I love it because if we see the afternoon show, we didn't have to get ready for dinner as early when in late dining!

Hmm, interesting. I hadn't even thought of that! We figured this time we just wouldn't see the shows (atleast not all) before dinner and if we did, we'd go without the kids unless they just happened to want to go. We were going to do things quite a bit different this cruise instead of the mad rush to get all us dressed for dinner, do show together, then do dinner together.

If we are able- we will probably do like you said... see the matinee with the kids and then allow them to go off with the club/lab during early dining (because that's when the kids eat too, if in the club/lab during that time) and then stay in the club/lab while WE go to dinner- if they want. And they probably will, if it's anything like last cruise. They seemed to want to be in the club/lab the MOST- smack in the middle of dinner... they said that's when the fun stuff was going on according to the itinerary.

Maybe you can just get them to leave you on CC when we go on 8/31 and then pick you up on the second stop of the 5 nighter. That would give you almost a week on the island.

Yea, as long as they open Cookies Bar-B-Q for Hazel and I each day, that will be just fine with me!!!

We have a 6 with 11 across the hall so that might be why ours isn't assigned yet either. But if you ask me, you'd think they'd be giving stateroom assignments to those with more than one room that need to be adjoined, connected, across the hall and such BEFORE filling up the rooms with stateroom assignments to others! I mean seriously, logistically that would be a wiser move.

I agree Shelley - I was actually thinking they need to wait for cabins across the hall from each other to open up I HOPE THAT'S NOT THE CASE

The friend I was visiting with today got a notice from the city for excessive water use. They have "used" 40K gallons of water the past month. Turns out a pipe that runs under the driveway was broken by the roofer's truck a couple months ago & it has been leaking into the ground. Parts of their yard are like a sponge. Thank goodness they have a big ditch in the back. They need to have an entire new line run from the street.

Maybe they're able to customize it because we've always had the second seating. They aren't as rushed to get everyone out and clean up before the next seating.

We have always had early & no problem.

I wonder if they are left with us in cat 6 and someone else in cat 11's or ALL the cat 11's taken where we'd have to be on a different floor (on the cat 11) would they move the person after already giving them stateroom assignments? Or would they upgrade them or what? I can't figure out why they'd sporadically give everyone else rooms first before the ones that need one across the hall. Makes no sense.
