I totally agree! Pets that are found, rescued, come from the humane society, etc. are fantastic

You can say that again!
We rescued our Tramp (our dog) from the local shelter. I cannot believe someone dumped him at our park and they must have- because he was housetrained and is just a delight... smart as a whip (I would swear he totally understands english!) and so well behaved. I cannot imagine having any other dog but him! We've had him for just over 2yrs now (we got him shortly before Christmas 2yrs ago) and I can't imagine life without him!

Hi everyone. Just found this site while doing a search for this cruise. This will be my 3rd DCL cruise. Did a 4 day Land/Sea back in 2000 and a 7 day Eastern last year. I'm really looking forward to going through the Panama Canal. I hope I don't have to read all 20,000 plus posts. That would take me until cruise time.

Reminds me of when my college roommates cat had kittens. We didn't want to get too attached, so we named them by opening up the dictionary and pointing. We had kittens named: treadmill, hand grenade, granola, Hebrew calendar, fiberglass, etc.

It is in keeping with our pirate theme! We couldn't get into too much trouble swashbuckling with tiny plastic swords, could we?

You know how the servers figure out what you like and sometimes bring it before you even ask for it? For my 4 year old daughter it was cranberry juice and a bowl of maraschino cherries. For my 7 year old son it was a plate of little plastic swords. I think Josh brought home over 100 swords!

Raman and Ion even made little sunglasses out of the little plastic swords.

crazy question...i haven't been able to follow this thread too closely..i really tried, but there is just no way!! so my question is: what is everyone here's occupation?? i'm sure it was asked thousand and thousands of posts back, but i'm outta the loop!
i do in home child daycare...and right now..kids are taking a very late nap do to play time outside earlier!!!

We own 2 convenience stores one Shell and the other Chevron. 24/7-365 days--yeah some days I just want to pull my hair out!

Speaking of Dogs, that's my Rosee in my Avatar ... We lost her to Cancer in September. We still have her Uncle, Budde, who is adjusting but is still very clingy!
