Don't know if any has posted this yet but just saw this on Magical Mountain.

The Disneyland Resort website has announced that Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End, will be premiering at Disneyland on May 19, 2007.

The movie will be shown on a screen that will be constructed on Tom Sawyer Island, which has been closed for refurbishment. The audience will be seated on a stage currently being constructed at the Rivers of America water front.

Guests who are planning to attend the premier that day, or even just the park in general, should be prepared. Park hours will be 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and areas such as Adventureland, Frontierland, Critter County, and New Orleans Square will be closing around 3:00p.m. to allow for setup. Parade schedules and guided tours will also most likely be affected that day. California Adventure will be open that day with extended hours from 10:00a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

I think it was usual CC time about 5pm, the goofy pool was closed about 3.30pm and then they laid out tables and a buffett, ice carving, etc, and had the band up playing.

Now there were barriers up saying CC members only, but you didnt have to show your invite so maybe anyone could get in.
Aw, well based on this and posts after yours- if it's done when we're at port anywhere we will probably miss it- as we intend to be off the ship at ports and then rushing back to get ready for show/dinner.

For thoose who know my daughter had an ear operation Wedensday morning and hence I didnt post yesterday at all, but went well so we are home early even with snow everywhere.

Andrew, glad to hear everything went okay.

It was a sea day there are plenty of them, possible a formal night.

In fact it was THURSDAY 25th a sea day, found the Navigator whilst the CC party is not listed on the back the Goofy pool hours were, 6am to 4pm, 7.30pm to 12.00am.

Thank you for the explination BBB.:goodvibes I believe the band in our JH has over 100 in it this year. They will be in the St. Patrick's day parade in NYC as they have for the past 20 or so years. Lucky for DD, it is on the weekend this year.
That's awesome! (about the parade)

I believe our bands each one has well over 100 in it. Keep in mind that as of this year (changing later as I mentioned in one of my posts) all the 7th and 8th graders are in the same school- for the entire town. This one school has over 1700 students (which is a lot in one school for our smallish town!) - so even with 4 bands with atleast 100 in each, it's still not a huge amount of the students in band. Things will be somewhat different next year when it's divided up with 6/7/8th grade in two different schools. They have about 20 or so clarinet players alone, in each of the 4 bands.

I was just checking out the main board, the DCL door sign post to be exact, when I came across this photo.

Is it me, or does it look like a Hidden Mickey? Maybe I've been brainwashed by "The Mouse"! :lmao:

I still need to get our driver's licenses changed... cause we moved in Nov. We're so bad (that's the extent of how we "break the law"- and it's just procrastination!)

I hope your DS is okay! Strange rash and sore throat does not sound good at all... let us know how he's doing later when you have time!

The current manifest has:

Captain's (early) Dining: 164
Late Dining: 110
Wait Listed Early: 84

So currently, there are still 194 in late dining, but 84 trying to move to early.

FYI - Each dining room holds 400 guests, so we will be taking over a half a room on early if everyone on the WL gets moved, and 1/4 a one on the late!

The men (Captain excluded) have gotten ONE, I say ONE, measly x000. Yet it is the MEN who come out of the woodwork to get the 000's? Methinks the lady doth protest too much. ;)

Maybe I'm thinking of the mini's. All I remember is verandah man popped up out of nowhere one time. Was that a mini or the only 000 the men got or what?

And you're right- last night both men AND women popped up out of the woodwork to post right at 14,000 and then they all immediately said they had to go to bed! That's why we posted we were onto them and their shennanigans. LOL

Lisa,

Most of the discussion leading up to the Pirate was around the Mascot issue (the Wenches admitted they need a Male for good luck and chose Will Turner).

The other discussion was about lurkers and how many people were going to come out of the woodwork right at 14k.
Um, wrong. We did not choose Will Turner! Atleast I sure didn't.

Andrew: glad your daughter came through with flying colors

Lisa: Sorry your child isn't feeling well.

To the person who asked about late dining......we will definitely keep our late seating. The earlier one leaves us feeling too rushed.

Ok, so I looked at the posting stats that were posted and I have posted 140 times on this thread since 1/31. At the rate I am going, I will have 8633 additional posts by the time we cruise in 555 days.

Apparently I need to get a life.

You do not need to get a life. We are your life now, for the next 18mo. :lmao:

Thank you,

Also have to say my kids prefer early sitting and if they were late they would end up eating more from PLutos etc which I would not like.

Our friends that booked online immediately were able to secure a Aft Cat 4 cabin number. They don't like Aft. We don't like forward and we have a GTY -Cat 4. We were thinking this same thing. If we get a Forward cabin, we will just switch cabins. THere are the same amount in both our parties. I wonder...does DCL let you do that. I guess it would depend on witch CM you ask

I honestly wondered the same thing- if DCL would let us. But I think in our case (either they let us or we cancel because we're not cruising with our 3 kids in a room far off and we're not splitting up the parents the entire cruise either) hopefully they would make an exception. Our ressies are linked ofcourse- so hopefully they will give us rooms near one another when they assign staterooms.

FYI - Each dining room holds 200 guests, so we will be taking over a whole room on early if everyone on the WL gets moved, and 1/2 a one on the late!
Rutroh... what happens if we end up with over 200 (early dining is looking pretty close and many are changing off WLE to early dining it appears) that want to be linked together? Doesn't look like it would happen -first 200 get it I guess. :lmao:

So last night after I signed off, I decided to do some research based on something Lisa had posted - that on our manifest we had 22 families in a cat 6 (either assigned or gty) - there are only 138 cat 6's on the whole ship - so we have 16% of those cabins.

I edited the rest out because I am a **** today.
