Finally got a chance to look at this months Natl Geographic...there is a one page article (well diagrams really) on the plan to widen the Panama Canal - and also an article on how Disney/WDW have had their effect on Orlando. Haven't read it yet - but looks interesting..just an FYI for anyone interested!!!!!

Take me there now!

I hear ya Brack!:thumbsup2

Good night all. I'm sure I will definately be dreaming about Cats tonight. :)

Judy, you are way too kind.

Thanks for the moral support today. I know I'll feel better when I can get out of my icebound status. Between the sick kid and the puking dog, and the endless dishes & laundry AND putting wood in the fire, I feel like Cinderella...you know....before the magic wand.

Enna, I didn't get a tag until after I hit 7500 posts. Believe it or not that was just last summer. ;)

Thanks you guys! Your great! :flower3: Didn't mean to vent. It's a good thing I have a warped sense of humor! What's that saying? What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Got a Pair of Mickey Crocs at WDW last Christmas........... There the Best !!!

Black with Mickey shaped openings............and Bright Red Mickey Strap !! :cool1:

Mark

Oooh, I want some of those!

Did we chase Shelley off when we failed to be considerate?????

BIP we are sorry -

Awww, thanks.
I am a bit disappointed but you know, a picture just can NOT show the wonderfulness that is Tramp. There is no way it could be captured by mere pixels/etc. You'd have to see him in real life to understand. :)
;)

Yes they do. Good Thing that back in 72 they didnt have digital pictures...........My parents would have pictures to go with their story.

Mark

Oh, such a tease!

About 30 pages back, there was talk about kid's shoes. With us, I have so much trouble just getting DS7 to wear shoes most of the time, that I started letting him pick them out when we was about 4. That at least gave me a chance he might keep them on.

Then, about 1.5 years ago I discovered Crocs and started wearing them - after about 15 years of athletic shoes with orthotic inserts it was so fun to have something different and colorful! DS thought they were totally cool and DH promised him a pair as a reward for something or other. That was our downfall. He currently has 4 pairs of Crocs, 2 pair of tennis shoes and a pair of winter boots. He doesn't wear any other shoes. He would wear the Crocs every single day if the weather would cooperate! (I don't let him if it is raining, too cold or snowy) I didn't even bother to get him a pair of sandals last summer - what would be the point, he would just wear the crocs anyway

Kelly's. Used to be that I'd fly out of Boston, just to stop at Kelly's on the way down and back. There have a been a couple times my family has driven down to Saugus just to go to Kelly's. We've been going there since it was just at Revere Beach. Used to be a tradition to go to the big boat show every President's day then stop at Kelly's at Revere Beach, middle of February, freeze to get carry out and a couple quarts of clam chowdah to go home. Only place I'll eat clam chowdah.

HOWEVER, there's this new place in Portland, Henry VIII's - WOW!! - that might give Kelly's Roast Beef a run for their money.

How could you eat roast beef when you have lobster rolls there? I use to LOVE getting them whenever we went to Maine. :goodvibes

My brother in law recently found out he had colon cancer. He is only 51. Well, today he found out that the cancer is contained - he is stage 1! Thank God it hasn't spread! We are unsure what is treatment is going to be but his prognosis looks good. Please feel free to send some prayers and pixie dust our way :).

Before his diagnosis I was able to get him and about 13 other family members together for a cruise planned for this upcoming August. We are doing the 4 day and this is his and a few others first cruise. It is going to be all the more meaningful now!

Mary

Prayers are on the way. So glad that it was caught early.

Please tell me again how to do it. Both Jen and Lisa told me. I still can't do it and I can't find their posts again......I never be able to find them ever, ever again..........they've disappeared into posting vapor........they gone to posting heaven........the're buried somewhere in the 1600+ pages.......someone stop me.....:lmao: :lmao:

When you're scrolling and want to grab a quote, click the icon in lower right corner that looks like this:

It seems like nothing happens, so you can continue to scroll and everytime you want to grab a quote, click that icon again. Then, when you are ready to post, click the regular "quote" icon.

DD4 is the only one of my DDs who has ever gone through the "watch the same movie a hundred times in row" thing. ELF was last November I believe. Heck, I thinkit spanned two or more months! Right now it is Cinderella 3 and Peter Pan...

:sad2: DD6 is SO into this ritual OY!
