room. A room only was:

$586 for 2 nights at Paradise Pier:eek:
$655 for 2 nights at Disneyland Hotel:eek:
$874 for 2 nights at Grand California:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Guess I was expecting $150-200 per night, but $300-450 a night really seems pricey for Disney immersion (when we're immersed for 15 nights on cruise), monorail and early admission. I think I'd force my family to stay in the room and enjoy it at that rate. I think we'll stay with the free Sheraton.

Thanks again.

Have you looked into the Howard Johnson's Anaheim ... Only $99 a night and right across from Disneyland... Mousesavers recommends them .. It looks really nice!

Out to brave the elements and visit Wally World. Nobody sent their list's......so maybe I can get out of there in less than 3 hours !!!:scared1:

Mark

Maybe with a little more notice we can coordinate an air drop to deliver things for you. :thumbsup2

Hello everyone......just popping in to say "hi"......I struggle so much to keep up with this thread.....without the recaps, I'd be totally lost!

If anyone would like to see a very sweet and romantic music video that my son was the director of photography for, please go to this link. The featured singer is actually a ukelele artist so it probably won't get much network play but hopefully it will lots of online hits. Hope you enjoy!

Yes, that is what we thought too. We can rent a car for the week we are there & use the free hotel stay from points. ;)

The best thing about the TF is that she bestows tags when it is totally unexpected. The surprise is the best part. ;)

Lisa--

I know. And I find it hilarious that I was the last to know about mine.

Still, I feel compelled to pester the Tag Fairy on behalf of those who are still tagless. It's just not in my nature to keep quiet when I know that others feel left out, and I am concerned that this board might lose some of our "Superty Cool" members (not to mention the former Mickey Jail inmates) because they don't yet have a tag. We should be coming together as a group, and that's a hard thing to ask of a person who might be feeling excluded. I know that there's at least one other member who feels that they have been overlooked by the tag fairy on multiple occasions, and having been in that position myself, I feel for that person. (You know who you are! ;) )

So, once again, I implore the tag fairy to take pity on any of our crew who needs a little pixie dust today. :wizard: Please? I would gladly give up my tag if it would mean that others could have theirs.

Really? I didn't know about the free ticket. Hmmm...I may just have to modify our plans to include LegoLand.

Thanks. I have seen some good comments about it, but if we are staying offsite anyway, I can stay at a Sheraton for free.

Enna, hopefully noone would take it to that extreme. Like I said last night I was a member for 3 1/2 years, had 7500 posts, & had been a mod for 7 months BEFORE I got my first tag. ;)

I find that hiding it right under their noses is the best place. I did that with my last WDW vacation. I told my daughter that we were going somewhere, but wouldn't tell her where. I told her that if she was observant, she would figure it out herself. My hiding place was my DIS signature ... I added 2006 - All Star Movies ... Took her two weeks to find it. Had the best time of my life! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl:

She's always checking my signature out now so there goes that hiding place!

Oh, that's right. We only have to swim if one of us accidentally looses a shoe in the water.

I stand corrected.

I promise not to throw my shoes in the water - no matter how many margaritas I have!

OK, I did some internet surfing and this Martini recipe sounds similar to what I had last night:

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz vanilla vodka
3/4 oz coconut rum
1 splash pineapple juice
orange twist

Directions:
1.) Add vanilla vodka, coconut rum and pineapple juice into martini shaker with ice
2.) Shake ingredients over ice
3.) Pour contents into a Swank martini glass
4.) Garnish with an orange twist

But in my search, I also found the following:

Pirates Painkiller

50 ml White Rum
30 ml Coconut Milk
30 ml Pineapple Juice
30 ml Orange Juice
30 ml Grand Marnier
Crushed Ice

Shake vigorously all ingredients in a shaker except for ice and Grand Marnier. Fill glass with ice. Pour mixture into glass with a liberal floating of Grand Marnier on top. Dust with fresh ground nutmeg. Wake up the Pirate in you!

Sounds pretty Piratey to me!
