OK! I'm fairly caught up. :cool1: :cool1:
Just thinking next Friday we will be getting ready for our cruise. I need to mapquest directions, I'm renting a car. I'm in single digits! :cool1:  :cool1:

Tina--OMG I had forgotten!!!!!
Are you gonna have any time here before or after? Let me know....

Our youngest kittie is Taliesin (Tali for short)
He's a rescue from an auto garage where they had to find homes for the kittens or they were going to the Humane Society...We got him about 2 years ago. He's our little lover

Wow, finally a prop! I'll play loose head prop if you play tight head but we'll have to find another hooker then.

OH Pete........not searching for another Hooker are you? :lmao:

How many Hookers do a few naked Rugby players need? :rotfl2:

Okay kids - I know it's Friday but I am absolutely exhausted. I'm hitting the sheets. See ya tomorrow!

And here are our birds (Cockatiels)

Woo Hoo celebrating your single digit dance with you party:

Thanks! I'm finally getting excited! Alot has happened since I booked it last March. It's been a rough year. My dad passed away in August. It has been tough on dd as we went over everyday and had dinner with grandpa. My mom passed away 8 yrs ago, so after that we went every day. I am the executor of dad's trust and have had to deal with an unreasonable sibling. Still need to get the house in shape to sell. I'm going to get on that when we get back. I grew up in the house and it was left to me, but dd and I agree that there are just too many memories. Plus she likes her school and our neighborhood. It's grandpa's house. The one bright spot is my brother has been so helpful and we think the same way about things.

So we need an escape from reality for a bit. Sorry, didn't mean to get depressing here. We are going good, but we have our moments.

Thanks for sharing all of your furbabies with us!

Pamela please tell your DH that I love him already!

It's funny but I think he gets a little embarassed about his cat hobby :goodvibes He doesn't often talk about it outside our family, but he has been very good natured about all the 'cat house' jokes.

I saw them Pamela! They are beautiful! :thumbsup2

I think your cats are great Pamela!! I can't post pictures at all and I love to look at other's!

What pretty cats!

Somehow, I figured Tuxedo would look sort of like that.

What kind of cat is the grey one? We always seem to have a puffy grey cat hanging around outside.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words about our fuzzy family members! Enna - none of our cats our any particular breed. The shelter usually calls "mutt" cats either American Shorthair or American Longhair...

Today I discovered the 4-Disk Electric Company DVD collection on Amazon.

I'm going to go look at your cats. Gotta love a Dustbuster.

Cool - Electric Company on DVD. Hmm, I wonder if this could be like Mr Rogers - I remember loving his show as a kid, but I couldn't watch it with DS when he was younger because it grated on my nerves! Maybe the Library will get it and I can try watching without committing any money .......

On the other hand, Schoolhouse Rock on video is still great! DS7 loves it and we all go around singing the songs after he's been watching it.

Oh, and it's nice not being invisible! I guess I just need to try and catch up earlier so I'm posting during "prime time". Or do like I am now, I'm still over 30 pages behind (and I was actually caught up at lunch time!), but I am reading current stuff now and I'll go back to catch up later (I hope ...)

pdarrah (Pamela)

P.S. This multi-quoting is GREAT!

I FINALLY have pics of my babies! (I just had to take pics of my birds and one of my kitties because I couldn't find any on my computer!)

OK...
Here's my oldes little guy. His name is Hootie (already had his name when we got him from a friend who could no longer keep him.) We've had him for about 8 years.

Here's Katie, she's our middle child. She comes with a bit of a story. We found her on our front porch at about 10:30 pm on the 5th of July about 5 years ago. Her tail was broken in half, and it was infected really badly. :sad1: Someone had probably slammed it in a door.
So we rushed her to an all-night emergency animal clinic, and they had to amputate her tail. So after her ordeal, we knew that she was our new baby. Soon after that, we found that she had kittens that were in the garage across the alley! We quickly found homes for them, but Katie was ours!

DD Megan is here with me. She wanted me to tell you that your cats are beautiful. (I think so, too.):tink: :cheer2: :wave2:

Christal I love your adorable kitties! (and Tali too not pictured here)

Goodnight, Lorri!

Thanks for the moral support this afternoon & evening!

Hey, serious post time. Are we going to have a "kid's thread" for this cruise. I'd like my boys to post with other kids, but I'm not letting them read this thread. Too many years of therapy to pay for.

I haven't been in a group that had a kid's thread. Usually my kids email the others their age. Perhaps the teens could since they are a little older?

Ah Tina, sounds like a much needed cruise and rest. Sorry about the loss of you Dad and the accompanying aftermath that inevitably happens in families. Go away and enjoy your cruise like no other (until ours). Party like it's 1999!!!!!
