I actually told her to just throw the stuff away, but she was having fits and practically begging DH to buy her something today because they couldn't be without their PB and maybe they could eat it anyway! I swear, that woman is trying to k*** both her and my FIL.

You got more accomplished than I did today. The kids came home at noon & nothing got done after that. Before that I stopped in at the chiropractor for an adjustment because my back has been pulling when I reach for things lately. It is enflamed again. I then stopped by a friend's house to drop off some baby stuff I have been getting in the mail for her & talk about what is going on with the school. Oh, before all of that I managed to get the kids to school earlier than usual so that I could get to my hair appointment on time. Made it with 3 minutes to spare but she was late. I wish that she had cancelled. My hair has been butchered. All I could do all day when I passed a mirror was

Yea, he just called me after he posted. Like I said all involved in our game including cheerleaders and their sig others are invited. It will be the last day of our cruise.

My brother in law recently found out he had colon cancer. He is only 51. Well, today he found out that the cancer is contained - he is stage 1! Thank God it hasn't spread! We are unsure what is treatment is going to be but his prognosis looks good. Please feel free to send some prayers and pixie dust our way .

Before his diagnosis I was able to get him and about 13 other family members together for a cruise planned for this upcoming August. We are doing the 4 day and this is his and a few others first cruise. It is going to be all the more meaningful now!

I FINALLY have pics of my babies! (I just had to take pics of my birds and one of my kitties because I couldn't find any on my computer!)

OK...
Here's my oldes little guy. His name is Hootie (already had his name when we got him from a friend who could no longer keep him.) We've had him for about 8 years.

Here's Katie, she's our middle child. She comes with a bit of a story. We found her on our front porch at about 10:30 pm on the 5th of July about 5 years ago. Her tail was broken in half, and it was infected really badly. Someone had probably slammed it in a door.
So we rushed her to an all-night emergency animal clinic, and they had to amputate her tail. So after her ordeal, we knew that she was our new baby. Soon after that, we found that she had kittens that were in the garage across the alley! We quickly found homes for them, but Katie was ours!

Wow - I never heard of heating disks before. Just googled them and DH is probably going to love this for his outside cats! He already built them a cat house (which our friends LOVE making smart comments about...)



That's fun! We haven't been to Kalahari, but we've been to Wolf Lodge and Wilderness Resort there.



OK - I mentioned Electric Company last night and as usual, not a single response. I'm starting to think my posts are invisible I loved it and my parents still often refer to me as "Easy Reader" because I read just about anything that is in front of me! I've even read the safety rules on the back of the hotel room door

Maybe it is that I often am posting in the late night time frame ... I finally posted photos of 5 of the 6 cats late last night, but I don't think anyone saw them... (if interested it is at http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=17046855&postcount=22677)

That is very true. I love the 1998 lines. DD had quite the collection of it. There are only a few pieces that still fit her. I got them on Ebay & thru a gymbo yahoo loop group for $5 per piece or less. Cape Cod, Cotten Candy, Autumn Berries. I miss those outfits! They were so cute!!!

I loved Autumn Berries, but we only had it in bitty sizes (also through the loops). Come to think of it, DD still wears the jacket as her outside play coat sometimes, even though it's way too short in the arms.

We hit our peak in the Leapin' Lilly Pads era (2002) but have moved on to other things....like giving our discretionary income to Mickey & Cinderella.

Remember to resell--Cotton Candy still gets good money on ebay from time to time.

Their beautiful! Poor Katie - it just burns me when I hear about cruelty to animals and children . Katie's a lucky lady to have found you!
